Blood Awakening: The Strongest Hybrid and His Vampire Bride

Chapter 461: How about a Date?

The gloomy night sky covered the shimmering stars of the London sky, while Nikolai sat on a cold stone wall, taking slow breaths. His body screamed with pain from the fight with Honey Bear; it might have been the first time in months he suffered so much damage.

He closed his eyes and leaned back.

”I should head home soon, Leona will worry.”

Nikolai couldn’t remember the last time his bones and muscles ached so badly; the elder’s punches penetrated to his marrow. He ignored the medic’s advice to visit the hospital to have his bones set again; the hairline fractures would heal rapidly, thanks to his evil god’s blood, anyway.

”But this is an issue right...?”

In his hand, the smartphone flashed with a message from the number from earlier—a message from the Silver clan.

”To think they would arrange a meeting with Sulley, somehow I don’t like this.”

The message didn’t give him a good feeling, enough to make him feel it might just be a complete trap and that he shouldn’t attend. However, the promise to Kumiko and knowing how his father tried to help the kid spurred Nikolai on.

He pushed off the wall and bit his lip with a low grunt to stifle the dull ache in his bones.

”Well... the meeting is in a few days, for now,

should I enjoy the sights of this city with the girls?”

Clara POV

***

Inside the apartment, Ryan and Clara sat watching a strange television show, with people living in a shared house, while being filmed for the chance to win a few hundred thousand pounds.

”Brother, are you still mad at me?”

”...”

Ryan’s eyes flicked to his sister, unable to look at her thoroughly before returning his gaze to the television. He closed his eyes with a deep breath, then leaned back, watching the couple on the screen performing a task to win luxury food for a week.

”No.”

Brother has been strange since that night...

Ever since she gave her virginity to Nikolai and submitted herself to that deep hunger that lingered within.

No, it wasn’t giving....

From the moment I saw him, I wanted him.

To devour him, and yet when everything happened...

I was the one who got eaten.

The light in her brother’s eyes changed, and he finally looked at her.

”Don’t worry, I just need a little time.”

”Really...? You don’t hate me now?”

He looked strange, his eyes widened at her words, before Ryan slammed the arm of the chair he sat in. Bang! ”Who said I hated you!? You’re my sister, and I will never hate you.” His words were enough to relieve her as she curled into the thick blankets wrapped around her.

Ever since she slept with Nikolai, her legs and body remained lethargic, despite accepting a massive amount of his essence; her body struggled to absorb it slowly, the strength inside her as if wrapped in a thick cocoon growing each hour.

But brother... can you accept me becoming Brother Nikolai’s wife?

Clara looked outside the window with a pale reflection, but that’s when the door clicked open and the familiar scent she longed for spread through the apartment along with his powerful and violent aura.

I love it when he comes back from the arena!

She spun her face away from Ryan’s view, her cheeks bright red, as heat grew in her abdomen. Despite struggling to absorb more energy, she wanted it. Wanted his thick essence to flood her again... more... more.... and more... until there was nothing left.

Am I a naughty girl now?

The wet heat that spread from her core to her crotch made Clara’s cheeks even redder. She clutched the blankets and tried to hide.

Her sweet scent flooded the apartment faster than Nikolai’s.

”Huh, is someone baking cookies?”

”!!!”

Ryan’s comment was enough to make Clara’s heart thump against her chest, making all the sense vanish from her head.

”Darling, you’re hurt!”

A sharp, but concerned tone echoed from the kitchen, which drew Clara’s attention as she watched the ginger woman hugging Nikolai tightly, kissing him on the cheek; these little actions created a sharp prick in her chest.

....

Clara grit her teeth, her hands clutching the sofa as she watched the two people flirting.

I don’t like it...

He is supposed to be mine!

And for a moment, her eyes turned pure black.

Nikolai POV

***

Not long after returning, Leona scolded him for letting himself get injured. She forced him to sit without a shirt while using ointment and a massage to help soothe his aching bones and muscles.

Her fingers traced along his ribs, pressing at the bruises with a nurse’s sternness. Every time he winced, she scolded him under her breath, but there was affection beneath the sharpness. Leona’s palms moved with steady pressure, warming his flesh, coaxing the ache from his body as if she could knead the violence away.

