Chapter 1365: Part 1: Overwhelming support to Tom Doyle

Cox Family:

Wilfred Cox found out the news at night. He was shocked to the core. He had tried every trick to lure Vincent Carey into the duel.

But Vincent Carey had cleverly avoided everyone. He was upset because of the banquet failure. Yet he heard such news this time.

He knew the Black Towerʼs wizard seeds wouldnʼt be able to remain patient for long. But he still underestimated them.

Especially, he underestimated Tom Doyle. From their earlier conversation, he should have seen that this was going to happen.

But anyway, he was happy that the newcomer was going to face some serious trouble. Because the magic duel was no joke.

In the magic arena, every move was allowed except for external things. He thought Tom Doyle would be able to use corrosion magic without restriction.

No one had seen the true extent of his strength. Those who had seen him were dead. Only the Black Towerʼs Forbidden Wizards knew about it.

He didnʼt think Vincent Careyʼs gravity magic could stop Tom Doyle tomorrow.

”Interesting,” a wide smile appeared on his face. His earlier depressed mood was swept away. He was now looking forward to tomorrowʼs duel.

He was going to book tickets at midnight.

...

Nicholson Family:

Rick Nicholson was dumbfounded by the news. He summoned his son to his study and discussed it.

”Whatʼs going on?” he asked.

Jason Nicholson was speechless. He had challenged Vincent Carey that morning. But Vincent Carey rejected his duel challenge.

Now, Tom Doyle was going to fight against him. He didnʼt know what happened in the meantime. But he thought Tom Doyle was not easy to defeat.

He had never thought of fighting against Tom Doyle. Tom Doyle had corrosion magic that could damage his physique. He had avoided that person.

Yet Vincent Carey, with elemental magic, had accepted the duel. He thought Vincent Carey was going to be crippled.

”Father, I think the Black Tower must have forced him to accept the duel. In the magic arena, no one can save him. Let him die,” Jason said with a cold smile.

He hadnʼt forgotten his defeat. He had been waiting to avenge it. But he couldnʼt do it under the watchful eyes of the Silver Tower.

”Ha... Ha... Ha... let him die,” Rick said with a laugh. He hadnʼt forgotten about the old servantʼs death.

”I have been looking for ways. I didnʼt expect the kid to seek his own death. In the magic arena, the forbidden wizards canʼt intervene.”

”That kid is going to die for sure,” Rick added with a smile.

”Iʼm going to book tickets. I want to see his death in person,” Jason said with hatred. Even he didnʼt know when he developed this much hatred towards the newcomer.

”Okay, Iʼm going to watch with a few colleagues as well,” Rick said.

This time both were grateful to the Black Tower. If not, their revenge might take a long period of time.

....

Susan Park, who was in her house, was dumbfounded as well.

”Is he stupid?” she thought.

Because no one in their sane mind can fight Tom Doyle in a duel. Because the direct confrontation would lead him to death.

Though she was not afraid of Tom Doyle, because she herself had radiation magic. It was more powerful than corrosion magic.

But she still didnʼt think that the newcomer was strong enough to defeat Tom Doyle. Because itʼs one thing to defeat Jason Nicholson.

Yet itʼs different when it comes to fighting against Tom Doyle. You need means to block the corrosion.

She shook her head in disappointment.

”I thought the newcomer would be interesting. But he was in such a hurry to die. Then no one can save him,” she said to herself. She then went to sleep.

...

Meanwhile,

Not only the magic city was alarmed; even the various magic towers were shocked by the news. The Red Tower, Silver Tower, and Black Tower were considered the top fighting powers of the Mage Union.

Thus, news related to them was important to many people. When they learned the newcomer had joined the Silver Tower.

It had caused other towers to find suitable talent. Because they wanted to have a power balance. They didnʼt want to be overshadowed by the wizard seeds of the Silver Tower.

Now, looking at the news, everyone thought that the newcomer of the Silver Tower had a short life. Tom Doyleʼs reputation was notorious.

Even among the Mage Unionʼs wizard seed rankings, Tom Doyleʼs name could be seen among the top 10. Such a person was going to fight against the newcomer.

Many good-hearted people sighed. At the end of the day, Tom Doyle belonged to the Black Tower, which was known for its evil magic path.

Certainly, people didnʼt want them to rise.

Among the magic towers, the number one Red Tower was attracted by the news as well. They were small in numbers, but their combat power was different.

Not many had seen them walk outside. Even the Black Tower had to be careful not to offend them. They were the spear of the Mage Union.

Itʼs just that they were not judgmental like other towers. Gravity magic is ancient magic. The Ancient Gravity Mages are capable of changing the terrain. So they had little expectations from Vincent Carey.

...

Silver Tower:

Meteora Supreme Filip was in his room. His eyes were icy. He had long wanted to meet the enemy countryʼs wizard seed who had become the wizard seed of the Silver Tower.

Yet he was shielded by the forbidden wizards here. He was annoyed by the matter. But he hadnʼt expected the kid to seek his own death.

Even he had to walk sideways upon seeing the Black Tower Wizards. Yet the kid had agreed to fight against him inside the magic arena.

Itʼs a place where no one can help. He then decided to book a ticket at midnight.

He wanted to capture the death of the kid. Then he would share it with Meteor Country and the enemy, Sand Rock Country.

...

From MCʼs Perspective:

The following day,

I woke up a few hours before sunrise. The first thing I did was go to the mana chamber.

A few minutes later,

I entered the mana chamber and started practicing the mental method. I sat cross-legged on the mat. Then I closed my eyes and started to run the Gravity Ark Mental Method.

The pure, rich mana filled the chamber. I started to absorb the gravity mana from the surroundings. I started to guide the mana particles according to the mental method.

After the circulation, the gravity mana entered the mana core space. The refined mana was immediately absorbed by the gravity mana core.

Seeing that, I continued to repeat the process.

Time passed,

I reached my limit a few hours later. I stopped practicing and started comprehending the gravity rules. My talent was better than before.

I slowly started to understand the difficult concepts. At some point, I felt an increase in the power of the gravity rules.

My heart was excited. Even a little increase in the gravity rule can enhance the power of the magic spell. Not only that, I felt an increase in strength as well.

I wanted to continue the practice. Since it was duel day, I could only stop here. Then I opened my eyes and called up the status panel in my mind.

The status panel appeared before my eyes. I started to go through the details. Seeing that the strength stats had increased, I sighed inwardly.

Even small progress is important. Then I dismissed the status panel and stood up to leave.

I turned off the console and exited the mana chamber. Today my goal of being low-key was going to end. I just hoped that after today, no one would bother me.
