Chapter 584： The status of Chinese medicine
(I just got home, this chapter was made up for noon. There will be another update later. It may be later. You can get up tomorrow morning and read it again.)

——————————————

The teacher of pharmacokinetics is a very young teacher. Of course, this young is compared to the old professors in the university of Chinese medicine who are in their 60s and 70s. In fact, he is already nearly 50 years old. .

The level of the teacher is quite good, not only the research on pharmacokinetics is very deep and the level is very high, but the level of the lecture is also quite high, the intonation is very good, and the speaking is also very humorous. .

After listening to Ye Xiu for a while, he couldn’t help but listen with gusto. He didn’t intend to listen to his class, but planned to do self-study in the class. As a result, he listened almost completely.

But after listening to a class, Ye Xiu was surprised to find that this teacher taught such a level class, but few students around him listened carefully. Although many people seemed to be listening, In fact, the mind was obviously not in class, and as for the few colleagues he had just met, Hu Li and the others, they were simply dozing off and reading other books.

”Brother Hu, do you think the teacher in this class is not doing well?”

The bell rang after class, and after watching the teacher leave the platform, Ye Xiu couldn’t help asking Hu Li and the others.

”No, this teacher speaks very well.”

Hu Li looked at Ye Xiu suspiciously, wondering why Ye Xiu asked like that.

”Then why don’t you attend class?”

Ye Xiu stared at Hu Li and the others in a puzzled manner. Since the teacher spoke very well, why didn’t they listen.

”Hey, this is not an important class. Who wants to listen.”

Hu Lihun waved his hand carelessly.

”Not an important class? Isn’t this a professional class?”

Ye Xiu was stunned.

”What kind of professional course is this? Our professional course is Chinese herbal medicine.”

Hu Li didn’t take it seriously. After speaking, he seemed to think of something, and then showed Ye Xiu a look of someone who had come over, and said to Ye Xiu with a sincere heart, ”Ye Xiu, you are seeing the professional courses written on the course schedule. You just came here. The school still doesn’t understand. This professional course is actually differentiated. What we learn is Chinese herbal medicine. This aspect is the foundation of our future. As for the pharmacokinetics of this, it is just the school’s response to the call of the country and the hard arrangement. It doesn’t matter if you learn or not. When you take an exam, the teacher won’t care too much, so you don’t have to take it too seriously. It’s true that you spend more time on our real professional courses.”

”Yes, Ye Xiu, this pharmacokinetics teacher is very easy to talk about. As long as you give him face and come to class on time, he will usually pass the exam. You, don’t take this class too seriously. It’s true in our Chinese herbal medicine.”

Ding Ziqiang was also serious and honest, and when he was speaking, he also lit up a textbook on Chinese herbal medicine in his hand.

”Uh... don’t you think this course is also useful?”

Ye Xiu didn’t expect that the reason Hu Li and the others didn’t attend the class was because of this, they couldn’t help being stunned for a while, and after a while, he recovered and looked at them in surprise.

”Hey, these Western medicine stuff, what use can we learn Chinese medicine?”

”Isn’t that right? What’s the use of a bunch of mathematical formulas and chemical formulas? We are here to learn Chinese medicine, but not to learn these formulas!”

Ye Xiu’s words fell, and they were immediately refuted by Hu Li, and even Yao Bin, who was speaking less on the side, stood up and said something with disdain.

These are the methods of scientific research!

Only through these mathematical formulas, through these data models, can we get a scientific and reasonable drug configuration plan! Only then can we guide the design of new drugs, optimize the dosing plan, and improve the dosage form of the drug, so that we can provide high-efficiency, quick-acting, long-acting, low-toxicity, and low-side-effect drugs!

And these research methods can also be used for reference in Chinese herbal medicine!

Ye Xiu looked at the three people who were disdainful of pharmacokinetics. He couldn’t help but was stunned. He really didn’t expect that this basic discipline, which he thought was very important, would be so disdainful in Hu Li and the others. Gu’s useless section.

”Don’t you think there is a reason why the school arranges this course as our professional course and makes us compulsory?”

Ye Xiu also wanted to try to persuade them again and tell them the importance of this course.

”There’s a fart, isn’t it because the higher-level leaders demanded it. The higher-level leaders are fed up and don’t understand Chinese medicine at all, but they make some messy decisions. They are completely outsiders and insiders.”

Hu Li curled his lips.

”...”

Hearing what Hu Liyuan said, Ye Xiu couldn’t help being speechless for a while.

Expert management layman?

Are you experts or Qin Han Min Qin Lao them?

Incorporating this course into a professional compulsory course is a decision made by Qin Lao and the leading figures in the TCM world. They are obviously kind. I hope you can learn Chinese medicine better, and I hope you can learn a scientific research. The method is that you didn’t understand their painstaking efforts, okay?

”Isn’t it? The current leaders are really bullshit. We are studying Chinese medicine. They even arranged a course in western medicine for us. Let’s arrange it, and we will arrange such a difficult course.”

