I reported you for selling fake medicine. If I stop selling it, why are you crying?

Chapter 96 I don’t want to die yetChapter 96 I don’t want to die yet

Sean walked into the clinic almost praying.

The doctor was a middle-aged man in his fifties with a bald head. He was obviously a skilled doctor.

”What’s wrong with you?”

Sean quickly took out the diagnosis written by his family doctor.

”Doctor, I have liver cancer. I have a diagnosis. Can you prescribe medicine for me directly?”

Sean placed a diagnosis letter covered with eagle marks in front of the Mediterranean doctor.

Mediterranean took a quick look and said, ”Although you have a diagnosis, you still need to be re-examined here.”

”No.”

Sean was a little anxious.

In his beacon country, if you go to a public hospital to see a doctor, take an X-ray or have a blood test, you have to wait in line for a week.

After the blood is drawn, it will take another week for the test results to come out.

If we really check it again, his six-day visa period is not enough.

”Doctor, can you make an exception for me?”

”No, that’s the rule.”

The Mediterranean doctor is very methodical.

Sean was very upset after hearing this.

“Alas, my visa is not that long.”

”Are you in such a hurry? You only have one afternoon to do a blood test and an X-ray?”

Mediterranean said as he gave him a checkup.

”How long?”

”All afternoon.”

”oh oh!”

I almost forgot, we are in Dragon Country.

So the doctor wrote a prescription and did the examination.

In the afternoon, he got the long-awaited liver cancer medicine.

In front of the pharmacy.

Sean looked at the bottle of medicine in front of him, opened it and poured out a black pill.

He took a look at the pill. Just looking at its appearance, one could not tell that it could actually inhibit liver cancer.

At this time, Sean’s abdomen was churning and he felt very uncomfortable.

He swallowed a pill without hesitation.

Just sit here in the pharmacy and wait.

After about ten minutes, his symptoms slowly disappeared!

Sean was surprised and delighted.

This medicine actually works!

He is saved!

No need to die!

Sean cried with joy. He suddenly thought of something and rushed to Dr. Mediterranean’s office. He said to the doctor excitedly, ”Doctor! This special medicine is really great! Can you prescribe 20 bottles for me? I want to take it back home!”

But the Mediterranean Sea waved its hand.

”can not open.”

Sean was stunned: ”Why can’t it be opened?”

”This medicine is available in limited quantities and must be purchased with real names. A person can only buy one bottle of medicine in a month.”

”Is that so?” Sean was disappointed.

But I still asked, ”Doctor, does your device not support remote purchase? For example, if I place an order in Lighthouse Country, can you mail it to Lighthouse Country for me?”

There is no way around it.

Unexpectedly, the Mediterranean doctor said: ”Our hospital does not have this service.”

”Please, doctor. I’m from Lighthouse Country. You can’t ask me to take a flight here every month, right? The money for the flight is enough to buy two bottles of medicine. How about this? I’m willing to pay 1,000 MiGold a month, and you can help me get the medicine and mail it to Lighthouse Country.”

One thousand gold a month just to mail a package?
One thousand US dollars is equivalent to more than 7,000 Dragon currency, which is a considerable income.

This deal is quite a bargain.

”Well, since your situation is special, I can personally help with the mailing.”

Mediterranean agreed ”reluctantly”.

”But as far as I know, this drug has not yet been certified by the World Health Organization and cannot be exported. If it is intercepted by customs, we will not be able to refund the money.”

Sean said nonchalantly: ”It’s okay. With the level of our Lighthouse Country customs, they won’t check so carefully.”

After saying that, Sean left with satisfaction.

A few days later, he returned to the Lighthouse Country.

A month later.

Sean got the liver cancer medicine as he wished. The medicine itself costs about 2,400 MiGold, plus the courier fee for hiring a Mediterranean doctor to send it to him, which adds up to a total of 3,500 MiGold per bottle of medicine.

Although 3,500 MiGold is a lot of money compared to ordinary people in Lighthouse Country.

But Sean is a senior software engineer and this money is nothing to him.

What’s more, if it means saving his life, he would be willing to pay not only three thousand five, but even six thousand five!
And this medicine can greatly relieve his pain!

His symptoms have not recurred once in this month.

Apart from the need to take medicine every day, he felt no different from a normal person.

However, you should still check to confirm.

That day Sean came to the clinic of his family doctor, Smith.

Smith looked surprised after giving him a comprehensive physical examination.

”Sean, I never thought that your cancer has not worsened at all. The cancer cells even seem to have fallen into a deep sleep and are completely inactive!”

”Oh my god, what have you done?”

Smith’s words undoubtedly confirmed to Sean that the special medicine was really effective!

More useful than he thought!
He was about to share the news with Smith, but on second thought, he decided to keep it to himself.

”I didn’t do anything, doc. I just stayed positive and exercised every day.”

”Oh, I see.”

Scientific research shows that an optimistic attitude helps fight cancer, and the medical community has indeed conducted this research.

Dr. Smith didn’t think much of it.

”If there’s nothing else, can I go now?”

”Ok.”

”Can you call Amy in from the door? She must have been waiting for a long time.”

”no problem.”

”Thank you.”

When Sean walked to the door of the clinic, he saw a beautiful woman in her thirties, dressed gorgeously, sitting next to him waiting.

Sean’s eyebrows jumped when he saw this beautiful woman.

He found that the woman’s complexion was somewhat similar to his own before he took the medicine.

A sallow complexion usually indicates liver disease.

Wouldn’t she be
”Ma’am, Dr. Smith wants you in.”

”Ok.”

After the woman came in, Sean didn’t leave in a hurry, but stood by the door and waited.

A conversation between two people could be heard inside.

”Ms. Amy, your test results are out. I’m sorry to tell you that it’s confirmed that you have liver cancer.”

”Oh Dr. Smith, can you save me? I don’t want to die yet.”

”I’m sorry, there’s nothing I can do.”

”.”

Hearing this, Sean’s mouth corners slightly raised.

He came outside the clinic, but did not leave. Instead, he stood there waiting.

After a while, Miss Amy came out.

Sean stepped forward and said, ”Ma’am, do you have time to chat?”

Amy looked up at Sean and said, ”I’m sorry sir. Normally I would be happy to go out with you, but I’m not in the mood today.”

”About your illness.” Sean said.

Amy was stunned, then slightly angry: ”Sir, eavesdropping on other people’s conversations is not a gentlemanly behavior.”

”I’m sorry about that.” Sean said, ”But if I say I have a way to control your disease and let you live like a normal person, would you be interested in talking?”

”I can’t believe that a man who looks so handsome is actually a liar?” Amy obviously didn’t believe it.

She was leaving immediately.

”I am also a liver cancer patient.” Sean took out his diagnosis report and showed it to her.

Although Amy didn’t believe him, she subconsciously took the report and checked it to confirm that it was the test report from Smith’s clinic, and that he had indeed just come out of Smith’s clinic.

”Actually, more than a month ago, my complexion was similar to yours now, but you see, my complexion is completely different now, right?” Sean said.

Amy took a closer look at Sean, and indeed he looked very well.

Still, Amy wasn’t quite convinced.

Who knows if he is a professional liar and just used some means to get this diagnosis!

Sean also knew that it was impossible to make this woman trust him completely all of a sudden.

He said, ”It’s okay. There’s still a lot of time. If you need special medicine anytime, just call this number.”

As he said that, Sean stuffed a note into Amy’s hand, then turned around and left in style.

Amy stood there for a long time.
