Starting with Resident Evil, players worldwide were terrified

Chapter 79 What?Isn't Naughty Cat owned by your Google company?

With such a thought, the director is clear in his mind, these boys just want to come to the planning department to play games aboveboard.

It’s not easy to lead the team if it goes on like this. The director was lost in thought.

”Director, that Windsor said that he wants to come back and continue working.” The female employee in the planning department raised her hand again and said.

”what?”

The director was a little annoyed, and turned to look at the female employee.

”You mean the Windsor who asked her to work overtime to play ”Resident Evil” before, and later accused me of PUA at her workplace, and then took a sum of mental compensation, and kidnapped 5 employees by the way?”

When the female employee heard the barrage of questions, she withdrew her hand embarrassingly, and said, ”That’s all right.”

”Director!”

Someone behind him yelled weakly.

”Speak up if you have something to say!” The director was a little furious.

”I also want to apply to join the planning department, and I have worked in the planning department for half a year before.”

The director put his hand on his forehead, is there still Wang Fa?Is there any reason?
In fact, the people in the production department cannot be blamed, because the office area is relatively empty.

They are not separated at work, and every day they study the code and game files by themselves, and the people in the planning department over there are discussing the game plot in full swing every day.

Every day, these people from the production department would take advantage of their breaks to go to the coffee room to listen to the planning department talk about the plot, listening with gusto.

I couldn’t help but praise Naughty Cat from the bottom of my heart as a god, because only a god can make such an outstanding work.

”Jack, call everyone in the entire department over, and I’ll emphasize discipline.”

After thinking about it for a while, the director still needs to straighten out the discipline, first to calm people’s hearts.

Then apply to the board of directors of Valve Corporation and give up the research on ”The Last of Us”

This shit can’t be imitated at all, and it can’t be learned. If it continues like this, it will only waste more manpower and money.

I saw almost everyone in the game department was there.

The director cleared his throat:
”I want everyone to make it clear that we are game makers, not players, and the purpose of our work is to make money.”

”It’s not for playing the game, it’s about learning from the opponent, not worshiping the opponent.”

”That’s all I said!”

”The emphasis here is on the planning department. It is necessary to study the opponent’s game techniques and plot characteristics instead of indulging in it.”

”Take the time to experience it in the past two days, and then give me a detailed game experience report, and then come up with a similar new game plan.”

”That’s it, everyone hurry back to work.”

”it is good!”

Everyone agreed and turned to go back to work.

The bearded employee from before whispered to the female employee next to him:

”I’ve figured out how to play the fourth stage.”

”John, what were you talking about?”

The director walked over here.

John didn’t know what was going on, so he had to confess honestly:
”I just said that I found a way to fight the giant mac of the fourth-stage infected.”

”Mommy Fake!”

The director slapped John on the shoulder, ”You are amazing.”

”Walk, walk, show me quickly, I just got stuck there yesterday, and I haven’t called.”

The director said excitedly.

The bearded John stared at his small eyes: ”(◇)?”

Didn’t it say that everyone should not be addicted to games and work hard?
Just when the director pushed John to show himself the game skills.

The phone in his pocket suddenly rang, and he took it out to have a look.

”Claude??”

He is a leader of the X department of the Google Group. The previous director met on a golf course and left a phone call with each other.

Google’s X department is known as the department of Google that studies the most cutting-edge technology, and has recruited a large number of the world’s top scientists.

There are even rumors that a lot of technology in the X department is at least 20 years ahead of the current world.

How could he call himself? Is it a matter of discussing cooperation?

With these questions in mind, the director answered the phone.

”Hi, hello Claude, how’s it going?” the director greeted routinely.

”It’s okay, let’s talk less, I know you are usually very busy, we can take time to get together.”

”Let’s talk about the business first today.” Claude on the opposite side is so resolute in his work style.

”Okay, then you say.”

The director thought to himself, could it be that Google is going to spin off the game department to the X department, and then Claude came to him to cooperate?
”I don’t know if you have contacted that naughty cat studio. If so, I hope you can introduce or provide a way to contact him.”

After a pause, without waiting for the director to answer, Claude quickly added.

”Of course I won’t let you help in vain!”

Hearing the other party’s words, the director’s heart sank immediately, Naughty Cat really doesn’t belong to Google!
”Claude, isn’t Naughty Cat made by your Google game department?” asked the director.

”What do you mean? No, how did you think it was made by our company?” Claude was puzzled.

”Fack, I always thought that Naughty Cat was secretly made by your Google game department.” The director burst into a foul language.

”Is it true that, as said in the previous video, all the staff of Naughty Cat Studio belong to Xia Guo?”

Claude is also a person who responds quickly, and he was surprised at the same time: ”You haven’t contacted each other?”

”But Xia Guo is impossible.”

Claude directly denied this answer.

”They don’t have that capability. If it’s not Microsoft, it should be Pear Company. Only they have this capability.”

Claude paused for a moment, seeming to organize his words.

”Naughty Cat’s game is published on your Steam platform, you should have contact information?”

”Our department found that the NPC dialogue involved intelligent AI, and it was flexible and changeable, and it was still learning.”

”This is very close to the project we are currently researching. I hope you can provide their contact information, or let’s go out and get together tonight.”

I will cherish your wine? It’s nothing more than wanting to buy Naughty Cat.The director cursed in his heart.

On the phone, the other party declined politely: ”We can’t get through the phone number provided by the other party.”

In this regard, Claude was sent away directly.

Google’s headquarters is actually exactly this idea, to find Naughty Cat and buy it!
Google made artificial intelligence Alpha very early on, and tested it around the world, playing chess with human world champions.

Also achieved absolute victory.

But this Alpha actually has many limitations. Even so, they still proudly believe that Alpha represents the highest intelligent AI in the world.

Unexpectedly, in a game, a random NPC would cause them great frustration.

At the beginning, the game department bought it back for research. First of all, they also couldn’t understand the code, but this is not the most important thing. The most important thing is that they talked with Tess or Ellie and Bill later.

It is found that the other party’s speech will continue to change, and it will also remember the previous tone and player personality, and interact with it jokingly.

This has exceeded the capabilities of general game NPCs.

After a long test, their researchers spent all day asking questions and chatting with NPCs.

Including: ”Do you know that the world you live in is fake?”

”Do you know what death is?”

”What is real?”

The other party’s answer is different every time, and there are also direct questions to the tester.

”How do you know that the world you live in is not fake?”

There are even some answers full of philosophical meaning.

This makes Google seriously doubt that the NPCs in the game seem to have self-awareness.
