The remaining three fleeing soldiers quickly came to their senses, raised their guns and prepared to look for the enemy.

boom! ! !
The next second, another gunshot rang out, and another defeated soldier fell to the ground.

The other two were so scared that they dropped their guns.

The man knelt directly on the ground, kowtowed, and kept begging for mercy.

Because they didn’t even see where the enemy was.

A moment later, a tall man wearing a khaki military uniform, holding a large rifle and carrying a machine gun on his back appeared in front of the two fleeing soldiers.

The two defeated soldiers were terrified when they saw the tall man in front of them with a murderous look on his face.

He immediately kowtowed and kept begging for mercy.

”You two useless bastards, get out of my way and don’t run. Whoever dares to run will be shot by me.” Zhang Erhu said angrily.

He never expected that after he had finally found out the news about his elder brother and mother, he just arrived and saw his elder brother being knocked to the ground by several defeated soldiers.

I was so angry that I almost passed out.

How could this not make Zhang Erhu angry?

The reason why we didn’t kill these two defeated soldiers was because they begged for mercy quickly, otherwise they would have been shot twice.

”Erhu, you...you’re back?”

”Mom, it’s me, I’m back.”

”And my sister-in-law.”

”Let me check on my brother first.”

As he spoke, Zhang Erhu squatted down to check on the condition of his elder brother Zhang Dahai.

After the examination, he confirmed that Zhang Dahai had fainted due to long-term hunger and the attack he had just suffered, and he breathed a sigh of relief.

Then Zhang Erhu immediately ran to his mother.

Mother Zhang almost fainted just now.

However, after Zhang Erhu fired the first shot, the deserter who had just pointed a gun at his eldest son died.

Zhang’s mother immediately calmed down.

Seeing that his second son was still alive, his face showed excitement and joy.

”Two Tigers.”

”mother.”

”I’m so glad you’re okay. When you got lost, your eldest brother and I waited for you for two days but you didn’t come back. We thought something had happened to you.”

”Where on earth have you been, kid? Do you know how worried your mother is?”

When Zhang Erhu heard this, tears appeared in his eyes and his face was full of guilt.

”Mom, let me treat my brother’s wound first. Oh, I brought you some food.”

”Sister-in-law, this is some food I brought back. It’s called compressed biscuits. They’re a little hard. Crush them and mix them with some hot water to feed my mother. I’ll wake up my brother first.”

”I have some medicine on me. Big brother’s condition looks scary, but it’s actually nothing serious.”

A broken nose is not a big deal, at least in this era.

As long as no one dies and the patient recovers after nursing, it is naturally not a big deal.

Soon, Zhang Dahai woke up.

I was also very surprised to see my brother come back suddenly.

But he also found that Zhang Erhu had changed.

He seems to be a little taller and much stronger than half a month ago.

Zhang Erhu used to be very thin.

Now he is as strong as a little tiger cub. As the eldest brother, how could he not see it?

Afterwards, the people in the Zhang family ate compressed biscuits while listening to Zhang Erhu telling his story.

Zhang Erhu got lost from his family.

He fainted from hunger in a mountain. Luckily for this guy, Jiang Hao happened to be passing by with his men, and he found him and rescued him.

After that, he followed Jiang Hao. After Jiang Hao expanded the war boys, he was selected and was given the Flesh Spirit Pill by Jiang Hao, and he became a war boy.

After Jiang Hao assigned them the task, Zhang Erhu immediately thought of chasing his family.

As for Jiang Hao’s mission.

You can do it while you are looking for someone to join.

Jiang Hao gave them the task of bringing back a thousand people each.

There were not many compressed biscuits, so Jiang Hao didn’t give them many. He just gave each of them ten packs of compressed biscuits.

But they were asked to carry two large bags of rice each.

It weighs three hundred kilograms in total.

Jiang Hao’s food supply is not particularly scarce at the moment, so he can spare some for the war boys to use to lead the disaster victims to Lao Zhuang Village.

After all, it is very difficult to get people to follow you just by talking nonsense.

Especially since Henan is suffering from a drought right now, if you choose to follow Zhan Tong, you might get cheated and starve to death.

Therefore, it is impossible to bring people back without allowing them to bring food.

As for the 300 kilograms of food, for the strengthened war boy, it is no different from an ordinary person carrying a backpack filled with books. There is no pressure at all.

After explaining these things to my family.

Zhang Erhu asked his sister-in-law and eldest brother to open the two bags of rice and supervise the two defeated soldiers to cook.

He simply invited the disaster victims nearby to come over for dinner.

At the same time, tell them about the affairs of Lao Zhuang Village.

”Fellow villagers, my Lord God General is a god from heaven who has come to save the common people. As long as you follow me, I promise you will not starve to death.”

”And no one will dare to bully you anymore.”

”I know everyone hasn’t eaten in a long time.”

”This time I brought 300 kilograms of rice. The rice will be cooked in a while. Each of you can bring a bowl to me. The amount of rice I brought is limited, so I can’t fill everyone up.”

”But if the villagers follow me to Laozhuang Village, I will ensure that everyone will have enough to eat.”

Zhang Erhu stood on a relatively high rock and spoke loudly to the people around him.

As for what Zhang Erhu said, some people believed it, while others scoffed at it and simply did not believe that there were any so-called gods in this world.

Of course, more people’s eyes were on the several pots and the two large bags of rice not far behind Zhang Erhu.

”Isn’t that the second son of the Zhang family? How come he is so strong now, and he seems to have grown taller too.”

”It seems that he is really the second son of the Zhang family, but I remember that he was not like this half a month ago.”

Someone in the crowd recognized Zhang Erhu.

Most people who flee disasters will flee with people from the same village so that they can take care of each other on the way.

Therefore, there were also fellow villagers among the victims who knew Zhang Dahai’s family.

If you know Zhang Dahai, you will naturally know Zhang Erhu.

”From what he said, it seems like he has been blessed by the gods to become what he is now.”

”When he came just now, wasn’t he carrying two large bags of rice?”

”It must have weighed several hundred kilograms, but he carried it all by himself, and he looked so relaxed.”

”If you ask me to carry a bag, I don’t think I can even carry it. I remember that guy was as thin as me before.”

”So, that immortal coming down to earth might be true?”

”I guess it’s true. Otherwise, where would Zhang Erhu get the food? Didn’t you see that his elder brother and his mother are almost starving to death?”

”If Zhang Erhu had been able to get food earlier, his elder brother and mother would not have starved like this.” said an old man from the same village.

An old house where a treasure.

Ordinary people are never stupid. At most, they are narrow-minded, uneducated, and ignorant. If you say they are stupid, then it only means that you are not well-informed either.

And for an old man in his sixties or seventies, how can he be a simple person?

Those who don’t have observation skills and brains basically starve to death.
