Investiture of the Gods Xiao Sheng, the Poor Taoist Priest, Even Rogue Cultivators Have Human Rights

Chapter 64 Kunlun trembles, and the second golden immortal of the Chan sect comes into the world!Chapter 64 Kunlun trembles, and the twelve golden immortals of the orthodox teaching enter the world!
When the Saint Zhunti sent Yang Tianyou to Taoshan, another Saint Daoist place in the prehistoric world also erupted with a vast divine sound, and billions of miles of auspicious clouds swept out, covering the mountains, and the profound Dao rhyme surged like a tide, transforming into many Dao scenes such as golden lotus, sky flower, flying fairy, real dragon and unicorn. This is the holy place of Yuanshi Tianzun - Kunlun Mountains!
In the boundless vision, a towering palace stands proudly, its bricks and stones seem to contain the sea of stars, deep and unfathomable.

The Heavenly Saint Yuanshi Tianzun sat in the core of the palace, surrounded by endless rays of light. Only a hazy figure could be seen, exuding an incomparably majestic and cold aura.

Below the palace, the twelve golden immortals including Guangchengzi, Taiyi Zhenren, Yuding Zhenren, as well as the golden immortal Yunzhongzi of Fude, Nan Ji Xianweng, and the deputy leader of the Chan sect, Master Ran Deng Taoist, gathered together.

The elites of the Chan sect gather here.

Yuanshi Tianzun recited the words of the Great Dao, revealing the mysteries of the Way of Heaven. Waves of Dao rhythm surged and fell like the tides. Inside the hall, billions of worlds were born and died in reincarnation, and one universe experienced the four disasters of creation, existence, destruction, and emptiness in an instant. Endless mysteries appeared before the eyes of all the disciples.

Everyone was immersed in it, as if intoxicated.

At this moment, Yuanshi Tianzun was teaching and imparting knowledge. He attached great importance to his disciples and would impart the essence of the Tao to them every once in a while.

Yuanshi Tianzun has a very different personality from Tongtian Jiaozhu. He is particularly picky about his disciples’ aptitude and qualifications, and has always looked down upon those who are ”covered with scales and armor, and born from eggs in moisture.”

Although such stringent standards for selecting disciples resulted in a small number of disciples in the Chan Sect, each of them was extremely powerful, which made Yuanshi Tianzun love them even more.

“To understand the teachings is to be in harmony with the mind of a sage. To be in harmony with the mind of a sage is to forget about both the real and the real, to stop talking about the truth, and only then can one be in harmony with the unspoken truth, and the images will naturally dissolve.”

An unknown amount of time had passed, but as Yuanshi Tianzun uttered his last teaching, the strange phenomena around him suddenly dissipated, and all the disciples woke up from their state of enlightenment.

“Thank you, Master, for your teachings. It gives us the opportunity to listen to the great truth.” Everyone stood up and bowed respectfully.

”Ah.”

Yuanshi Tianzun nodded calmly and was about to speak when he suddenly frowned slightly, his fingers danced rapidly, and countless runes of the Great Dao emerged around his body, rapidly interweaving and changing.

In a short moment, these runes interpreted into billions of forms, and finally froze into a horrifying picture: the vast land was littered with corpses, a sea of blood surging, filled with boundless evil spirits, and powerful immortals and gods fell in it, leaving only deathly silence.

When the disciples saw this scene, they were all shocked, but when they caught a glimpse of Yuanshi Tianzun’s stern face, they all fell silent and held their breath. In an instant, a solemn and quiet atmosphere filled the majestic hall.

After a moment, Yuanshi Tianzun raised his hand lightly, and a light flashed in his palm. Those images instantly disappeared, and his face returned to being as indifferent as water and as deep as the abyss.

It turned out that he had foresight into the future and predicted that the prehistoric world was about to face a catastrophe, and he also knew the fate of his disciples in this catastrophe.

At this moment, he glanced at everyone, his tone calm but firm:

”Since you entered my school, you have all practiced diligently and made achievements. Although the path of cultivation is full of twists and turns, you have already made it through the long journey.”

