Starting with Resident Evil, players worldwide were terrified

Chapter 33 The new game made the director cry

At this time, Li Yao was still doing repetitive private chat work.

This basically took him half an hour.

He chatted privately with each player for a while.

In addition to sending the game over, he also specifically told him not to copy and spread the game.

Those players also fully agreed.

Although verbal agreement is a test of human nature, it still needs a contract in black and white to be more stable.

But those are done by people who are not confident enough in themselves.

Li Yao is not afraid of these people spreading and copying at all.

Who made his game files?System!

Li Yao directly asked the system to add a backhand to these games.

Game files can only be downloaded once to the computer in the mailbox.

If there is a copy, the game files will disappear without a trace immediately.

Not even a trace will be left.

Li Yao would not be so stupid as to trust others with just a word.

Or rely on human nature to restrain others, human nature is the most unreliable!

Keep everything in your hands, so you can go out of the rivers and lakes!
…………

At the same time, inside the V Agency company far overseas.

After the morning meeting, a group of employees gathered in the coffee room to rest.

”Have you watched the latest Resident Evil hidden perfect ending clearance video?”

”Look, it’s beyond my expectation. This is a plot that I really didn’t think of.”

”Actually, in the clearance video that appeared for the first time, my jaw dropped in shock. There are two endings in a trial version.”

”I didn’t expect a hidden perfect ending to come out later.”

An employee took a big gulp of coffee and crushed the paper cup.

He sighed: ”The graphics and plot have all reached the top of the industry.”

”And this is not the complete game, everyone!”

Another bearded employee chimed in:
”This year’s ”Resident Evil” should win all the TGA awards including the best of the year.”

”It’s too exaggerated to take all of them. I feel a little overwhelmed. After all, this is just a trial version, with only about half an hour of game time.”

said an employee wearing thick-soled black-rimmed glasses.

The bearded man suddenly became a little impatient: ”Well, can you give me an example of a game that is comparable to Resident Evil?”

”This...” The black-framed glasses were suddenly speechless.

At this time, another employee interjected: ”By the way, isn’t our company the first to throw an olive branch to Naughty Cat?”

”If we can cooperate with this kind of game company, what kind of scene will it be!”

”So the news from your development department is lagging behind.”

”The matter of cooperation has long since faded away, and others directly rejected it.”

”Our Ministry of Commerce has spread it all over.”

”Oh, oh! If I can make a game like Resident Evil, I don’t want to work with these vampires.”

”Then what if you have no funds? Why don’t you find someone to invest in?”

”That’s right, from this point of view, this naughty cat’s funds are still very strong.”

…………

The discussion in the coffee room was in full swing.

A red-haired employee was staring at the computer, typing something on the keyboard with his fingers flying.

The expression on the face is wonderful.

After a while, he suddenly stood up from the seat, raised his arms and shouted.

”Mary Falke, brothers, brothers.”

”I got the latest beta version of Naughty Cat, which is ”The Last of Us””

His voice is very loud, and the office area of V agency is a huge factory-like area.

Everyone’s work position is not blocked, and the entire work area can be seen at a glance visually.

All the commuters heard it.

The people in the coffee lounge threw away the coffee in their hands and rushed out.

The workplace of the red-haired employee is surrounded by crowds.

”Sangaowu bitch, Joel! You really belong to me!”

”Joel did you make the top 10 of Resident Evil?”

”En...” The man named Joel blushed excitedly and kept rubbing his hands.

The people living around are also full of envy.

”Give it up, let it go.”

”What does it look like to gather together during working hours?”

It was the voice of the chief executive.

The crowd dispersed instantly.

”Joel, what’s going on now?”

The director was followed by a large group of senior talents in the technical department.

This was temporarily transferred from the technical department by the director after hearing the news.

It is to study and analyze Naughty Cat’s new game in the first place.

”Director, I’m downloading the game.”

”It will be ready soon!” Joel’s excited tone was a little trembling.

”Good job, Joel.”

”In addition to the bonus, your weekly salary will increase by 20% in the future.”

”Thank you Director! Oh!” Joel cheered.

Since Li Yao announced the top 10 and gave away the new beta version immediately, Valve immediately issued instructions to the game planning department and experience department.

Whoever can get this internal test qualification will be rewarded generously.

In addition to bonuses and salary increases, there are double annual leave at the end of the year, all paid leave.

In this kind of global competition, someone in our company actually snatched one tenth of the places.

It is not easy.

The director looked at the ever-increasing download progress on the computer screen, and muttered to himself:
”The last of us, if we analyze it from the literal meaning of the name, is it about the theme of doomsday?”

”If it is based on the theme of doomsday, then the creation of the worldview must be very complete.”

”And the requirements for art are very high, which can be said to be a big challenge in today’s industry.”

”Anyway, no company has been able to make such a doomsday background game yet.”

The layman looks at the excitement and the insider looks at the doorway.

It is really impossible for a director to become a director without two brushes.

In just a few words, the difficulties and themes of the entire game of ”The Last of Us” are almost directly analyzed.

Everyone has never thought that the download time will be so long.

Ding!The game download is complete.

Everyone looked at the small game icon.

”Then let me play the game first.”

As soon as the director finished speaking, someone from the technical department handed over the game helmet that had already been prepared.

The director said while wearing a helmet.

”Our company has also set up a project for the theme background of doomsday.”

”It was canceled in less than half a year. It was too difficult, and it was too difficult to establish a worldview.”

”There is also the entry point, what kind of event will bring the player into this end of the world...”

Halfway through the conversation, the director stopped talking.

He opened his mouth wide and muttered unconsciously:
”Exquisite picture, very realistic modeling.”

Then the whole person stopped talking and was completely immersed in the game.

The surrounding employees just looked at him eagerly.

After about 10 minutes, the director took off his helmet by himself.

His eyes were red, and tears rolled down his face silently.

He stretched out his hands to cover his eyes, whimpered softly, and shrugged his shoulders constantly.

The employees don’t know what’s going on?
You look at each other, I look at you.

No matter how good this game is, there is no need to cry like this.

After a while, the director wiped away his red eyes from crying.

He looked up ”You don’t know what I just went through.”

”In the game, I am an office worker, working overtime at night and going home very late.”

”My daughter prepared a birthday present for me with her pocket money.”

”Because today is my birthday, but I was too busy to forget it.”

”Then that night, zombies broke out all over the world.”

”my daughter……”

Having said this, the director’s voice choked up, and tears flowed down again.

”I only experienced this game for more than 10 minutes, but I felt like I experienced a short life.”

”Why is it so strong, because I really have a daughter in real life, so I can’t help but feel the same way.”

”I can’t imagine what kind of genius would come up with such a wonderful plot.”

”Combined with Naughty Cat’s strongest graphics in the world, it will instantly pull players into the world view set by the game.”

After a pause, the director continued.

”I have loved games since I was a child, and it can be said that I have been dealing with games for a lifetime.”

”But never has a game shaken me as much as it does today.”

”I feel that we spend our whole lives, and we can’t surpass the current height of Naughty Cat Studio.”

”A high mountain stands still, unfathomable!”
