Chapter 2277: Kholomodumo: World Devourer Form V

When players talk about how Equinox fights, they would say different things. Others would say that he lets his powerful soulbounds deal with the enemies. Some would say that he wields powerful weapons that could easily cleave enemies apart. Some would also say that he uses the unknown spells of time and space to destroy his enemies.

Adrian has yet to be filmed with enemies that he goes all out. He has already gone all out against some enemies, but they were not filmed from the perspective of others, nor did he upload what he has. This is the first time that people will see what he could do when he will use everything in his arsenal. The fact that his battle junkie mode has been triggered also plays a part as his smile basically signaled that this is a strong enemy.

The Primordial Beast Kholomodumo: World Devourer is no easy opponent but if there is one thing that they can say is its weakness then it is speed. The enemy moves slow except for the tendrils that are coming out of its body that are relatively fast. The range of motion of the humanoid body seems to be a bit clunky as well because it barely moved despite having large and sturdy legs.

”It is still getting used to its body. I need to capitalize on that weakness for now.” Adrian stated as he vanished from the area.

”Awooo!” Sirius howled as he also released shadows from under him.

[Your soulbound, Sirius, has activated Samaelʼs Domain.]

[Your soulbound, Sirius, has activated his exclusive skill called Alphaʼs Howl.]

[Your attack damage will be increased by 20% for a duration of 10 minutes.]

[Your attacks also have a 10% chance to induce Bleed on the enemy.]

The shadows that Sirius released are met with tendrils that came out from behind the Primordial Beast Kholomodumo: World Devourer. It is like the tendrils of the enemy have a mind of their own as they protected it even without the head looking directly at Sirius. The tendril assault was too much even for Sirius which is why he did not stand still in an area as there are also tendrils that come out of the ground as well.

Sirius dove into the shadow realm once all of the shadows he used were countered by the enemy. This was all a distraction though as a large axe suddenly slammed towards the Primordial Beast Kholomodumo: World Devourer. Adrian is now in a form where he is currently fused with Kimat. The sheer power of this form coupled with Kimatʼs special abilities makes it very destructive.

The axe actually easily sliced through ten layers of tendrils before it got stopped. The power behind Adrianʼs attack is also powerful as he used the same thing he did with Siegfried. He did not expect that he will deal large amounts of damage to the Primordial Beast Kholomodumo: World Devourer but he is a bit shocked that he did nothing at all. Cutting a few tendrils did not even decrease the health of the enemy before them.

As soon as Adrian got stopped in midair, tendrils of the Primordial Beast Kholomodumo: World Devourer started to target him. This would have been a problem if not for the timely assist of the mage unit that Peridot just formed. The sudden blast of magic redirected the attention of the enemy which made Adrian able to vanish using blink.

A lot of players followed up after Adrianʼs failed attempt at dealing damage to the Primordial Beast Kholomodumo: World Devourer. The fact that the guild leader of the Pantheon guild is now going all out made all of the player alliance motivate. Even the Selvaggians got motivated because Adrian looked incredibly cool when he is fused with Kimat. The sight of a demon and beast hybrid oddly made the Selvaggians become riled up.

”I guess normal attacks will not help me. This is much more difficult than I thought since the enemy is also humungous.” Adrian stated but he actually has a smile on his face.

”Kanlaon, are you ready? Kenos, make sure that the Selvaggians do not die as you can focus more on getting them out of trouble.” Adrian commanded as he once again vanished inside of rift.

Adrian once again appeared near the Primordial Beast Kholomodumo: World Devourer but from behind. As if the tendrils sensed danger, a lot of them suddenly shot out from the back of the primordial beast and turned sharp to impale the being that appeared behind it. Adrian did not falter as he actually anticipated this situation, but it is very intense either way.

”Power Orbit! Chrono Shift!” Adrian stated as he cast an ability and a spell.

Adrian suddenly swung his axe like a tornado and also increased the speed using Chrono Shift. The rotational speed of the Power Orbit skill that was already quick suddenly became faster. All of the numerous sharp tendrils that launched at him were either repelled or torn to shreds as the swirling demon axe slammed towards the body of the Primordial Beast Kholomodumo: World Devourer. The primordial beast did not care that Adrian actually hit it as thicker and more robust tendrils suddenly sprouted from its back.

The most terrifying thing is that a mouth suddenly formed from behind the Primordial Beast Kholomodumo: World Devourer. The body of the primordial beast suddenly shifted a bit which twisted its body. The front became the back and vice versa as if the real brain is actually the mouth and wherever it faces then that would be the front. Before Adrian could hit the mouth, he immediately cancelled his skill as two pairs of insect claws suddenly grabbed him from behind.

The large tendrils that were about to capture Adrian got nothing and all the mouth of the Primordial Beast Kholomodumo: World Devourer got to eat was its own tendrils. Adrian appeared a few meters away while about 10% of his mana vanished since Kenos used his mana for that timely save.