”There,” she murmured. ”Not so invincible after all, hm?”

Nikolai leaned back, eyes closed, enjoying the heat of her touch. But his nose twitched again. That scent. Sweet, sticky, decadent. It wrapped around his tongue like sugar spun into threads, tugging his hunger forward as he looked at the cute fairy wrapped in several blankets, peeking out at him with jet-black eyes.

Clara.

Leona also noticed her nose sniffing the air as she snorted and narrowed her eyes, dabbing the ointment harder than before. ”Don’t.”

He looked up at her. ”Don’t what?”

”Don’t look at her like that...” Her voice carried a sense of determination and anger. ”You’ve already crossed the line with her. I know. She knows. But right now she isn’t healed enough to handle that look you’re giving her.”

Nikolai smirked faintly, though his chest still smouldered with the heat of Clara’s vanilla-sweet blood. ”You jealous, Leo?”

”Of course I am!” she snapped, then softened. ”But it’s not about jealousy, look at her face... like a beast ready to ravish the poor girl. If you pound her like you did me the other night after fighting... you’re going to destroy her.”

He looked at Leona with his mouth wide open, shocked at her honesty.

His eyes drifted towards the living room, unable to resist the scent. Through the doorway, he glimpsed Clara curled in her blanket, black hair spilling across her shoulders, her face turned away. But her scene gave everything away...

The sweet scent told him her current state. Hot. Wet. Hungry.

She wanted him and his essence.

Rather than a fairy, is she a succubus?

Leona slapped his chest lightly, dragging him back. ”Listen to me. You need to rest, eat and recover for the next fight. Don’t sink your teeth into a dangerous fruit that will melt under you... If you’re that desperate.... then I’ll.... I’ll use my mouth!”

Leona’s words brought a smile to his lips, but the cute woman’s blush stole his attention completely.

He chuckled, reaching out and stroking Leona’s cheek, brushing her lips with his thumb, before whispering. ”But she smells good...”

”And I smell better,” Leona countered. She leaned close, her lips brushing his jaw, her teeth grazing just enough to leave a mark. ”I’m here. Right now. Don’t make me remind you who your wife is!”

Ba-Dum

Ba-Dum

The calming scent of ginger and citrus from her hair filled his nose, grounding him for a heartbeat that allowed him to calm down and focus himself. He took a deep breath, the wolf’s chest filled with Leona’s scent as he grabbed her tight.

Leona followed his gaze and pinched his cheek hard enough to sting. ”Stop it. You’ll drive her insane. Or yourself.”

He grunted but didn’t argue. His eyes fell shut again, body surrendering to Leona’s careful hands, though the hunger still pulsed under his skin.

”Leona... It’s you that I want.”

”E-Eh!?”

Her voice quivered as his hands slipped down her back, hugging her tight. ”Let’s go on a date tomorrow... enjoy the sights of the city... together.”

Leona blinked, lips parted in surprise. ”A... date?”

”Yeah,” Nikolai said, his grin crooked but sincere. ”No arenas. No blood. Just us. I’ll even carry the bags if you want me to.”

Her cheeks flushed a deep scarlet, and she shoved his shoulder with a weak laugh.

”You better not forget! Otherwise, I won’t let you use it for a month!” Her hand gripped his crotch, wrapping her hands around it and squeezing his balls gently, with a pleasant smile on her lips.

”Careful, you might just awaken the beast.”

”Hmm.... isn’t this thing already awake, you damn perverted beast.”

For a moment, the room softened. The ache in his bones dulled, Clara’s burning scent faded into the background, and the wolf inside curled up like it too wanted to sleep beside her. Leona’s weight against him, the warmth of her breath on his chest until he felt the smooth warmth of her bare skin against his shaft...

”Hey... honey... I want it....” Leona’s breathy voice resounded in his ears like a bomb.

From the living room, Clara peeked through the blankets, her black eyes glimmering in the low light, watching their movement. She glanced lower and saw Nikolai’s exposed weapon being stroked by Leona... and gasped.

Then sank her teeth into her lips, she reached into her clothes... jealousy, anger and a strange sense of delight blooming in her abdomen.

However, for the couple...

Everything but each other vanished.

A date, a night of passion... Leona’s natural charm surpassed the fairy.
