Gravity Mage with Level-Up System

Chapter 1364: Two Magic Towerʼs approval

Magic Arena:

The Manager of the Magic Arena is a Magic Lord named Garrett. He is an old man with a weak appearance. He was in his office when he received a message from the staff.

Upon reading the information, his expression changed drastically. A magic duel between the wizard seeds from two different towers rarely happens.

Most of the wizard seeds have high status. They disdain fighting in the arena to earn resources. Thatʼs why he was taken aback upon receiving the message.

He doesnʼt know whether itʼs a prank or not.

Swoosh!

He quickly left his room. Soon, he reached the office and saw the staff.

”Who is requesting the duel?” Garrett asked.

Upon seeing the manager, the staff pointed to Tom Doyle.

Garrettʼs eyes flickered. He recognized Tom Doyle, a wizard seed of the Black Tower. The personal background of Tom Doyle was not ordinary, so he was confused.

”Let me handle this.” After saying that, he walked up to Tom Doyle.

He said, ”Wizard Seed Tom Doyle, your request is an important matter. I canʼt agree without knowing the details.”

Tom Doyle knew the old man in front of him. He had seen him before.

”Manager, Iʼm serious. The wizard seed of the Silver Tower has accepted the duel as well,” Tom Doyle said.

Hearing this, Garrett was surprised. He had heard about the Silver Towerʼs new wizard seed, who comes from a humble background.

So there was no threat of backers.

”Good, I need verification from both of your towers,” Garrett requested.

”Okay, you can inquire,” Tom Doyle said with a smile.

Hearing this, Garrett made a call to the Silver Tower Manager.

On the other hand, Tom Doyle decided to inform the Black Tower Manager. His visit was abrupt; he came here without thinking about the procedures.

Meanwhile,

Inside the Silver Tower, Manager Lara was doing her work when she received the call from the Magic Arena Manager, which surprised her.

As far as she knew, no one from their tower was participating. But she answered the call.

Garrett explained everything during the call. But Lara heard it for the first time. She knew Vincent had gone to the banquet.

She quickly connected the dots and thought it must be a trick by Wilfred Cox. She was unaware of the events that took place there.

But she requested a minute before ending the call. She wanted to make sure before giving her word. If she agreed, the duel would become official.

Not only was she going to ask Vincent Carey, but she would also inform Lord Charlotte.

...

From MCʼs Perspective:

I was resting inside my room when Manager Laraʼs call woke me up. Seeing that she wanted to meet me, my expression turned solemn.

I hadnʼt told her about the challenge earlier. I got up from the bed and went to wash my face.

About 5 minutes later,

I came to the lobby where Manager Lara was waiting for me.

”Whatʼs going on?”

”Are you going to fight against Tom Doyle?” Lara asked.

She knew Manager Garrett must be waiting for her call.

Hearing her scolding made my mouth twitch.

”Lord, he has been stalking me. If I donʼt agree to a rematch, he will continue to stalk me. I fear that next time he will bring his friends as well,” I replied.

”Such a thing happened?” She raised her eyebrows in surprise.

”Why didnʼt you tell me earlier?” she asked.

”I had thought about telling you later. I didnʼt plan on hiding anything.” After saying that, I started to explain what happened at the banquet.

Laraʼs eyebrows eased. She had figured out the ins and outs.

”Are you sure about tomorrowʼs duel?” she asked.

Hearing that, I recalled the unknown palpitations. Even after updating the system, there were still things bothering me.

Then I looked at her and replied, ”Iʼm confident. I can defeat him again. Itʼs just that I donʼt want to follow up on troubles. I hope the Lord can do something about it.”

Lara nodded her head and said, ”Iʼll inform Lord Charlotte. You canʼt trust the Black Tower people. Since you have offended one, they wonʼt be convinced until you convince everyone.”

Hearing that, I relaxed. Then I sat on the sofa and waited for her to discuss things with Lord Charlotte. I didnʼt know how she found out, but I thought it was related to Tom Doyle.

Meanwhile,

Manager Garrett got permission from the Black Tower Manager. He then looked at Tom Doyle in surprise, thinking there would be a long conversation.

