Martial Arts: I Have Diligence Reward System

Chapter 123: Chapter 103: The Road Growing Ever Longer_2

”Back when Earth was riddled with wounds, facing the danger of species extinction, this group of surrender advocates proposed that Earth lay down its resistance, honor the Yangxiang Race as the Divine Race, willingly enslave themselves, and together confront the other seven races. It is said that at the time, the surrender faction almost unified Earth’s landscape, but due to the rise of human Martial Artists and the sabotage by the other seven races, along with various chance coincidences, the plan ultimately fell through.

”In the following centuries, Earth Martial Artists grew increasingly strong, and naturally, the human race was unwilling to become slaves, leading to the conspiracy of the Yangxiang Sect dissipating into smoke.

”Yet, there are always some clowns who refuse to give up, especially given the uniqueness of the Yangxiang Race, who can sneak out of Wet Ghost Towers in other countries, spreading lies to confuse the masses. This is why peace has always been difficult to maintain within the human race, and why the Yangxiang Sect has endured, refusing to die.”

Dai Yuegui licked his lips and continued:

”According to Divine Land Government intelligence, the main fighting force of the Yangxiang Sect these days are still those Yangxiang people who have infiltrated Earth. However, the Yangxiang Race’s disguise requires the consumption of a kind of Divine Water, and it seems that there is a shortage of this water recently, leading the Yangxiang Sect to noticeably restrain itself this year.

”The second fighting force of the Yangxiang Sect is composed of some Martial Artists who have found no success on Earth.

”This group is the most terrifying. Some among them are not lacking in power, and there are even Grandmasters. These individuals are radical, misanthropic, and narrow-minded, abandoning the dignity of the human race in the face of some trivial profits offered by the Yangxiang Race, making them the most detested and nauseating.

”Fortunately, their numbers are small, though their destructive power is immense.

”Finally, there are the miscellaneous fish cultivated by the Yangxiang Sect.

”The Qi Blood Pill you consume is all sourced from the Wet Realm, and the reason it is so expensive is due to the preciousness of the materials.

”The Yangxiang Race is indigenous to the Wet Realm, so they can easily obtain large quantities of materials. With the help of Earth traitors, the Yangxiang Sect has manufactured a kind of Demon Core that accelerates growth unnaturally.

”The Demon Core can rapidly push an ordinary person to break through to the first grade, or even the second grade, but the cost is a halved lifespan, and they can never break through to the third grade for life.

”The main source of a large quantity of miscellaneous fish for the Yangxiang Sect thus comes from humans who have consumed the Demon Core.

”The composition of these humans is even more complex, consisting of socially idle people who have found no success, as well as orphans who were taken in by the Yangxiang Sect from a young age and raised in concentration; actually, it is primarily orphans.

”These miscellaneous fish are both pitiful and hateful. They do not consider themselves part of the human race at all, having been brainwashed from a young age to become Yangxiang Race, irreconcilable with Earthlings. As for the orphans, the Divine Land Government is also powerless, and although the national strength of Divine Land is strong and refugee orphans are kept in check, abroad, there are too many countries plagued by famine for years. People there will do anything for a meal, let alone for the pitiful orphans.

”The existence of the Yangxiang Sect is actually a natural result of Earth’s development, which is unavoidable.

”Every year, large numbers of civilians die at the hands of the Yangxiang Race, and the Earth United Council’s five major Alliance Countries currently have no effective solution.”

After Dai Yuegui finished speaking, the entire vehicle fell into contemplation.

Su Yue sighed.

Orphans.

Abroad!

Dai Yuegui is right, let alone the Divine Land Government, even the combined efforts of Earth’s five major Alliance Countries cannot solve these sharp issues.

Earth is too vast, with too many countries.

The key issue is that the human race on Earth could never unite as one; from ancient times through continuous warfare to this day, some countries are still embroiled in civil wars.

The human race has an admirable quality of never admitting defeat.

But likewise, there is an innate flaw of bloodthirstiness, warlike nature, greed, and selfishness.

War, orphans, spies.

Regarding issues of the Yangxiang Sect, no government has the ability to solve them.

”In truth, although the Yangxiang Sect causes havoc among civilians, the government can still grit its teeth and suppress it. After all, even before the 21st century, Earth faced countless natural and man-made disasters.

”But the biggest hidden danger posed by the Yangxiang Sect is the threat to the families of Martial Artists.

”Everyone has family, friends, and loved ones... If while you are fighting on the Wet Realm Battlefield, you learn that your relatives have died at the hands of the Yangxiang Sect, how would you feel?

”That’s right, you would blame the government, you would resent the Investigation and Arrest Bureau, and you would resent the Military Department.

”For the human race, we can sacrifice, we can endure hardship, but we are also protecting our families. If our families were to die tragically, no Martial Artist could bear it.

”Especially some powerful Martial Artists who often decide the core of a war; if a Grandmaster’s mindset becomes unbalanced, the human race’s military will suffer heavy losses.

The Yangxiang Race has precisely targeted this weak spot, frequently assassinating Martial Artists’ families.

”Although governments across countries do not speak openly about it, the policies prohibiting civilians from buying houses or cars, and separating civilians from Martial Artists in residence, are actually for the safety of Martial Artists’ families.

”By concentrating Martial Artists and their families in upscale neighborhoods, attacks from the Yangxiang Race can be more effectively defended against.

”After all, with the concentration within neighborhoods, the Investigation and Arrest Bureau can quickly dispatch resources, and as long as some Martial Artists are resting at home, their presence in these communities can also deter the Yangxiang Race.”

Dai Yuegui added.

”So that’s how it is.”

The crowd nodded.

Thinking carefully, it seems reasonable.

Martial Artists are the cornerstone of Earth’s stability, and their families are the foundation of that cornerstone.

Through qualification certificates, restricting ordinary people from purchasing homes, this way, the families of Martial Artists can be effectively gathered together, maximizing the conservation of defensive resources.

It is said that in the 21st century, the value of a house included household registration and school district attributes, hence the sky-high prices.

In this era, the value of a house includes safety, which in fact makes it even more valuable.
