Greatest Legacy of the Magus Universe

For the next several minutes, Adam continued to execute the Hand of Doom techniques utilizing his staff.

When he realized that some of the more intense techniques would instantly take care of the earth golems, he decided to go slightly easy on them.

In that, he allowed them to regenerate their body so that they could fight him continuously.

He had to admit, these golems, with their indestructible and regenerative bodies, truly were the perfect sparring partners one could ask for.

Standing in the distance, the Joker had a bored expression on his face when he witnessed Adam easily dispatching the golems.

”Hmm…” The man let out a drawn-out hum. ”This won’t do. This won’t do. So boring!”

He hadn’t expected Adam’s fighting prowess to be so great that he would effortlessly be able to battle four opponents of similar strength at the same time.

If he was being honest, the raven-haired youth had already passed his test. He had more than passed his test, in fact.

But the Joker wanted to be entertained. He wanted to see Adam bloodied and battered, desperately struggling to fight, and then coming out on top to clutch the victory.

Otherwise, it was no fun at all.

Suddenly, his eyes lit up, and he laughed out aloud. ”Fafafa! Yes, let’s do that!”

He snapped his fingers and the following moment, four spheres suddenly appeared before him, hovering in the air.

With a simple thought, he activated the spheres, causing the runes etched on them to light up. Then, the four spheres drew in the surrounding earth and gradually took the shape of towering humanoids.

Seeing the four golems suddenly materialize, Valerian was beside himself. ”Cheating! This is cheating!”

He was extremely happy seeing his brother win, but now the Joker increased the difficulty of the test by two fold.

”Cheating?” The Joker turned to the young dragon with a taunting smirk. ”Oh, silly little one, how is it cheating when I’m the one who sets the rules? Fafafa!”

”Myu!!” Valerian was exasperated, but there was nothing he could do about it.

In the end, he could only send Adam a mental transmission, warning him about four more golems coming his way.

…

In the distant battlefield, Adam’s eyes narrowed, and he turned his head only to see four more golems rushing towards him.

However, instead of feeling frustrated, he revealed an expectant grin.

”Alright then, I can finally try that main technique,” he said as he gracefully evaded a golem trying to stomp him.

Before the four golems had arrived before him, he had already dealt a severe blow to the two he was fighting, and easily stored away their cores.

He felt like he had already improved his staff techniques to a certain extent. The weapon had seamlessly merged with the techniques of Hand of Doom.

Coming to the Soaring River Secret Plane was more than worth it. Anything that could improve his battle prowess was always welcomed.

His back was straight as an arrow as he gazed at the four golems who were almost upon him. His presence was unshakeable as a mountain, and his aura was indomitable as the ocean.

The youth’s eyes flashed with a blazing fighting spirit as he waited for the golems to close the distance.

When the timing was right, he put away the Staff of Calamity and then began weaving extremely complicated hand seals.

A wide grin stretched across his face as he finished weaving the hand seals and brought his hands together, resulting in a resounding clap.

Then, the large chunks of rock, numbering in the hundreds, that had fallen from the bodies of the golems who had fought him suddenly started to rumble.

A moment later, all of them were covered in brilliant magic circles.

Rank 3 Spell: Rockbound Spears!

The chunks of rock on the ground levitated in the air, gradually transforming into thick spears. Then, under the effect of the spell, they began to rotate at extremely high speeds before zipping towards the golems.

In but a few moments, the Rockbound Spears had pierced through the bodies of the golems, leaving behind gaping holes.

They golems struggled to even stand, however, thanks to the regenerative powers of their cores, they were already drawing in the surrounding earth and filling the gaping inuries on their bodies.

That short amount of time was more than enough for Adam to cast his next spell. He quickly weaved another complex set of hand seals before pressing his hands to the ground.

A large magic circle lit up on the ground, its radius large enough to cover all the golems around Adam.

Rank 3 Spell: Mudslide!

The ground beneath rippled before turning into mud. Wave after another spread outward from where he stood, and within moments, the earth had grown thick and boggy, slowly swallowing the golem’s feet up to their calves.

With the four golems momentarily incapacitated, the grin on Adam’s face widened.

He crossed his hands over his chest, then extended them outward while settling into a horse stance, as if he were holding an invisible ball.

Then, he began gathering a large amount of mana. His reserves started to rapidly deplete, but Adam wasn’t done yet.

Almost ten seconds had passed as he continued to gather his mana. By that time, the four golems had already managed to free themselves from the muddy terrain.

But at the same time, Adam was also ready.

His eyes flashed with a brilliant light as he thrust out his palms, unleashing the monstrous amount of mana he had gathered in an omnidirectional surge.

Hand of Doom: World Sundering Palm!

BOOOOM!!

The area around him was completely sundered. Let alone the golems, not even the ground underneath them remained.

Everything around him in a radius of a hundred meters was reduced to nothingness. Even the rocks that made up the golems bodies were turned to dust.

The only thing that remained unharmed was the four golem cores.

Furthermore, the devastating shockwaves from the attack radiated for miles!

For the first time, the Joker showed a genuine expression of shock. He couldn’t believe that there could be such a devastating technique being carried out by a Mana Vortex Magus, no less.

Soon, his shock turned to mischief, and he snapped his fingers once again.

SNAP!

…

Adam’s breathing was laboured, and he was drenched in sweat. The last technique consumed more than half of his mana reserves!

”I’m still too weak to draw out the true potential of the Astral Tyrant Manual,” he softly muttered.

The next moment, intense warning bells started to ring inside his mind, causing his eyes to widen in shock.

A severe chill crawled down his spine when he noticed enormous shadows loomed behind him. Slowly, he turned his head, his heartbeat quickening with every passing second.

His gaze landed on four towering figures, his eyes gradually widening in utter disbelief!

Unlike the earth golems, these giants were not just bigger… they were alive.

But more importantly, the main difference between them and the golems was their sheer strength.

After all, these titanic beings possessed power equivalent to…

Rank 4 - Mana Core Magi!
