Blood Awakening: The Strongest Hybrid and His Vampire Bride

Chapter 497: Ivan’s foul plot... and the Maid’s service

The tea had long gone lukewarm by the time the meeting wound down. Loric leaned back in his chair, silver hair catching the lantern light as he exhaled a slow breath that sounded more like a chuckle.

”So,” Loric said at last, breaking the quiet. ”Shall we call this business concluded for now?”

Nikolai smirked and rose from his seat, stretching his shoulders with a lazy pop. ”For now.”

Vernan grunted from his place near the door, arms crossed, the gouges in his neck and collarbone already closing. ”Need an escort back to your rooms? Or maybe some... protection?” His deep voice rumbled with a jovial hint.

Nikolai gave him a flat stare. ”I just broke your spine and pinned you like a cub.”

The great bear snorted, but hummed with a smile. ”Still. You’re a guest in Silver Mansion tonight.”

Before Nikolai could answer, Loric stood and reached into his coat for an old flip phone. ”Actually, there’s one last call to make.” He tapped a button, turned away for a moment, and then—before Nikolai could ask—held the phone to his ear.

”Yo, old wolf,” Loric said easily. ”Your son’s alive. The little bastard broke my house apart, you’ll pay the bill, right?”

Nikolai blinked, confused, until a familiar, amused voice growled faintly on the other end.

”...Dad?”

”Don’t threaten me, Ivan~ you’re the one who told me to make it realistic.” Loric chuckled. ”Still the same. Thought you’d like to know your boy made it.”

Nikolai’s jaw slackened. ”Wait. You two... know each other?”

The old wolf smirked at Nikolai, his face changing slightly, the same handsome look, but he could barely pass for thirty at most. ”We’re classmates and share a shitty bond,” Loric said, glancing back with a crooked grin.

”Me, your father Ivan, and Dimitri—back before any of us had titles. I was the runt back then. My mother wasn’t pure Silver, so no one followed me. I got help from the two big shots, and thanks to that. It only took decades to claw my way into power here.”

He turned slightly, voice mellowing. ”By the time I gained enough strength, those Nosferatu dogs had swallowed half the family. Heck, if not for you. Would I have still been stuck in the shadows? Because of that, Killian ruled this branch like a leech. I couldn’t move fast enough to save Sulley; he’s my half-brother on my mother’s side.”

”What!? Then what about Kumiko?” Nikolai frowned.

”A family friend who those bastards were hunting left her with me, that woman was my first love... yet she chose an idiot who couldn’t protect her.”

”I see...” He hoped he might have gotten information about Kumiko’s family, but then he wondered who arranged this whole situation. ”So who started this idea?”

”It was Ivan,” Loric continued, ”who told me to use this mess to temper you. Put your life on the line, but let you grow without your father’s shadow smothering you. That’s why I let this little theatre play out. And—” he smiled faintly, ”You didn’t disappoint.”

Nikolai covered his face and sighed. ”Dads? Well, figures, he always wants the best for me, but this is a bit...”

”It’s called parenting,” the voice on the phone drawled. Then Ivan’s deep chuckle faded as the line clicked off. ”Good job, Niko.”

Nikolai stared for a moment, shaking his head. ”Such a dumb and convoluted idea! But, I guess I needed it.”

He looked back at Loric and Vernan. ”Well, I get it, we’ve signed an oath, so... forget it. I won’t blame you anymore.”

”Stay the night,” Loric offered with a small bow. ”My house owes you hospitality.”

”Fine.” Nikolai waved them off with a lazy flick of claws. ”But no more surprises.”

Vernan looked at the two women in maid outfits, then grinned at the young girl, with a smirk and made the symbol for sex with his fingers. ”Make sure you get some rest, for tomorrow’s business.”

Nikolai leaned back against the comfortable seat, his palm covering his eyes, quietly resting in the darkness after hearing bizarre news.

He knew it was her, that it was Madoka.

A strange tiger of a woman that drew him in, someone older than him, close to his mother in age. Yet despite trying to pull away, his body and desires continued to drag him towards her, like he became trapped in a swamp.

Her body felt amazing.

The sweet taste of her saliva and her soothing scent, and that irresistible tight warmth that wouldn’t let go.

”Dearest Master~ how is your tea?”

Clara’s voice echoed like a charming bell.

