Building a Technological Power Starting with the Type 59 missile and Going Astray in Technological Development

Hearing this, Lin Chenran raised his lips slightly, revealing a confident smile, and responded: ”Abdul, the Baidi stealth fighter independently developed by our 077 Mechanical Military Factory will definitely not disappoint you or anyone else!”

This is the moment he has been waiting for!
After he finished speaking, he quickly turned around and winked at Meng Chunping beside him.

Meng Chunping nodded in understanding, then took a deep breath, organized his thoughts, and prepared to begin introducing in detail to everyone this advanced fighter jet that embodied countless efforts and wisdom.

Meng Chunping simply clicked the remote control in his hand, and a huge and clear picture of the Baidi stealth fighter appeared in front of everyone.

In an instant, the entire conference room was attracted by the cool appearance of the fighter jet, and people couldn’t help but exclaim in admiration.

The smooth lines, sharp shape and unique aerodynamic layout of the Baidi stealth fighter all demonstrate its outstanding performance and leading technological level.

It is like a bird of prey soaring in the sky, exuding unparalleled majesty and dominance.

Especially the silver-gray body, which sparkles with mysterious light under the light, as if it is a product from the future world.

The representatives of the Saudi country in the Camel Region opened their eyes wide, their gazes fixed on the simple map, unable to move away even a little bit.

They were deeply shocked by the advancement and coolness of the Baidi stealth fighter, and murmured to themselves: ”This is really too cool!”

”It’s beyond imagination! Can such an advanced design really be manufactured?”

Some people even couldn’t help but stand up to appreciate this breathtaking picture more closely.

Members of the Saudi delegation in the Camel region were very fond of a Baidi stealth fighter.

They can’t wait for this Baidi stealth fighter to be manufactured as soon as possible so that they can purchase it.

Immediately afterwards, before reaching the camel area, the members of the Saudi delegation were filled with emotion.

Meng Chunping continued to explain his own Baidi stealth fighter.

The design adopted by the Baidi stealth fighter is extremely complex. It integrates many advanced technologies such as lifting body, DSI air inlet (that is, three-dimensional bulge-type boundary layer-free air inlet), full-moving canard, large side strips, tailless delta wing and full-moving vertical tail.

Among them, the DSI intake duct cleverly simulates the first and second level adjustable inclined plates in the conventional intake duct through a fixed bulge, thereby achieving effective compression of the airflow.

This type of inlet has many significant advantages: first, it adopts a unique ”conical flow” wave-riding design, which can greatly improve the total pressure recovery level;

Second, it significantly reduces the drag on the windward side of the aircraft, thereby greatly enhancing the stealth performance of the aircraft;

Thirdly, since there is no need to design auxiliary air inlet valves and air vents, and the boundary layer separators have been successfully eliminated, the aircraft can be reduced in weight by up to hundreds of kilograms, which undoubtedly greatly reduces the structural weight of the aircraft.

In summary, the DSI air inlet structure is simpler, which not only reduces the overall weight of the fighter, but also significantly reduces the friction resistance with the air during flight, ultimately greatly improving the stealth capability of the fighter.

The combat effectiveness has also been qualitatively improved.

Compared with the Eagle Sauce’s Nighthawk stealth fighter, the Baidi stealth fighter is incomparable.

In terms of various performance aspects, it directly beats the latter.

In terms of stealth, Baidi stealth fighter wins!
In terms of the number and weight of missiles carried, the Baidi stealth fighter wins!
In terms of flight speed, the Baidi stealth fighter wins! Of course, in terms of research and development difficulty, the Baidi stealth fighter is also much more difficult than the Eagle Sauce Nighthawk F117 stealth fighter.

Afterwards, Meng Chunping began to explain in detail the impressive basic parameter configuration of the Baidi stealth fighter with a smile.

His voice was clear and loud, as if every number contained endless power and technological charm.

The first thing that caught everyone’s eyes was the captain’s data - a full 21 meters long!
This length not only highlights its huge body, but also implies the complex and sophisticated internal structural layout.

Soon after, the wingspan data was also revealed. The wings, which are a full 13 meters wide, are as majestic as a roc spreading its wings.

Looking at the wing area, it reaches an astonishing 78 square meters. Such a wide wing undoubtedly provides strong lift support for the aircraft.

However, this is just the tip of the iceberg. When it comes to the weight of the aircraft, people are once again amazed.

The empty weight is as high as 19.4 tons, and the maximum take-off weight has soared to a whopping 40 tons!
The momentum displayed by such a heavyweight player soaring in the air is enough to shock people.

As a top-level stealth fighter, speed is naturally one of its key indicators.

The maximum flight speed of the Baidi stealth fighter can easily break the limit of the speed of sound and reach between 2.2 and 2.5 Mach.

Imagine the scene of it flying through the sky like lightning. How spectacular and shocking it would be.

The 077 Mechanical Arsenal has an even more ambitious plan - they plan to equip the Baidi stealth fighter with a modified version of their self-developed Shenniao aviation engine.

According to the ideas of experts including Lin Chenran, the size of this carefully improved Shenniao aviation engine will be greatly reduced compared to the same engine previously used in the H-6 modified bomber.

The subtlety of this design lies in that it can not only ensure sufficiently strong power output, but also effectively reduce the overall weight of the aircraft, thereby further improving the maneuverability and combat effectiveness of the Baidi stealth fighter.

At this time, Meng Chunping had a playful smile on his face, and said to the people present half-jokingly: ”Hey! Dear Abdul, and all the friends present, I am about to announce the basic parameters of the Nighthawk F117 stealth fighter that the Eagle Sauce is proud of.”

He paused, cleared his throat, then raised his voice and said confidently: ”I believe that after such a detailed data comparison, everyone will be able to deeply appreciate how advanced and outstanding the Baidi stealth fighter produced by our own 077 Mechanical Military Factory is!”

Then, he added with a smile: ”We spent a lot of effort to find out these parameters. As for how accurate they are... hehe, it’s hard to say, but it can at least serve as a reference for everyone, right?”

As soon as he finished speaking, the entire conference room erupted in laughter as if firecrackers were lit.

In this cheerful and relaxed atmosphere, Meng Chunping no longer kept everyone in suspense. He took a deep breath and began to explain to everyone in detail the basic parameters he had obtained about the Nighthawk F117 stealth fighter.

He pointed at the data displayed on the projection screen and read out clearly: ”First, let’s take a look at the length of this plane, which is 20.08 meters long. Then take a look at its height, which is 3.78 meters. And its wingspan is 13.20 meters. Its wing area is 84.8 square meters. Its aspect ratio is 2.05.”

He paused for a moment, drank a sip of water to moisten his throat, and then continued: ”Let’s take a look at the weight of this aircraft. Its empty weight is only 13 tons, but its maximum take-off weight is only 23 tons.”

”Finally, we have to mention its flight speed, which can reach up to Mach 0.9! How about it, isn’t it amazing?”

Meng Chunping’s counter-sarcasm made the previous worries disappear from the faces of everyone present.
