The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order

Chapter 2324: Meylin’s Redemption Incarnation!

”Redemption Incarnation!” Meylin shouted with every ounce of strength she possessed. At last, she triggered the transformation of her Supreme Race’s lineage.

She hovered in the sky like a fallen seraph reborn, her black hair flowing behind her with subtle starlight glimmers, as though the night sky itself clung to her form. Seven pairs of wings unfurled from her back—not feathered, but vast, divine structures veined with shifting colors that rippled like torn space. Within those wings were sealed gateways to other realms, where the powers of the Seven Sins lay waiting.

When those wings stirred, brief flashes of wrathful crimson, envious green, and prideful gold bled into the air like reflections from other worlds.

Her armor remained dark and elegant, forged to restrain the overwhelming currents of power coursing through her. Blue, ethereal bindings wrapped her limbs and torso, acting as conduits that kept her balanced against the sinful energies threatening to erupt from her soul. Her gaze turned calm yet merciless—the look of someone who commanded sin, rather than someone controlled by it. In that moment, she was a living nexus through which the Seven Sins converged.

Atena’s eyes sharpened. She could feel the sheer immensity of the transformation. Even more alarming were the cosmic rules flowing through the True Depravita—rules that instinctively triggered warnings throughout Atena’s mind.

She clenched her fists as obsidian energy began coating both arms, reinforcing their resilience and multiplying their strength, showing how serious she took this fight.

The two women locked onto one another. For a moment, everything else fell away—no forest, no sky, no volcanic terrain—nothing but the other standing before them. Then both launched forward with overwhelming power.

”BOOM. BOOM. BOOM. BOOM. BOOM. BOOM.”

Explosion after explosion echoed as fist and sword collided, each strike releasing shockwaves that tore great chunks of stone out of the ground beneath them. The landscape shook and ruptured.

Atena displayed frightening skill—dodging several of Meylin’s sword strikes and blocking the ones she could not evade. The resilience of her body was overwhelming; even under the sundering force of the dual swords, Hell and the Abyss, Meylin managed to carve only shallow cuts into Atena’s obsidian-reinforced skin.

But physical damage was only part of what a True Depravita inflicted. With every successful incision, psychic energy coursed from Meylin’s blade into Atena’s consciousness, trying to erode her mind and corrode her soul. Yet Atena’s mental defenses held firm—just as impressive as her physical ones. She endured without losing focus, showing not a single crack in her psyche.

Meylin’s speed and strength rose exponentially, but she was still receiving damage in return. Every time those obsidian arms reached her, they snapped bones and tore flesh. Yet she regenerated as quickly as she was wounded. Despite the sustaining damage, she did not slow down—in fact, her wings glowed brighter, her power rising in violent steps.

Her battle style shifted with each exchange. The power of the Original Sins poured into her body—making her faster, stronger, and more ruthless. She drew upon the surrounding energy, feeding it into her muscles and into the sharpened edge of her twin swords. Because her movements came from a chaotic rotation of sin-based instincts rather than conscious choice, Atena’s mind-reading ability failed to predict them. Meylin herself didn’t know which pattern would manifest next.

The two women hammered at one another with escalating ferocity, until Atena finally found an opening. Her hand pierced straight into the True Depravita’s chest.

But instead of shock or fear, a bloody smile spread across Meylin’s lips. Her muscles tightened around Atena’s embedded arm, locking her in place and preventing a retreat.

Her wings ignited with power, channeling the energy of seven sealed realms into her blades. Meylin unleashed everything she had at point-blank range.

The strike landed directly, blasting Atena backward and sending her spiraling through the air before the torrent of power twisted into a tornado of destructive energy, attempting to engulf her completely.

The violet-eyed woman clenched her teeth, ignoring the fresh wounds torn open across her body. Obsidian energy erupted outward in a violent surge as she attempted to break free. But before she could escape, the Enlightened One appeared.

He stood directly above the tornado, and the manifestation of a massive golden Buddha materialized before him. He had not been lying idle. While the two women clashed, he devoted every remaining drop of his physical and spiritual strength into one final technique—keeping his mind empty to avoid thought-reading, taking Atena entirely by surprise as he released everything he had with a downward sweep of his staff.

The strike not only launched Atena into the ground below, but also dragged the tornado down with her. The result was a colossal explosion that shattered the volcanic landscape, blowing apart entire shelves of molten earth. Given the nature of the Origin Island, a blast of that magnitude was staggering. The land shook for nearly a full minute before it finally settled.

When the smoke cleared, Atena rose slowly from the ruined ground. Her eyes burned with cold intensity. Her body was covered in wounds—cuts, fractures, burns, and distortions where Depravita-charged energy had drilled into her bones. Yet despite all of that, there was no decline in her battle intent.

However, when she scanned the area, she could no longer see Meylin or the Enlightened One.

The coldness in Atena’s gaze deepened. She raised one hand toward her face, energy rising higher and higher. But before she triggered whatever technique she was preparing, she stopped. She exhaled slowly and forced herself to calm down. Her heartbeat returned to normal. The obsidian skin receded from her body.

She remained covered in open wounds, but when she relaxed and allowed the energy of the island to flood into her flesh, those injuries began to heal. It was not instant regeneration, but it was efficient; it looked as though a few hours would be enough for her to return to full peak.

”I should search for the others,” Atena murmured. ”Maybe they can give me answers.”

With her objective set, she vanished into the distance.
