Chapter 1297 The Hall of Prosperous Beginnings!

When they finally reached the vicinity of the Wealth Mountain, only now did Ace fully understand just how colossal this mountain was; he couldnʼt see the end of it up close, and the mysterious aura of property was even denser.

The mountain was surrounded by an invisible layer of formation barrier which was extremely strong. But Normanʼs ship easily passed the protection formation of the Wealth Mountain because of the special identity emblem engraved on it.

But despite that, they were still quite far away from the mountain, and instead, they flew through a region filled with luxurious buildings and powerful cultivators of elemental states.

According to Norman, this vicinity was the area reserved for Nominal Disciples who were in charge of the minuscule tasks of the sect, and only when they reached the law state and passed the trial by power could they enter the base of the mountain and join the Outer Sect as Outer Sect Disciples.

But this doesnʼt mean those Nominal Disciples were nobodies; in fact, they all belonged to cultivation clans of the Great Prosperity Domain, and the resources at their disposal were something even an inner disciple of a second-grade sect coveted. Furthermore, they were all incredibly young and had talent that could put them in core disciples slots of any second-grade sect. Yet they were willing to endure the hardships to start as Nominal Disciples for a chance to enter the Wealth Mountain. Ace also learned that the PHW King Sect significantly imposed sect rules, and no matter how talented one was, they had to claim the sect ranks with their own efforts and fierce competition. No special treatment was given.

If a disciple joins as a law state, no matter how young or high their talent is, they have to compete with other disciples to earn resources. They were only able to impose their strict policies because of the Sectʼs status and fearsome power.

Furthermore, the sect never lacks talents; no matter what kind of genius emerges, they wonʼt amount to anything if they canʼt even use it. Overall, the PHW King Sect was not a flower garden but a harsh arena where everyone had to fight for their right. Even someone like Norman, a Quasi Lord who could destroy second-grade sects with a flip of his hand, was only a normal Inner Sect Elder of PHW Sect.

As for Ace, he was only given a special pass because of his uncanny human bloodline, and even that was because a powerful human elder used his own quota to have him here.

Although Ace knew there was more to it than Norman was divulging, he didnʼt care much as long as he got to enter this treasure trove. He would take his time to investigate before revealing his fangs.

At this moment, a streak of light suddenly flew towards Normanʼs ship and entered, passing the barrier as if it didnʼt exist.

Normanʼs eyes flashed with surprise, and he waved his sleeve and captured that streak of light. Under Aceʼs astonished gaze, the streak of light turned into countless particles, and Normanʼs expression changed ever so slightly.

He looked at Ace thoughtfully before he said, ”The Prosperity Elder wants me to take you to the Hall of Prosperous Beginnings and register you as an outer sect disciple.”

Surprised, Ace asked, ”So, he doesnʼt want to meet me?”

Norman didnʼt directly reply to this question, instead he ambiguously stated, ”I guess, you need to prove yourself. After all, countless races in the PHW Sect have miraculous bloodlines. Although you would be the first human bloodline cultivator to join the sect, it still remains to be seen where your bloodline stands among those races.

”Although you meet all the requirements to become an outer sect disciple, you havenʼt cultivated the Prosperity Scripture of Wealth yet, and your law is different. So, you need to prove youʼre worth looking after, and I wonʼt be able to help you much.” Ace cocked his brow as he said, ”Would I still be given those promised treasures?” Norman nodded without hesitation, ”Youʼll get them, and you can also use your final chance to earn yourself a higher status. Prosperity Elder will not go back on any promise given to you.”

Aceʼs lips curled up slightly. He got the hidden meaning behind Normanʼs words and said coolly, ”No need. Since they want to see my talent, I better give them a good show.”

Norman smiled approvingly, ”I have great hopes for you and so well the Prosperity Elder. As for the matter of Sky Stealer, you donʼt need to worry about it anymore.”

Ace nodded and didnʼt say anything further. At this moment, they finally reached the mountain.

At the base of Wealth Mountain, were a natural terrain forms a gentle slope, here lies the Hall of Prosperous Beginnings, the grand registration center for Outer Sect

Disciples.

This hall was a sprawling structure carved directly into the mountain, its golden façade reflecting the sunlight like a beacon.

Normanʼs put the ship away as both disembarked it and headed towards the hall.

The Hall was fronted by a massive archway adorned with intricate carvings of mythical beasts and celestial treasures. A radiant sign above the entrance glows faintly, inscribed with the words: ʼWelcome to the Path of Wealth!

Ace instantly felt his mind race when he saw those words because mysterious laws were hidden in them, and they went inside.

Inside, the hall was equally grand, with polished marble floors, walls inlaid with silver and platinum, and chandeliers made of luminous spirit crystals hanging from a

vaulted ceiling.

The hall wasnʼt crowded and filled with spirit Qi flowing gently through the air, giving the space an energizing yet serene ambiance.

Norman led Ace towards a glowing registration desk manned by an elderly man, a blue-haired hunter wearing white robes with the sectʼs golden emblem.

The hunterʼs eyes were closed, but when he saw Norman approaching, his eyes snapped open, revealing cold blue eyes filled with ancient wisdom.

But when he saw Norman, his expression flickered slightly, but he remained in his position and said in a husky and ancient voice, ”Elder Norman, what brings you here? I hope this old man wasnʼt slacking off and had incurred the displeasure of the inner

sect.”

Norman pulled a wary smile as he respectfully bowed and said, ”Steward Jesper, please donʼt tease this junior. No one would dare to question your vigilance. Iʼm here to

register this new talent in the Outer Sect Mountain!”

Ace was shocked when he observed the exchange between the two, and he understood that the old hunter was clearly of higher status than Norman despite being posted in the outer sect.

At this moment, the old hunter, Jesperʼs eyes finally moved on Ace, and Ace instantly

felt his heart tremble as if he felt a terrifying law sense sweep over him. It was so powerful that even he felt goosebumps rising all over his body. This Jesper was too

powerful!
