Chapter 188 Linjiang Missile Destroyer Launched [Codename 077]Chapter 188 Linjiang Missile Destroyer Launched [Codename 077]

Lin Chenran understood the difficulties faced by the Yan State military.

But even though we understand it, we still have to make the money we deserve.

”After we design, develop and manufacture the Dragon Shadow fighter, you can place your order!”

”I also don’t ask you to invest in our 077 Mechanical Military Factory’s Dragon Shadow Fighter Project.”

Lin Chenran said this very generously.

The main thing is that we have found a financial sponsor, and the funds for the research of the Dragon Shadow fighter jet are secured, without the need for financial investment from the Yan State military.

Hearing this, the corners of Wei Lao’s mouth slightly raised, and a smile spread across his face: ”You are good, kid!”

“Very good!”

No need to invest funds in the 077 Mechanical Military Factory for the research and development of the Dragon Shadow fighter jet, which will reduce the burden on the Yan State military.

”Mr. Wei, there is something I need you to inform Mr. Zhang from the navy.” Lin Chenran said mysteriously with an elusive smile on his face.

”Do you have something to tell Old Man Zhang? Can’t you just call him directly? Do you want me to convey it?” Old Wei asked with a puzzled look on his face.

Lin Chenran smiled and said softly: ”It’s nothing, actually. It’s just that the Aegis missile destroyer is about to be launched.” His tone was relaxed and cheerful.

”The Aegis missile destroyer is about to be launched? So soon?” Old Wei exclaimed in surprise, his eyes wide open.

Lin Chenran smiled and nodded, explaining, ”Yes, it’s been more than a year. If we don’t launch it, the navy will be dissatisfied again. They have been waiting for a long time.”

The Aegis missile destroyers of the Yan Navy and others have all become ”husband-waiting stones”.

The Yan State Navy has always faced the problem of lack of large naval warships and can only conduct near-shore cruises.

This limits the strategic options and scope of action of the Yan Navy, making their voice in international affairs relatively weak.

Previously, the Monkey Kingdom provoked Yan Kingdom in its waters and occupied Yan Kingdom’s islands. Although the Yan Kingdom’s navy dispatched warships to drive the other side away, the deterrent effect was insufficient.

The Aegis missile destroyer joins the navy.

The strength of the Yan Kingdom Navy has been greatly improved
It will deter neighboring countries and prevent them from provoke themselves easily.

”Why don’t you tell Old Man Zhang the good news yourself?” Old Wei asked with a puzzled look on his face.

”Uh...” Lin Chenran was speechless for a moment.

”Just tell him by the way!” Lin Chenran said with a grin.

”If you don’t want to, then I have to tell him!” Lin Chenran smiled secretly in his heart.

In fact, this was Lin Chenran’s prank.

He wanted to see how Mr. Wei was going to whet Mr. Zhang’s appetite. When he thought of this, he couldn’t help laughing out loud.

”You little bastard, don’t I know what you are planning?”

Old Wei cursed fiercely, his voice full of anger and dissatisfaction.

”I won’t let you get your wish. Go and tell Old Man Zhang about the upcoming launch of the Aegis missile destroyer. I will also be there to witness this important moment with you.”

Mr. Wei’s tone was firm and decisive, and he obviously did not intend to let Lin Chenran get his way.

Hearing this, Lin Chenran felt as if someone was pinching his throat.

”This……”

”That……”

Just then, a crisp ”beep, beep, beep” sound came from the telephone receiver, indicating that Mr. Wei had hung up the phone.

Lin Chenran hung up the phone gently and muttered, ”I still haven’t fooled Mr. Wei. I want to see the two old men arguing.”

”It’s over, there’s nothing to watch!”...

Since Mr. Wei is unwilling to help, Lin Chenran can only call Mr. Zhang, a senior naval official.

”Dudududu!”

A phone rang.

After a while, Mr. Zhang answered the phone, and Lin Chenran informed the other party that the Aegis missile destroyer was about to be launched, and asked whether the Yan State Navy had a specific time for delivery.

When Mr. Zhang heard this, he was very excited and told a time.

……

A week passed in a flash, and Lin Chenran led several senior leaders from the 077 Mechanical Arsenal and set out on the journey to their own 704 Shipyard.

At the same time, the lineup of the Yan State Navy is even more eye-catching.

Many important naval high-ranking officials showed up to witness this historic moment together - the launching ceremony of the domestically-made large missile destroyer!
Lin Chenran accompanied a group of Yan State naval leaders, and from time to time introduced to them the Aegis missile destroyers that were carefully designed, developed and manufactured by his own 704 Shipyard.

He explained every detail in detail, from the ship structure to the weapons and equipment, to the electronic system.

The Yan Nation’s naval leaders listened very carefully, nodded frequently in agreement, with strange lights flashing in their eyes.

At this moment, their hearts were filled with anticipation and pride.

For the Yan State Navy, this moment was hard-won.

For many years, they have longed to have their own advanced warships, but have never been able to do so.

Now, they have finally welcomed the entry of their own large warships, which is undoubtedly a huge breakthrough.

”Mr. Lin, thank you very much for your 704 Shipyard for designing and developing such an outstanding missile destroyer for our navy.” A senior naval official of Yan Country excitedly shook Lin Chenran’s hand and expressed his gratitude sincerely.

Lin Chenran smiled and responded: ”This is what we should do. We feel extremely honored to contribute to the country’s coastal defense. We hope that this missile destroyer can become a powerful assistant to the navy and safeguard the security of the motherland’s sea borders.”

Lin Chenran behaved very humbly. He knew very well that the senior naval officer in front of him was an old revolutionary of the same generation as his grandfather. Therefore, he showed respect and honor to the other party as a junior.

Next is the important item of the launching ceremony of the Aegis missile destroyer.

“Throw the bottle!!!”

Lin Chenran signaled several bigwigs from the Yan State military to come forward to perform the ”bottle-breaking” ceremony and lift the red cloth.

And I have retreated to the second line!
The Yan Country’s naval leaders did not shirk their responsibilities and stepped forward to take action.

When the red cloth was lifted, the first Aegis missile destroyer (052D) was named: Linjiang, codenamed 077
This is to recognize the contribution of the 077 Mechanical Arsenal to this Aegis missile destroyer.

At first, the Yan State Navy used 077 as the sequence of the Aegis missile destroyer, but Lin Chenran refused.

He felt that designing, developing and manufacturing an excellent missile destroyer for the country was what their military workers should do.

Well deserved!

However, the military leaders of Yan State unanimously felt that they deserved it and it was what they deserved!

The 077 Mechanical Arsenal has made important contributions to the renewal of Yan Country’s armaments.

This is not only Lin Chenran’s personal honor, but also the honor of all employees of the 077 Mechanical Arsenal.

Since all the Yan State military leaders said so, Lin Chenran could only accept it.

And all the employees of the 077 Mechanical Arsenal truly deserve it.

……

The first Aegis missile destroyer has been launched, and the next step is to discuss the launching of subsequent warships.
