Chapter 104: New Mission, 1942Chapter 104: New Mission, 1942 (4 more chapters, please subscribe to monthly ticket)
Coming out of the hotel bathroom, Jiang Hao acted as if nothing had happened.

After all, it took him less than a day to complete this mission.

This was the fastest mission he had ever carried out.

After playing in Damao Country for another week, Jiang Hao and his friends boarded a plane to Sanmao Country.

This time, Jiang Hao did not wait until the tenth day. On the eighth day after returning from his previous mission, he received another commissioned task.

[In 1942, a drought in Henan killed millions of people. In history, it is just a number, but at that time, it represented a purgatory on earth. Add to that the invasion of the Japanese, what would you do if it were you?]

[Ding, main mission: save the people]

[Reward: one point for each person rescued (this main mission is a cumulative mission, the host can decide the settlement time by himself, and the mission can be submitted after saving one person. After the mission is completed, you will be forced to return immediately)]

1942, one of the few movies directed by Feng Dapao that Jiang Hao likes.

The story is told from the perspective of the family of old landlord Fan Dianyuan during the Republic of China period.

Fan Dianyuan is a smart old landlord. After several generations of hard work, he has a rich family background and his family is the richest in the village.

Have a son and a daughter.

If there were no drought or famine, his family might have lived a good life.

But drought and famine happened.

A refugee was begging for food.

The son was killed, the compound was burned, and the food was stolen.

In the end, Fan Dianyuan and his family had to flee the famine with the refugees. Although they were fleeing from famine, at least they had some assets with them, so it could be considered as escaping from a disaster.

But in troubled times, accidents always happen one after another.

The bombing by the Japanese planes, the looting by the Kuomintang bandits, and the fact that some villains took advantage of the chaos to make a fortune and reap benefits for themselves.

In the end, Fan Dianyuan’s property and food were robbed, his wife and daughter-in-law starved to death, and his servant Shuanzhu was accidentally separated from him and died at the hands of the Japanese.

Although the daughter did not die, she sold herself to get some food so that Fan Dianyuan and his granddaughter could survive.

Fan Dianyuan was indeed alive, but he was also dead.

The ending of the movie is tragic.

The tragedy of Fan Dianyuan’s family shows how miserable the ordinary people were at that time.

Fan Dianyuan was a big landlord after all, and his life was okay at the beginning, with some food.

And what about ordinary people?
Before the start of the movie, many people probably starved to death.

In the movie, the words of Huazhi, the blind deer’s wife, ”A life is worth two biscuits”, left a lasting impression on Jiang Hao. Every time he thought of the movie 1942, he would think of these words.

Afterwards, Jiang Hao took on the task.

After accepting the mission, Jiang Hao talked to his parents and Zhou Xi and the others, saying that he was going out to buy some things and would be back in an hour, and asked them not to run around in the hotel.

Jiang Hao then left the hotel alone.

After deducting the points that were used up from the remaining points in the Never-Ending World and the points obtained from the Horrifying Cannibals, Jiang Hao now has a total of 280 points left.

280 points, Jiang Hao reserved points as a backup.

The remaining 240 points were all used to expand the personal space.

The portable space has been expanded from 6 cubic meters to 30 cubic meters.

With Jiang Hao’s current abilities, as long as he is given enough time, he can kill all the Japanese invaders who invaded Daxia by himself.

Especially now that he has the Devil’s Thorn, he can kill millions of Japanese devils in just a few years or decades.

But the problem is that this time the mission is to save the people.

The Japanese must be killed, but you want to complete the mission and get as many points as possible.

It’s not enough to just kill the Japs.

He also needs food and medicine.

Especially food.

In disasters, food saves lives.

In times of war, medicines also save lives.

Both of these things are indispensable.

This time, Jiang Hao came out to buy food and medicine.

Medicines are mainly antibiotics (penicillin), followed by some medicines for treating colds, fevers and influenza.

In wartime, even a cold or flu can kill people if it is not treated.

As for food, Jiang Hao mainly purchased military compressed biscuits.

This thing is thick, durable, tastes good, and is nutritious. One piece is enough for a normal adult to have energy for a day. In times of famine, if you eat one piece sparingly, it is enough for a person to eat for several days.

As for buying seeds, Jiang Hao had considered this.

But it was a disaster year and the land was dry, so no crops could be grown. It would be useless even if one brought seeds.

Moreover, although there was a famine in Henan in 1942, the world as a whole was not so short of food, especially for major grain-producing countries.

As long as you have money, you can buy a lot of food from major grain-producing countries.

Those who have no food are just ordinary people at the bottom of society.

So for Jiang Hao, he doesn’t need to bring grain seeds, he only needs to bring finished food.

Military compressed biscuits are the first choice.

In the 21st century with abundant resources, military compressed biscuits have long been commercialized and even ordinary people can buy them.

Jiang Hao was not short of money, so he quickly bought what he needed.

Jiang Hao bought 31 tons of compressed biscuits, which took up 20 cubic meters of space.

Of the remaining 10 cubic meters, 4 cubic meters were used to store gold, 5 cubic meter was used to store his black armor, and of the remaining 4 cubic meters, 1 cubic meters were used for medicines, and cubic meter was used for some guns and bullets.

These were what he collected in the mission world.

In the real world, he has never purchased arms in order to avoid unnecessary trouble.

Because Jiang Hao hopes that his life in the real world can be relatively ordinary.

He didn’t want to complete the side quests in the mission world and then return to the real world where he would have to compete with others in wits and courage. That would be too troublesome.

After everything was ready, Jiang Hao found a shopping mall nearby, then found a private bathroom and went in.

Then entered the world of consciousness.

........................

As soon as he regained consciousness, the first thing Jiang Hao smelled was a smell of burnt coal.

At the same time, a familiar voice sounded in my ears.

With a Henan accent.

”Boss Lao Fan never believed in God his whole life. He was told to believe, but he didn’t. He lost the Lord’s blessing and ended up like this.”

”Look, what’s the use of having a fortune?”

”His son was killed and his house burned down, so he hid in the county town and cried. He would not cry until he saw the coffin or the Yellow River.”

boom! ! !
”oops.”

”Who?”

”Who threw me?!” An Xinman touched his face, looked at a broken shoe on the ground, and shouted loudly.

”Me!” A powerful voice sounded.

Jiang Hao’s tall figure stood up.

”Isn’t this the fool from the old Jiang family?”

”Why doesn’t he look stupid?”

”Keep your voice down. The Jiang family idiot is so big. If he hears you, you will be in trouble.”

”When he was a fool, he could beat several people at once.”

”Then why are you calling him a fool? Aren’t you afraid of being heard?”

”Hey, keep your voice down.”

Jiang Hao heard these words but didn’t take them seriously. There was no point in arguing with a group of ordinary people.

And this time, his identity in this world is indeed that of a fool.

This time, the system assigned him the identity of a fool, or rather, he was a fool before.

His parents died young, but because he was born with a good physique, he grew up very strong even though he ate little.

Although he is stupid and dull, the villagers know that he is strong and would ask him for help with work on weekdays. They would also invite him to eat if they asked him for help.

But I didn’t starve to death.

Just survived in a daze.

The place where Jiang Hao is now is the Lao Zhuang Village, Wangloulangxi, where Fan Dianyuan was in the movie.
