Urban Super Doctor

Chapter 134： I help him advance
(It’s a new week again! It’s also the end of the month. Everyone recommends monthly tickets or something, all come here!)

——————————————

Huang Donghai’s final inspection result came out the day after he completed the admission procedures.

With instructions from Ye Xiu and Zhao Ruobing, especially Zhao Ruobing, on the day of admission, Xiao Chen directly arranged for Huang Donghai to expedite all the inspections.

After getting the inspection result, Zhao Ruobing asked Xiao Chen to send it to Ye Xiu immediately.

Looking at the results of Huang Donghai’s inspection, the look on Ye Xiu’s face suddenly became serious.

The shadow of Huang Donghai’s brain has been determined to be a brain tumor, and the location and size of the tumor are more troublesome than he thought.

To be precise, he is a little older than he was when he was first CT.

And because of the growth of the tumor, Huang Donghai’s symptoms have also become more serious. In addition to the previous cough, there are signs of worsening such as fever.

The operation must be performed as soon as possible.

This was Ye Xiu’s first conclusion after reading Huang Donghai’s medical records and examination materials sent by Xiao Chen.

All the signs all indicate that this tumor is rapidly deteriorating. If it is not removed as soon as possible, it will inevitably become more and more troublesome! And because the nerves compressed by the tumor are related to the breathing of the lungs, the lungs may stop breathing at any time, which is life-threatening!

”Thank you, Dr. Chen, for me to talk to Director Zhao and help me arrange the operation as soon as possible.”

Putting down the information, Ye Xiu looked at Xiao Chen Dao with a dignified and earnest look.

”Doctor Ye, Director Zhao had already made arrangements as soon as the results came out, but...”

Xiao Chen’s face showed a trace of embarrassment.

”But what? Is it because Director Zhao has too many operations? Could you please tell Director Zhao that this operation is really urgent and cannot be delayed. If other things can be delayed, please delay it for a while?”

A look of anxiety appeared on Ye Xiu’s face. He knew that Zhao Ruobing’s reputation had risen so much recently. Many patients who had been in other hospitals nearby had moved here. There were even patients from major hospitals in the city. Surgery has surpassed the most popular orthopedics department in one fell swoop, becoming the most popular surgical department in the three hospitals.

”No, you have misunderstood Dr. Ye. It’s not the reason. Director Zhao has already made arrangements to postpone all the operations, but this Mr. Huang...”

Xiao Chen’s expression hesitated for a moment, and he continued, ”It’s Mr. Huang’s operation cost, something went wrong.”

”Surgery fee?”

Ye Xiu was stunned.

”Doctor Ye, you know, the hospital has hospital rules, and we also need a lot of cost to arrange an operation.”

Xiao Chen’s face showed a look of embarrassment, “I have notified Mr. Huang to pay the fee, but so far, Mr. Huang has not been able to pay for the surgery. If Mr. Huang is within today, he cannot pay If the fee is paid, tomorrow’s surgery may be cancelled forcibly.”

”Does Director Zhao know about this?”

Ye Xiu asked subconsciously.

”I don’t know yet, I haven’t said Director Zhao, Dr. Ye, you know, Director Zhao is actually a cold-faced person, but...”

Xiao Chen shook his head and looked at Ye Xiu with a look of embarrassment in his eyes.

”I understand. Then, Dr. Chen, Mr. Huang’s medical expenses, I will help him pay for the medical expenses first. You can arrange all the relevant aspects of the operation first, can you? Don’t worry, I will pay it immediately after work. on.”

Ye Xiu nodded, directly and honestly.

Xiao Chen didn’t finish what he said later, but Ye Xiu already understood what he meant.

He didn’t mean to blame Xiao Chen for his choice. On the contrary, he was very grateful for Xiao Chen’s choice. He had troubled Zhao Ruobing enough for this matter. There is no reason to let Zhao Ruobing go and help her. Surgical fees for unrelated patients were also paid.

”Doctor Ye, this... not so good.”

Xiao Chen stared at Ye Xiu in amazement. He told Ye Xiu about this, he wanted Ye Xiu to talk to Huang Donghai to see if he could make up for the surgery fee. He didn’t expect Ye Xiu to help him directly. Hand in.

”Hehe, it’s okay, I also know that this is indeed not very compliant, but as the saying goes, saving a life is better than building a seventh-level floating tutu. This patient came to see me for treatment. It is a fate. I can help. Please help. Don’t worry, I don’t do this for everyone. If everyone I help advance, I can’t afford it. My salary is very low.”

Ye Xiu smiled, and when he talked about it later, he also made a joke with Xiao Chen.

”Doctor Ye, you are really a good person, a good doctor!”

Xiao Chen looked at Ye Xiu in front of him, with a touch of sincere respect in his eyes.

The medical oath, every medical student has read it before, but how many people can really do it? But from Ye Xiu’s body, he really saw the spirit of the medical oath!

From that Mr. Zhu who rescued that car accident to Huang Donghai today, he can feel Ye Xiu’s respect for life! Feel the spirit of life above all else!

You know, neither Mr. Chu nor Huang Donghai has anything to do with Ye Xiu, but when their lives are in danger, he doesn’t count the rewards and stands up for them without hesitation. Do so much!

”Hehe, I’m not as good as you think, it’s just a handy effort, and, mainly, I think this Mr. Huang will return the money to me in the future.”

Ye Xiu smiled, ”Okay, Doctor Chen, go and make arrangements for me, please.”

”Then... Doctor Ye, I’m sorry!”

Doctor Xiao Chen’s gaze was tinged with guilt.

He really didn’t want to tell Zhao Ruobing about this, because he knew that after Zhao Ruobing knew about it, he would probably take the initiative to help Huang Donghai pay the fee. He knew his young and beautiful mentor too much, and she seemed cold and cold. Beneath the human appearance, and inside her bones, she is actually a doctor who puts patients first, and she is a very enthusiastic person.

He felt that Zhao Ruobing had paid enough for Huang Donghai, and she had no obligation to bear more for a patient like him.

It’s just that he didn’t expect that Ye Xiu would take on this matter. This made him feel a little embarrassed, and he felt a sense of helping Director Zhao take advantage of Ye Xiu.

Ye Xiu smiled, but didn’t say anything.

After watching Xiao Chen leave, Ye Xiu thought for a while, fearing that there would be problems on the bill payment side when he was off work. Although the hospital has a 24-hour window, Ye Xiu didn’t know that the night window was normally responsible for emergency treatment. For people like Huang Donghai, I don’t know if they can hand it in. Even if they can, it’s too late. I’m afraid Xiao Chen doesn’t know if it will be difficult to arrange. Ye Xiu simply said to the consulting nurse, took a leave of absence, suspended the diagnosis and treatment, first went to the hospital’s toll office to pay the money for Huang Donghai, and then returned to continue to treat the patient.

Fortunately, because it was already in the afternoon, there were fewer people paying the bills. Ye Xiu didn’t queue for too long. After more than ten minutes, he helped Huang Donghai pay the bills, in order to prevent accidents and think about the post-operative care costs. When paying the fee, he took the initiative to pay an extra 10,000 yuan and deposit it into Huang Donghai’s account.

After handling everything, Ye Xiu returned to the clinic and re-diagnosed the patient.