Ding Ziqiang also looked dissatisfied.

”Is this class difficult?”

Ye Xiu asked suspiciously.

”Nonsense! It’s all a bunch of mathematical formulas and chemical molecular formulas. Who can understand it? It’s big when you look at it.”

Hu Li glanced at Ye Xiu, his eyes widened, ”Ye Xiu, you won’t tell me, do you think this is easy.”

Ding Ziqiang and Yao Bin also looked at Ye Xiu.

”Uh... I really don’t think it is particularly difficult.”

Ye Xiu hesitated, but still honestly.

”Do you understand the teacher’s lecture?”

”Basically.”

”You used to be very good at math?”

Hu Li’s eyes widened, looking at Ye Xiu as if looking at an alien.

”It should be okay.”

Ye Xiu hesitated. He hadn’t studied mathematics systematically. It was only for the Oxford entrance exam that he did a lot of tuition for a while. He learned some basics of modern mathematics, including algebra and geometry, and later in college. He has studied several basic courses in mathematical analysis and statistics. Although he has learned well in these courses, he still has a guilty conscience if he has studied mathematics well.

”Since you are so good in science, you should study Western medicine. Why come here to study Chinese medicine? It’s a waste!”

Hu Li looked deplored and puzzled.

Yao Bin and Ding Ziqiang also widened their eyes, with puzzled expressions on their faces.

”Uh... why?”

Ye Xiu was stunned.

”Why? Why are you asking? Do you still need to ask? Of course it is a good job, promising!” Hu Li stared at Ye Xiu, as if he didn’t understand that Ye Xiu would ask such a naive question.

”But if you learn Chinese medicine, you can find a good job.”

Ye Xiu still didn’t understand.

”Traditional Chinese medicine? Ye Xiu, you don’t come from Mars, do you know, why are we going to graduate school?”

Hu Li sneered.

”why?”

Ye Xiu was puzzled.

”Because I can’t find a job!”

Ding Ziqiang next to him sighed.

”Dude, you’re not really coming from Mars, right? You don’t know how grim the employment situation we are currently facing when we study Chinese medicine? How many hospitals now have Chinese medicine departments? How many hospitals recruit Chinese medicine Graduates?”

Hu Li patted Ye Xiu on the shoulder, ”Not only those general hospitals have gradually cancelled the TCM departments, but even our original TCM hospitals have begun to run western medicine under the brand of TCM hospitals. Every year they recruit western medicine graduates. There are more students than us.”

”Is it such an exaggeration? Then why didn’t you choose to study western medicine?”

Ye Xiu was taken aback. He heard Qin Hanmin say that the current situation of Chinese medicine is relatively severe, but he did not expect that the situation of Chinese medicine is so severe.

”Because the science is not good and the grades are not good enough, you think we don’t want to enroll in western medicine. Let me tell you, if you ask so many students in this classroom, I can assure you that 70% or 80% of it is because The results are not good enough, so I embarked on the path of no return of Chinese medicine.”

A look of helplessness appeared on Hu Li’s face, ”Now, we hope that we can study the graduate students well so that I can learn something and find a subsistence job. I don’t want to go on taking the doctorate in Chinese herbal medicine.”

”Me too. Read on, I’m afraid I will read as a martyr!”

Ding Ziqiang looked approvingly.

”...”

Ye Xiu couldn’t help being speechless.

He did not continue to persuade Hu Li and them. He knew that persuasion was meaningless, and through the exchanges just now, he also knew that their choice was not entirely their fault, but a combination of many reasons. .

The most fundamental reason is the decline of Chinese medicine!

If you want to truly change this situation and avoid Hu Li and others, the only way out is to revitalize Chinese medicine! In that case, Chinese medicine will attract more and better talents to study, Chinese medicine will develop better, and people who study Chinese medicine will find jobs more easily!

Avoiding the topic of the pharmacokinetics class, Ye Xiu chatted with Hu Li and others about their own situation for a while. Through chatting with them, Ye Xiu realized that they were not only the same tutor, but also the dormitory. In the same room, they can be said to be completely the same door, even the door of the dormitory is the same.

Knowing that these people were his roommates, Ye Xiu was relieved. Although he had just met the three of them, he still had a pretty good impression of the three of them. He felt that the three of them looked good. They are all fierce, but in fact, people are quite straightforward and easy to get along with.

Although Ye Xiu didn’t plan to live in the dormitory for a long time, he would definitely have to live there occasionally. Ye Xiu didn’t want to meet some people who were not easy to get along with, which would cause him unnecessary trouble.

Hu Li and the others are also quite satisfied with Ye Xiu’s new classmate and new roommate. Although Ye Xiu looks delicate and his skin is whiter than that of a girl, his personality is obviously not as polished as a girl. The kind of Chi is also more easy-going and easy to get along with. After learning that Ye Xiu did not plan to live in the dormitory for a long time, the three of them felt disappointed.
