Gravity Mage with Level-Up System

Chapter 1054: Part 2: Studentsʼ reaction

From MCʼs Perspective:

Carolinaʼs impatience was evident as she responded, ”Youʼre joking in this situation? Tell me what really happened in the library.” She knew about the Steel Familyʼs tragic fate and was eager to learn more.

Upon hearing this, my expression became grave. I knew the information regarding Craig Steel and his family was highly confidential.

As a witness to his interrogation, I was privy to the shocking revelation that they were all spies. Such sensitive information could not be easily shared with a third party, and I was uncertain if divulging it would yield any positive results.

Therefore, I decided to conceal the details of the interrogation.

”I was studying in the library as usual when Craig Steel abruptly entered, behaving erratically,” I explained to Carolina. ”It was clear he hadnʼt come to study. He displayed a menacing intent before unleashing a powerful magic spell at me.”

”I immediately countered his attack with my own magic spell, resulting in the ensuing destruction,” I added.

Carolina was taken aback. She hadnʼt anticipated a level-7 Wizard attempting to harm Vincent Carey.

”Was there a personal grudge between you two?” she inquired.

”No, I had only met him that day,” I replied.

”Then why did he attack you inside the library?” she pressed.

”I donʼt know,” I admitted, my voice tinged with sadness.

Carolina sighed inwardly, deciding not to pursue the matter further.

”What are your plans for the future?” Carolina asked.

”Iʼm going to stay within the academy for now,” I replied.

”What about the notification from the Mage Union?” she inquired.

”I donʼt know when it will arrive,” I answered.

A thought occurred to me, and I asked, ”You seemed troubled by something. What happened?”

”The Steel Family is no more,” Carolina replied, her voice filled with sorrow.

”Which Steel Family?” I asked, confused.

Carolina rolled her eyes before explaining, ”The family of that Senior who attacked you. The male members of their family were captured and brought back to our academy by special squads.”

I was stunned. I immediately began questioning her about the incident.

Meanwhile, in the Transformation Hall:

A palpable tension hung in the air as the Wizard Students, their faces etched with disbelief and anger, gathered in the common room.

The recent events in the Sub-Taboo Hall had ignited a fire within them, a demand for justice that resonated through the hallowed halls.

Whispers of the library incident, the mysterious disappearance of Craig Steel, and the inexplicable destruction of his family had reached their ears, sparking outrage and a sense of betrayal.

The students, fueled by their shared passion for magic and their deep respect for the academyʼs traditions, decided to take matters into their own hands.

They knew that only the powerful Wizards of the Elder Council and the Council House could intervene and right the wrongs that had been committed.

With determination in their eyes, they began to formulate a plan to appeal to these influential figures, hoping to convince them of the gravity of the situation and the urgent need for action.

In the Taboo Hall:

Mike Curtis, a seasoned Wizard and the True House Wizard of the Taboo Hall, sat in his room, listening intently as his subordinate recounted the shocking events that had unfolded in the library.

The news had caught him completely off guard. Vincent Carey, a quiet and studious student, was known for his unwavering adherence to the rules, especially when it came to the library. Mike couldnʼt fathom why such a respected student would engage in such reckless behavior.

He knew that Vincent Carey was a true bookworm, spending countless hours immersed in the ancient tomes that lined the library shelves.

Unlike many of his peers who relied on lectures and guidance from senior Wizards, Vincent preferred to learn through self-study.

His passion for magic, particularly his mastery of gravity, had led him to explore the depths of the libraryʼs collection, seeking knowledge that was beyond the scope of the academyʼs curriculum.

Mike couldnʼt help but feel a pang of sympathy for Vincent. While his shadow magic had granted him unique opportunities to experiment with monsters and enhance his abilities, he got the support and resources the from the Bloodline Hall or Beast Hall.

The incident in the library, therefore, pointed to the involvement of another party, someone who had deliberately framed Vincent or caused the destruction.

On the other hand, Alicia was roaming the bustling streets of the Capital, her heart heavy with the news of the Steel Familyʼs recent troubles.

Unlike the easily swayed Mike Curtis, Alicia had an uncanny knack for sensing when something was amiss. The academyʼs decision to dispatch the Elite Squad, a unit renowned for its exceptional skills and unwavering loyalty, was a clear indication that this wasnʼt simply a student dispute.

As she strolled along the cobbled streets, lost in thought, a memory flickered in her mind: the library incident. It had been brushed off as a mere rivalry between two prominent wizards, but Alicia couldnʼt shake the feeling that there was more to the story.

A shiver ran down her spine as she realized the potential depth of the intrigue. Her mesmerizing eyes narrowed, a spark of determination igniting within her. She knew she had to uncover the truth, no matter the cost.

A flicker of determination ignited in Aliciaʼs eyes as she considered her next move. She knew that the Steel Family estate was located in a highly restricted area, guarded by elite security forces.

However, her connections within the city, coupled with her exceptional skills, would allow her to bypass these obstacles. With a newfound resolve, she set off towards the estate, her mind racing with the possibilities that awaited.

Meanwhile, the major families affiliated with the Yellow River Academy were growing increasingly anxious. The Steel Family incident had sent shockwaves through the city, and they demanded answers from the Academyʼs management.

Questions about the nature of the attack, the motives behind it, and the Academyʼs response were swirling through their minds.

The lack of any concrete information only fueled their growing unease. As days time passed, their worry intensified, leaving them feeling helpless and uncertain about the future.
