Chapter 1000  Felt Good

BOOM!

Sylas landed on the ground with a violent uprush. The earth rolled, but he had already shot ahead.

His Scorpion Warlord Armor snapped into place on his body, oozing out with a blackened violet fog.

His Will bloomed, one Rune after another manifesting beneath the call of his Spark Mastery.

All of Sylasʼ Physical stats gained a +10,000 the instant the first layer took shape, the ground reacting with crackling splinters.

There seemed to be a very real, very tangible manifestation to his Will. The flicker in his eyes followed along with it, and all of a sudden, it felt as though most on the battlefield couldnʼt even move.

BANG!

Sylas only paused for a single instant of time before he closed the distance in on Lady Mov. His claw swiped out, [Primate Swipe] activating as he faced off against the club.

Surging, violent, powerful. He embodied every bit of those words. He might have been far smaller, but his momentum was even more deadly.

Semi-Fusion.

[Voice of a King (FFF+) (Gene Skill)]

[No Law can bind the King. Limits? The Basilisk King has none. It shatters them with its Will alone.]

[When facing an enemy of weaker Will, you suppress them. Over the course of the battle, depending on the disparity, your stats increase.]

—

BANG!

It was as though a ring of pressure fell onto the surroundings. The disciples of Petals of the Seeing Thorn, and even the Thryskai and others they fought, couldnʼt withstand the sheer menace of Sylasʼ Charisma at all.

It was like they were kneeling before a roaring scorpion, a mighty overlord descending from above to crush them like the ants they were.

The only one who seemed capable of remaining on her feet was Lady Mov, but it was at the cost of her own attack slowing.

No, it wasnʼt just that her attack was slowing, but that Sylas was accelerating once again, his Speed having reached a new tier.

A club swung toward a claw, a ring of kneeling former soldiers around them all. Time seemed to slow in Sylasʼ perception and then solidified.

BOOM!

Sylasʼ hand snapped back so hard it nearly ripped out from its socket.

Harsh and sudden, all the momentum he seemed to have built up crumbled in an instant.

Until it suddenly didnʼt.

The shingles on Sylasʼ right hand shattered to pieces as his left hand swung forward. Before his left claw even completed its follow-up, his Rune Spark Mastery had already displayed its might, reforming the right-handed shingles of his Scorpion Warlord Armor.

Lady Mov was used to being wild and unwieldy. When she faced an enemy, even those who were relatively near her in strength, a single swing was enough to make them pause.

For someone far weaker than herself, like Sylas, a single swing—let alone making him pause—should have sent him flying off into the distance.

Yet, not only had it not, but Sylas didnʼt even take a single step back. It was as though he hadnʼt suffered the blow at all.

It didnʼt make any sense. His arm had clearly been blown back, his Armor even shattering. How had the momentum not traveled to the rest of his body?

An illusory green glow suddenly formed around Sylasʼ left claws, increasing its size until his hand almost seemed to be half that of Lady Movʼs enormous body.

CHI. CHI. CHI.

Vicious marks were ripped across her chest, her armor doing little at all to protect her. Even that didnʼt make any sense to her… until she noticed the swirl in Sylasʼ eye.

It could be? He deconstructed the Runes of her Armor? When? How had that happened?

BANG! BANG!

Sylas unleashed a quick double fist, following up his claw with a strike to her liver and then one right down the barrel of her sternum.

She barely coughed up a mouthful of blood when he had already leapt into the air, kicking a shin right along the length of her jaw.

It felt like her head had snapped off her neck, her skull rattling and what remained of her teeth pooling with blood and fine shards of the ones she had just lost.

It was only a few moments in, but she felt like Sylasʼ strength just kept increasing at an astonishing rate. And yet instead of struggling with maintaining the new power, he didnʼt even seem to notice the change at all.

BANG! BANG! BANG!

After the first exchange, Lady Mov didnʼt even have a right to send a second.

Sylasʼ claw ripped into the first gash he made across her side, viciously pulling down and opening up the wound further.

He let go, dodging an attempt to tackle him. Or so it seemed.

Lady Mov lunged at his body, and Sylas pivoted, only to slam into just one of her shoulders.

More shingles of his armor shattered. Using them to negate her momentum, he took her by the arm, pivoting again to her back and ripping it up.

Lady Mov let out a scream as her arm was forcefully dislocated, but Sylas was only just getting started, sweeping out a foot toward her ankle.

The enormous woman found the world spinning around her, her body reaching a point where it was parallel to the ground before Sylas brought down an elbow on her temple.

One relentless attack after another fell, fluidly transitioning from one to the next. Anyone of the wider Skai Galaxy would have immediately recognized it as a Comprehension.

Unfortunately for Lady Mov, whether she knew or not didnʼt make a single ounce of difference.

Knowing or not. E-Grade or not. Prepared or not.

The end result was the same.

Completely and utterly crushed. There was never a chance from the start. BOOM!

A pit was formed in the ground from the body of the Petals of the Seeing Thorn general.

Sylas huffed out a slow breath, sparks of emerald dancing around him.

It really did feel good… it felt good to Be Strong.