”It’s a pity that you got involved in the disputes of the mortal world during the era of the Three Sovereigns and Five Emperors, and were tainted with the spirit of killing. Just now, I predicted the future and learned that the prehistoric world will soon face an unprecedented change. Cause and effect will be cyclical, and you may not be able to escape the doom that will befall you.”

When the immortals of the Chan sect heard this, they were all shocked. They had never expected that Yuanshi Tianzun’s prediction would reveal such a cruel truth.

If it were someone else, they might just laugh it off, but Yuanshi Tianzun was a saint of heaven, and once he spoke, heaven and earth would bear witness to his words, so how could they be false? In an instant, the immortals were terrified, and the joy they had felt when they heard the truth of the great way disappeared. They knelt down and begged, ”Master, please save us from the sea of suffering.”

As disciples of the saints, they were highly respected in the ancient world and were aloof from the world. They naturally did not want to die in the catastrophe.

Yuanshi Tianzun responded calmly: ”To avoid this disaster, you have to find someone to bear the disaster for you. You should go down the mountain immediately and recruit disciples.”

”Looking for someone to bear the consequences for us?” Upon hearing this, the immortals looked at each other. They had studied the great Dao in the Chan Sect for many years, and they immediately understood what Yuanshi Tianzun meant with just a few words. They knew what to do and couldn’t help but smile in understanding on their faces.

The immortals secretly breathed a sigh of relief, a relieved smile appeared on their lips, and then they all knelt on the ground and kowtowed: ”Thank you, Master, for your guidance on how to escape the calamity.”

”Ah.”

Yuanshi Tianzun nodded slightly, and his figure disappeared immediately, completely vanishing without a trace.

If Xiao Sheng were here and witnessed this scene, he would surely suddenly realize that in the great calamity of the Conferred Gods, three generations of disciples of the Chan sect were almost wiped out, with only a few survivors such as Yang Jian and Nezha, all because they were actually used by their masters to ward off disaster.

In the eyes of Yuanshi Tianzun, only the Twelve Golden Immortals of the Orthodox Teaching are true disciples, and the other three generations of disciples are just pawns to resist disasters.

After Yuanshi Tianzun left, the Twelve Golden Immortals, Yun Zhongzi, Nan Ji Xianweng and others left in a hurry. They had no time to greet each other and each rushed down the mountain.

However, there was a person in the crowd who was walking leisurely and slowly at the end. This person was Huanglong Zhenren, one of the Twelve Golden Immortals of the Chan Sect.

During the era of the Three Sovereigns and Five Emperors, he seldom took action, so he was not involved in too many karmas, and therefore had no fear of the coming reckoning of karma.

”Humph, each of them is so impatient. They look like immortals who are detached from this world on the outside, but inside they are full of intrigue and deception, with their hands stained with blood. What’s the difference between them and those monsters?” Zhenren Huanglong watched Guangchengzi and his party leave, with a flash of coldness and resentment in his eyes.

Among the many disciples of the Chan Sect, Huang Long is a special case. As the ”wet eggs with scales and armor” that Yuanshi Tianzun despises the most, he has never been favored by him.

Yuanshi Tianzun was very generous to his disciples, giving them all kinds of magic pills and magic weapons, making everyone in the Chan Sect rich. However, Huanglong Zhenren was plagued by ”four nothings”: no magic treasures, no magic beasts to ride, no disciples to inherit, and no blessings to bless him, so his situation was pitiful.

”Forget it. I am not the same kind of person as them. There is no need for me to accept any disciples when I go down the mountain this time. I can just find a place to live happily.” Zhenren Huanglong was indignant.

Having been trapped in Kunlun Mountain for a long time, his temperament became more and more gloomy, and now that he had the opportunity to go down the mountain, he just wanted to indulge himself completely.

At this moment, he recalled the delicious taste of human flesh and blood when he traveled down the mountain in the past. He couldn’t help licking his lips, and a bloodthirsty and hideous sneer flashed in his eyes.

”I heard that there are several large human tribes in the Minjiang River Basin. Let’s go there for a walk when we go down the mountain this time.”

As soon as the thought came to his mind, Zhenren Huanglong’s body shook, and in an instant he turned into a giant dragon a thousand miles long, rushing straight towards the Minjiang River from Kunlun Mountain.
