Chapter 2259: Decreasing Wilde World II

”Did it actually devour a world eater and multiplied?!” Elder Ascalor stated as he could see what that mysterious energy of the Primordial Beast Kholomodumo.

”It certainly explains why its eating speed became faster. I think a year would be enough for it to devour the entire realm. Granted that it will no longer multiply as that would just make it much faster.” Elder Koronn added.

”Can we even do something about it when it has the trait of a World Eater? We do have Equinoxʼ soulbound that loves to eat monsters categorized as World Eaters though.” Elder Bronx stated as they all looked at Adrian because they remembered that one of its soulbounds feed on literal world eaters.

”Dodu might like to eat world eaters, but this thing is also a primordial beast. It has powers and abilities that are different than that of a normal world eater. Also, one of them is already difficult to fight against. It also has great mana sensitivity as it targets beings with mana suitable for its growth.” Adrian stated as he was targeted by the Primordial Beast Kholomodumo as soon as it managed to detect the mana flowing inside of his body.

”We can weaken it and then transport lots of fighters to the Wilde but not a lot of beings would care for that world.” Elder Ascalor stated.

”We also need to test some things as well as we do not know how susceptible it is to our magic.” Elder Koronn stated.

”If that is the case then I can test out the abilities of that primordial beast. I always wanted to try and wrestle one myself.” Elder Bronx stated.

”Find a weak spot while you are at it or else killing it would be difficult. World Eater monsters can regenerate a lot as they often store lots of energy in their body.” Elder Koronn added.

”Okay then. I guess I will help Elder Bronx with the investigation on the Primordial Beast Kholomodumo. Someone needs to be bait so he could deliver some attacks.” Adrian stated.

”Why do you think that they will target you?” Elder Ascalor asked with curiosity.

”I have the energy that they want. I have primordial energy in my body which is what the Primordial Beast Kholomodumo is devouring from the Wilde. It is not really eating the world itself because that is its food, but it is eating it due to primordial energy. It is the hidden natural energy that can only be sensed by beings that have it.” Adrian stated.

”Fascinating! I shall come as well since that would make the investigation quicker.” Elder Koronn stated.

”You just want to go with them to check on the habits of that primordial beast. You should stay here and help me with the arrangements. Should the Wilde really get destroyed then that thing will definitely breach the main world. If it reaches the main world then its possibility of becoming bigger becomes higher.” Elder Ascalor stated but Elder Koronn proceeded to ignore the former as he started arranging his things.

”Wait! What do you mean that it will go to the main world should the Wilde gets fully devoured?” The Selvaggian elder asked.

”What do you think will happen when a world eater type of monster devours the realm they are in? Do you think that it will just stay put and hibernate? That could be the case, but that condition is on the basis that it gets full.

If a world eater type of monster like the Primordial Beast Kholomodumo finishes eating but is still hungry, it would then move to the closest realm that it could munch on. Unfortunately for us, the main world is the only adjacent realm of the Wilde. This place would be its next buffet grounds if we do not stop it now.” Adrian explained.

”Then that means that even fleeing here to the main world will not rid us of the Primordial Beast Kholomodumo.” Kabrakan stated as he understood what Adrian meant.

”That is correct. World eater type of monsters will devour and sleep until they are killed. Do you think that the price for the Creation Relic of the Selvaggians is cheap? I calculated that reward based on the fact that danger would also come to this world. It would also take the full force of the Daemos to even defeat that thing.” Adrian stated to which the Selvaggian Elder now know that the demons are not greedy as they have already determined that this will be outcome.

”Then we should start as soon as possible. Delaying any further might lead to a more powerful Primordial Beast Kholomodumo.” Kabrakan stated.

”Even if we need to be quick, you should still calm down. Being too hasty might just be our downfall. We need to strategize as what we lack is information about the Primordial Beast Kholomodumo. Elder Bronx, Elder Koronn, and I will check on the Primordial Beast Kholomodumo and study its attack patterns.

Elder Ascalor would be left here to coordinate the other Daemos on the upcoming attack. Meanwhile, the two of you need to check with the other Selvaggian if they have learned anything about the Primordial Beast Kholomodumo. Any information will be helpful even if they are not completely sure. Is everyone fine with the distribution of work?” Adrian stated as he led the conversation.

”I am fine with it.” Elder Bronx stated.

”I as well.” Elder Koronn replied.

”We shall do our best to check on all of the Selvaggians that were ravaged by the Primordial Beast Kholomodumo. They might have some information that they observed when they were attacked by it.” The Selvaggian Elder stated.

”I shall help the elder as well. I have already encountered the refugees so maybe they have noticed something we did not.” Kabrakan stated.

”I am not fine with mine. I want to also fight against the Primordial Beast Kholomodumo. I mean… I also want to test the strength of the enemy.” Elder Ascalor stated.

”You two should go first. We would need to deal with some discussions.” Adrian stated as he opened a portal that led to the Selvaggian Kingdom.

When the Selvaggian elder and Kabrakan were gone, Adrian then looked at all three elders. Elder Ascalor did not stop protesting that he should be the one accompanying Adrian instead of Elder Koronn. Adrian explained to him that they were not going to fight against the Primordial Beast Kholomodumo but just to study it.

”We are going to check on the fighting capabilities of the Primordial Beast Kholomodumo. Having Elder Koronn will be better because he is very observant and a master of temporal magic. Should it get dangerous, he could easily rewind time to save us.” Adrian stated.

”Are you saying that I am more useless than the lab rat!?” Elder Ascalor stated while he acted like he is about to cry.

”I called it first, Ascalor. Just accept that you were too slow.” Elder Koronn stated.

”Maybe you tampered with time to make sure that you were faster than me! I demand an honorable battle of fists to truly ascertain on who goes.” Elder Ascalor stated as he looked towards Adrian for the decision.

”Fine. If that is what is going to stop everyone from being at each otherʼs throat, then go with that.” Adrian stated as all three elders suddenly looked tense and serious.

All three of them balled their fists as if they were getting ready to punch someone. They looked at each other for a few seconds with burning gazes. Sweat could even be seen trickling down on their face as their battle of fists will now commence.

”Ready!?” Elder Koronn asked.

”I am ready. I hope that both of you are truly ready.” Elder Bronx stated.

”You will not defeat me in a battle of fists. I have trained my life for this.” Elder Ascalor stated as he chuckled.

”Just get over with it. Rock, paper, scissors, shoot!” Adrian uttered as all three of the elders launched their fists. Adrian made sure that no one cheated, and the loser was decided in one match.

”No!” Elder Ascalor lamented as his scissors was met with both rocks from Elder Koronn and Elder Bronx.

”You always go for scissors though.” Elder Koronn stated.

”You have too much faith on scissors. You always use that first when we use this way to decide.” Elder Bronx stated.

”Maybe it has to do with him being a spatial mage that can cut through space.” Elder Koronn stated as if he already knew what hand Elder Ascalor will use.

”It is decided then. Let us now go.” Adrian stated.

”Wait! I want a rematch!” Elder Ascalor stated as he clung to Adrianʼs clothes.

”Do you both want to do it?” Adrian asked Elder Koronn and Elder Bronx as they were the ones that won.

”Fine. This is to make sure that we are not cheating him.” Elder Koronn and Elder Bronx stated as they prepared for another round.