Because the Silver Towerʼs Manager had no clue, the Black Tower Manager immediately agreed.

”Is this the Magic Towerʼs different style of doing things?” Garrett asked himself.

Tom Doyle was speechless as well. But he didnʼt report it back to the Black Tower earlier. But the approval was given right away. He was wondering about that but then shook his head and cast the doubts aside.

He wanted the duel to happen, and since everything on his side was okay, now he had to wait for the Silver Tower.

”Whatʼs happening?” he asked.

Garrett looked at him and replied, ”The new wizard seed didnʼt inform his manager. Likely, a meeting is happening right now.”

Hearing this, Tom Doyle sneered inside. He didnʼt expect the newcomer to behave like this.

”Is he looking down on me?” His face turned ugly. Then he chose to answer him tomorrow.

...

On the other hand, Lara called Lord Charlotte. The Forbidden Wizard was busy but attended her call.

After learning that Vincent Carey was going to fight against Tom Doyle in the Magic Arena, she became interested.

After knowing the ins and outs, she thought Vincent Careyʼs decision was right. The Black Tower people wouldnʼt stop their challenge unless everyone was convinced.

She also told her that she would return tomorrow, probably at the time of the duel. Manager Lara felt relaxed after ending the call.

If Lord Charlotte were here, many things wouldnʼt happen.

She then looked at Vincent Carey and said, ”You are lucky. The Lord is going to be here tomorrow.”

Hearing that, I was surprised, but my heart felt more at ease now.

”You can go back and take care of your preparation. There is no need to waste time in the storage room,” she said to me.

Hearing that, I nodded to her before leaving the place.

Lara waited for him to leave. Then she sighed. Ever since the new wizard seed had arrived, his presence had stirred a lot of people.

She then removed her unnecessary thoughts before calling back to Manager Garrett. He immediately attended the call.

”Manager Garrett, you can conduct the duel,” she said.

Hearing that, Manager Garrett was surprised. Then he thanked her before ending the call.

Tom Doyle heard it. He was overjoyed, and then he left the place without worry. He was going to fight at his heartʼs content tomorrow.

When Tom Doyle left the place, Manager Garrett turned towards the staff. He had work to do.

He said, ”Since we have received their confirmation, itʼs going to be an official duel. Start spreading the news, and open the ticket sales at midnight.”

”I want tomorrowʼs magic duel to be a blockbuster,” Garrett added.

Hearing that, the staff were all pumped up and began to work.

It didnʼt take long for the news to spread about the magic duel, especially among those who follow the daily updates of the Magic Arena.

After learning that there was going to be an important event tomorrow, and that too a duel between wizard seeds, the followers were shocked to the core.

They were wizards from many different backgrounds. Some were workers while others were from wizard families. Everyone followed the Magic Arena News.

So this matchup had alarmed the whole magic city. Those who didnʼt know about Vincent Carey started to learn about him. There were many wizards who were unaware of the new wizard seed of Silver Tower.

As many people liked to travel, they didnʼt know the latest details. This matchup had caused everyone to learn about the latest happenings.

After knowing that the new wizard seed of the Silver Tower was a Gravity Mage, people were amazed because Gravity Magic is known as Sub-Taboo magic. It was originally ancient Sub-Taboo magic.

Because of this, they had favorable opinions towards Vincent Carey. At the same time, people knew about Tom Doyle, mainly because of the Black Towerʼs reputation. No one wanted to underestimate them.

It was just that the rumors about Tom Doyleʼs defeat at the hands of Vincent Carey not long ago had spread as well. It had received mixed reactions.

People didnʼt think a newly joined wizard seed could defeat a notorious Black Tower wizard seed.

While the news was causing shock in the city, it reached the ears of major wizard families and other powerful organizations. They were all surprised.

Not many things could interest them, but this match was one of them. Especially the families connected to the Silver Tower and Black Tower considered it important news.

Their family heads chose to watch the duel in person tomorrow. Itʼs inevitable that ticket sales are going to be high.
