I reported you for selling fake medicine. If I stop selling it, why are you crying?

Chapter 312 He Doesn't Look Like That Kind of PersonChapter 312 He Doesn’t Look Like That Kind of Person
The convoy left the city and quickly headed into the deserted mountains and forests.

An hour later, the convoy arrived at a deserted mountain where there was a small lake.

The lake is not big, only about forty or fifty acres.

The lake is like a piece of jasper inlaid in the green mountains. The surrounding mountains are layered and green. The mountain breeze blows, and the leaves rustle.

Such an environment makes people feel calm just by looking at it.

But Cheng Ming and others were not here to enjoy the beautiful scenery.

As soon as they got out of the car, they began to move tools and put on diving suits.

Deng Haiyang and his team are professionals in these matters, and Cheng Ming doesn’t have to do anything except watching from the side.

The six divers quickly put on their diving suits and checked their oxygen tanks and other equipment.

In fact, there is no need to check.

As soon as Deng Haiyang arrived, he used an underwater camera to check. The deepest part of this small lake is only a dozen meters, and it is not very big, so there is basically no danger.

Some brave divers can dive to more than ten meters without any clothes on.

Even if the equipment breaks down accidentally, it can still float up on its own.

”We’re ready,” the divers said separately.

”Okay, let’s get in the water.” Deng Haiyang said.

Six divers slowly walked into the water from the shore.

While the divers were in the water, Deng Haiyang was responsible for coordinating the equipment on shore to prepare for any unexpected situations in which the divers might need help.

But this small reservoir is obviously not prone to accidents.

In less than half an hour, six divers came ashore one after another.

”Deepness below ten meters isn’t very large, just slightly larger than a football field.”

“It’s basically gravel and sand.”

”Forget about the water plants, I didn’t see a single plant!”

”I turned the stone over and looked, but there was nothing there.”

The divers were reporting the situation below in a flurry.

After listening, Cheng Ming said: ”Thank you for your hard work. Let’s pack up and prepare to go to the next lake.”

”The next lake closest to us is Lanping Lake.” Deng Haiyang said.

Half an hour later.

The convoy came to another lake, which was also in the mountains. Its area was much larger than the first lake, covering thousands of acres!

A dam was built on the southeast side of the lake, and there is a building next to the dam.

Everyone parked the car on the path by the lake, got out of the car and prepared their equipment.

As they put on their equipment and prepared to enter the water, a voice sounded beside them: ”What are you doing here?”

Everyone looked in the direction of the sound and saw a man in his sixties, holding a flashlight and a walking stick, standing beside their car and looking at them.

He looked a little impatient.

”Oh, uncle, are you here to look after the reservoir?”

The old man nodded: ”Yes, I am the reservoir manager.”

”We didn’t do anything. We just swam and played with our hands.” Deng Haiyang said with a dry laugh.

”Swimming is not allowed in the reservoir! Let’s go!” the old man said with a serious look.

Everyone was a little hesitant.

Cheng Ming also felt it was a bit troublesome. He didn’t expect that this reservoir actually had an administrator.

Maybe they should come back in the evening?

Deng Haiyang turned around and took out two packs of cigarettes from the car, walked up to the old man, and calmly put the bag of cigarettes into the old man’s hand.

”Uncle! We are actually divers, and we came here to practice diving.”

”Look, we have professional equipment and oxygen. It’s not dangerous.”

When Deng Haiyang was talking to the administrator, he had a smile on his face, and it was obvious that he was very knowledgeable about the ways of the world.

Cheng Ming felt a little bit uncomfortable that a young man in his twenties was so knowledgeable.

The old man took the cigarette and his expression eased a lot.

”It’s not that you can’t have fun, but be careful. Every year people get into accidents at reservoirs, and we’re doing this for your personal safety.”

”Okay, thank you for the reminder, now we understand now.” Deng Haiyang said.

”Don’t stay too long.” The old man said, and turned to leave. Deng Haiyang suddenly called him: ”Uncle, which side of the reservoir is deeper?”

”The east side is basically shallow, only one or two meters, and three meters at most. The west side has more than ten acres of land that is very deep, and the deepest place is twenty to thirty meters. You must not go there, just play here.” The old man reminded everyone again.

Deng Haiyang nodded repeatedly in agreement.

Wait for that old man to go away.

Deng Haiyang waved his hand and said, ”Let’s go to the west.”

Keep working.

Soon, put on your equipment and get into the water.

This time it takes much longer than the previous reservoir.

The divers even used up a bottle of oxygen, came up to change the oxygen, and continued exploring.

After working for a whole morning, it was not until noon that the divers had explored all areas of the reservoir that were more than ten meters deep.

The result is a pity.

Still didn’t find any aquatic plants.

Deng Haiyang even doubted whether the aquatic plants that Boss Cheng described really existed?

In fact, there are very few plants on the bottom of the water that never dries up.

The bottom of a lake like this is basically either sand, mud, or stone, and aquatic plants are only found in shallow water areas.

But Cheng Ming insisted that there was, so Deng Haiyang had to continue.

A team spent a whole day and searched three or four reservoirs in the afternoon, but still did not find a single eel grass.

Beside a reservoir.

The divers had just come up from the bottom of the water, and unsurprisingly they still found nothing.

They all felt a little sorry for the ”Boss Cheng” in front of them.

One day passed.

It cost at least tens of thousands of dollars to hire them, but in the end they didn’t find a single aquatic plant?
”Do you think the boss will get angry and refuse to pay us because we didn’t find what he wanted?”

”Oh no?”

”Hard to say.”

”This boss doesn’t look like that kind of person.”

”Who knows?”

“What if they really don’t give you money?”

”Four thousand dollars a day is a bit outrageous?”

The divers murmured.

Some people began to show a little worry on their faces.

At this time, the other side.

Cheng Ming said to Deng Haiyang: ”It’s getting dark, it’s hard to work, let’s continue tomorrow.”

”Okay.” Deng Haiyang agreed readily.

”By the way, let me pay you today’s wages first.”

After that, Cheng Ming started to transfer money to Deng Haiyang. According to the price agreed upon before, one person would get one thousand yuan per hour, and six people would get eight hours, which would be forty-eight thousand yuan.

Cheng Ming directly transferred 48,000 yuan.

As for how much money Deng Haiyang would give those divers, Cheng Ming didn’t care.

The person was hired by someone else, so he will definitely take a share of the profits. That is his ability, and he makes money based on his ability. Cheng Ming will not interfere.

Deng Haiyang was very happy when he got the money: ”Thank you, Boss Cheng!”

The two of them did not deliberately lower their voices when talking.

The divers over there all heard it. Although there was no expression on their faces, it was obvious that they were just pretending. They were very excited in their hearts.

The boss has paid the bill!
“I really gave you money!!”

”What kind of divine boss is this?”

”I suddenly felt that I was just judging others by my own standards!”

”No, I feel like my work is not worth the money.”

”I must work harder for my boss tomorrow!”