Her short skirt fluttered in sync with her wings as she poured the boiling water into the charming black cup with white butterflies on the sides.

”The tea is lovely, but I fear the maid is lovelier.”

”Hehe~ you can’t seduce me here! Naughty Master.”

The pair appeared to take the role seriously after being lent the outfits by the Silver Clan’s maids. What amused Nikolai as he peeked through his fingers was the fact that Loric and Vernan saw through him completely.

To think they predicted me losing control...

He tilted his head to the side, at the caramel-skinned vampire gal who stood behind him, holding a small bottle of oil. ”Hmm?” She jumped the moment her eyes met his. Nikolai winked at Anya, the pretty chromatic eyes sparkling with her false glasses.

”You look so hot right now, Anya.”

”Waa!?”

Despite her playful and seductive outfits, Anya was quite pure at heart. Nikolai narrowed his eyes as she spread the oils through her fingers with a slimy shlick. The massage oils carried the scents of primrose and honey. ”Are you going to massage my shoulders?”

Nikolai held the back of the sofa with both arms, his chest bare after the fight with Vernan, leaving his clothes a mess. Anya’s eyes avoided his body as she nervously reached out.

The warm, slippery oil spread across his neck, down around his shoulders.

That’s when he caught the wistful glance of Clara.

He enjoyed the way her eyes followed the smooth movements of Anya, who caressed Nikolai’s muscles like a professional. ”Nn? Did you have training somewhere, Anya?” Nikolai bit his lips, unable to hide the pleasure of her massage.

”Mmmmm, does it feel good? M a s t e r... Do you want... more?”

Anya’s warm breath carried the faint aroma of caramel as it blew past his nose, triggering Nikolai’s body to shudder. All the hairs on his body stood up, while her movements switched from the gentle rubbing to a sudden, powerful press, her palms almost tenderising his tough muscles.

”!!!”

The moment she found a certain spot, he lifted his hips off the sofa, almost shouting in agony, It hurts. It hurt like hell! But the strange pleasant heat as she stroked it, the moment after pressing, made Nikolai’s breathing heavier.

”Wow...” Clara gasped, catching Nikolai off guard, as she sat beside him, both eyes focused on him, her chin resting in her palms. ”Master, you look so happy right now. It’s like when Sister Leo uses her mouth to...Mmmppph!?”

He blocked her lips, refusing to lose his pride.

”You’ve worked too hard, Nikolai... look at all these wounds... these scars.”

With a squelch, her palms scooped more of the massage oils and circled below his shoulder blades, where he knew several deep scars remained.

”To keep you all safe, and happy. What are a few scars?” He couldn’t heal them even after several evolutions. So he tried to add value to them, each one from a fight to protect or prove himself to his wives.

”Fool, my sisters and I... we don’t care about stupid stuff like that. Hmmmmn....” Her lips brushed against the back of his neck as she worked lower, massaging the meat between her palms, her heat and soft breasts almost touching him. ”I hate seeing you hurt.”

Crack!

His spine cracked, and a sense of relief came, turning to see Anya’s chromatic eyes a little wet beside his cheeks.

”But when you fight ... why does it make my body hot, my abdomen becomes tight and stuffy and I just want to grab you and throw you down.” Anya’s eyes looked dazed, her cheeks red as her hands slipped even lower.

Nikolai’s eyes remained glued on her glossy, slightly parted lips, and he leaned closer.

”Ah~ Anya is horny!” Clara complained.

Until the cheeky fairy spoke up and they snapped out of their strange mood.

”W-What’s going on with me. I’m not usually like this, haha.” Awkwardly, Anya pulled back, her face pointing towards the door, eyes still... locked on Nikolai’s body. ”Did they give us some weird massage oil?”

Nikolai’s lips curved into a smile as he leaned closer to the girls, one arm around each of them. ”Hey, cute maids. Would you like to do something exciting with this young master?” He then lifted Clara with ease while pulling Anya from behind the sofa.

”Kya!?”

”Nnnn!”

”What did you expect to happen, feeding me this?” He pointed to the tea, which contained a specific ingredient that made wolves go into heat.

”Ahh~ Clara he found out, we have to escape!”

”...”

Clara didn’t respond.

Instead, she was unfastening her buttons in silence, her face filled with a bright smile.

”Clara!?”

Anya gasped, rushing to match her, while Nikolai just carried them like criminals.

”Mm~ well, first to strike wins?”
