Chapter 1012 - 1012: HuiQi Jadeʼs Opening Ceremony Part One

She was watching Tang Han Lee opening the bandage on Wen Dingʼs eye. It was one week after the procedure. Wen Ding was resting at her house all this time. Her husband, Mo Jiarong was beside her too.

Tang Han Lee slowed revealed her eye under the bandage. Her eye was still closed. Wen Ding was kind of scared to open her eye.

”Madam, you may open your eye. Slowly.” Tang Han Lee said.

Wen Ding slowly opened her eye. When she opened her eye, she could see her husbandʼs face. Then she smiled and hugged her husband. Tang Han Lee and Yu Qi were also smiling, seeing the couple being happy.

”We need to check something first.” Tang Han Lee said.

”Oh, I am sorry.” Wen Ding sat back waiting for Tang Han Lee to check the condition.

Tang Han Lee checked her condition. He made sure that everything was fine. The mass behind her eye had been removed successfully.

”Everything looks fine to me. If you feel some pain or uncomfortable, please come to the hospital and have it checked.” Tang Han Lee told Wen Ding.

”Thank you, Doctor Tang.” Wen Ding said to Tang Han Lee and turned to Yu Qi. ”Thank you, Doctor Tang. Eh, you have the same surname.” She just realized it.

”Well, he is my brother.” Yu Qi said.

”Oh, really? Anyway, thank you so much. If not for you, I might lose my eye. Thank you so much.” Wen Ding shook Yu Qiʼs hand hard.

...

It was time for the opening of HuiQi Jade. Yu Qi held the opening ceremony. People often went to shopping on the weekend. So, it was a perfect time to start the business. Grandpa Tang, both of her aunties, and Tang Jin Wei were also here to celebrate the ceremony. Both of her uncles and her brothers, Tang Han Lee and Tang Qin Hao had worked. So, they could not come. They just congratulated her over the phone.

Yu Qi invited some friends and acquaintances for the opening ceremony. Many people showed up at the ceremony. She also invited Zheng Zhuxian whom she had met in the stone gambling street.

At first, Zheng Zhuxian was very clueless as for why HuiQi Jade invited her to the opening ceremony. She thought because of her achievement in stone gambling that HuiQi Jade invited her in order to boost the popularity if this new store. But since HuiQi Jade had already invited her, it would be rude to decline the invitation. But she was surprised to see Yu Qi there.

Then she understood that she was invited since Yu Qi knew her. When Yu Qi told her that HuiQi Jade was Yu Qiʼs, she was surprised. No wonder, she saw Yu Qi purchase a lot of stones that day and not sell even one piece of the jade that she got. She was also surprised to see the people whom Yu Qi had invited.

She was so surprised to know Yu Qiʼs true identity and her work. She did not expect that Yu Qi was a doctor. She expected that she was a daughter of a businessman. Yu Qi stood in front of the people. She was about to speak. She smiled at the audience.

”Welcome to HuiQi Jade. Thank you for coming here. Today is a lovely day when HuiQi Jade would start to open its store. As you know, our store is selling jade. You may find many pieces of jade which have been designed into beautiful jewellery as well.

Now, I would like to invite, my Grandpa to cut the ribbon.” Yu Qi called Grandpa Tang to cut the ribbon.

Grandpa Tang walked forward, approaching Yu Qi. He looked handsome with the suit that he wore today. Yu Qi handed out the scissors to Grandpa Tang. So, Grandpa Tang cut the ribbon. There was loud clapping.

”Thank you, Grandpa. So, the store is officially opened to the customers. As for today, we are having a discount of up until 20%. We have also offered everyone to be our HuiQi Jadeʼs member with a purchase of over 10,000 RMB. With the membership, you can enjoy the discount until up 30% until the next purchase.” Yu Qi smiled as she promoted the membership.

”You can look around and enjoy the refreshment that is being offered over there.” She added while pointing to the refreshment section.

With this, the staff opened the door. The store interior design was very modern and luxurious. Yu Qi chose the pearl white colour. Because of that, the piece of jade became more attractive.

Everyone entered and looked around the store. The design of the pieces of jewellery were very beautiful.

”Congratulation, Yu Qi.” Qin Xia came with his secretary, Min Liang.

”Thank you for coming, Brother Xia.” Yu Qi was glad that Qin Xia managed to come here to celebrate, despite his busy schedule.

”You are really impressive.” Qin Xia said.

”It is nothing. Brother Xia is more impressive than me.” Yu Qi smiled.

Qin Xia was happy to see Yu Qi. It had been a while since he saw her. He just heard about her from his secretary.

”Brother Xia, you can look around. If you see something, make sure to buy it.” Yu Qi smiled mischievously.

”Sure.” Qin Xia nodded.

”Yu Qi, I am here.” Feng Yue came with her boyfriend, Xia Zi Qie. ”You have opened another one. When will you stop?”

Yu Qi laughed. ”Welcome. Your grandfather is over there with my Grandpa.”
