Gravity Mage with Level-Up System

Chapter 1218: Unknown figure spying?

From MCʼs Perspective:

Shortly afterwards,

The aircraft arrives at the True Elements Society. It goes directly deep inside the territory. Those elders who became alarmed quickly identified the aircraft.

After realizing it was Head Howard Mason, they returned to their positions. Quickly, the news spread among the department elders.

The Headʼs presence inside the organization is important. If he is back, then the troublemakers will quiet down their activities as well.

The aircraft landed in the unauthorized area. The place is close to the Headʼs office.

When the aircraft touched down, the cabin door was unlocked. The wizards then began to exit one by one. They all gathered outside.

Finally, I exited at last. I stepped outside and stood not far from the others. They were curious about my identity, but they did not feel it was a good time to inquire.

Head Howard appeared. He took the aircraft back into the storage bracelet.

He then looked at everyone before saying, ”We have resolved the problem. The Anderson Family wonʼt trouble you guys again. For the dangers you have suffered, I donʼt have words to explain.”

”But the Anderson Family will definitely pay a price for it. So donʼt think about acting on your own. I will send compensation to each of you later.”

”Try to focus on increasing your strength. Only strength matters among wizards,” Howard said.

Hearing this, the male and female wizards came to terms. They were glad to hear that the Anderson Family would face the wrath of the True Elements Society. This provided comfort to them.

Knowing they would receive compensation, everyone felt relieved and happy.

On the other hand, I stood silently, but I couldnʼt wait to test the black ore. I felt restless in my heart.

At the same time, Head Howard called for the medic team. They arrived quickly and took the wizards with them for treatment.

Now, Head Howard and I were left alone.

His gaze fell on me. I didnʼt know what was going on in his mind.

”Vincent, you have done well so far. I hope you keep making progress. As I said before, I will keep an eye out for Gravity Magic resources. The Anderson Family Head has also given his promise.”

”So donʼt worry about the lack of resources here. Try to explore Gravity Magic on your own,” Howard said.

”Head, I will work hard,” I replied.

Howard smiled before informing Paul Lin.

About five minutes later,

Paul Lin arrived at the scene. Upon seeing Vincent and Head Howard, he smiled.

”Head,” Paul Lin greeted the Head first.

”Take him back to his dorm,” Howard nodded and said.

”Letʼs go,” Elder Paul grabbed my shoulder. The next moment, we were moving through the air.

Howard smiled before disappearing from the spot.

Shortly afterwards,

Elder Paul Lin dropped me off at my dorm building.

”Take a rest. We will talk tomorrow,” Elder Paul said before leaving.

I nodded to him. Then my gaze turned toward the dorm building.

”Iʼm back,” I uttered before walking into the building.

I quickly reached my room and opened the door.

After entering, I locked the door and went to take a shower.

Fifteen minutes later,

I changed into comfortable clothes. Feeling the freshness and security in the place, I felt a wave of tiredness wash over me.

Then I went to bed to sleep.

At midnight, a figure appeared near the window where Vincent Carey was sleeping inside the room. The figure was secretive. No presence could be felt.

The figure observed Vincent Carey in bed, keeping its gaze fixed on him for at least a few minutes before disappearing from the place.

[Ding! Warning]

[The unknown wizard has just left the area.]

The mechanical voice sounded in my mind. But I continued to sleep and didnʼt open my eyes. My instincts were screaming at me to use the Gregor Mansion.

But I knew it would be a foolish decision to make. I thought perhaps the person wouldnʼt attack me right away because it was the first time I had sensed someone staring at me during the night.

Itʼs quite possible someone came to spy on me. After checking, the person has now left. Who could it be? There are many people who are hostile to me.

Especially the wizards from the Beast Taming and Bloodline Departments. Suddenly, something occurred to me.

”Were the Aristocratic Families planning to take any action against me?” I thought.

I felt it was quite possible. Since Head Howardʼs appearance, things had been quiet so far. These Aristocratic Families hadnʼt had any chances to come back. They werenʼt causing any problems.

Except for sending people to monitor me from time to time, they had been staying quiet. But I thought that the situation would soon change. I hoped people wouldnʼt drag me into it.

I had come here because of the Mage Union. They are the sponsors. I suspected that the Mage Union had eyes and ears in the True Elements Society.

If they learned about these issues, I hoped they would send someone to stop these people.

After pushing these thoughts aside, I fell asleep for real.

The following day,

I woke up late. The midnight incident had made me sleep for long hours. After getting out of bed, I started my morning routine.

About two hours later,

After getting ready, I left the dorm building and began heading to the Special Mage Department. My eyes narrowed upon seeing familiar faces on the way.

These were the wizards who kept track of my whereabouts. I ignored them and continued walking. First, I decided to go to the library after class. I wanted to see if there was any information recorded about the black ore.

Thinking about it improved my mood.

Shortly afterwards,

I arrived at the Special Mage Department. After showing my ID, I walked in. My appearance drew attention. Most were surprised because I had been cutting classes for some time.

I guessed they had noticed it as well, so I wasnʼt surprised. I nodded to people before heading to the lecture hall.
