Global Tower Defense: I Build a Billion-Strong Dark Army

Chapter 225 System Package

Chapter 225 System Package

Chapter 228 System Package

”Indeed.” Luo Xiu nodded slightly.

He had also considered this aspect before, but he thought that he had a large number of energy amethysts, and it did not require consuming many amethysts to unilaterally open an energy barrier in the direction of a city gate.

But now through Xu Shu’s analysis, Luo Xiu discovered that there is a deeper calculation in it.

The energy barrier is a dynamic protective shield with certain characteristics, because it was created by Luo Xiu, and only Luo Xiu can build it through the city technology tree.

Therefore, only Luo Xiu can control its opening and closing.

It is impossible for Luo Xiu to pay attention to the switch of the energy barrier all the time, so he specially designed an ”automatic defense” function.

As long as any area of the entire city will be hit, the energy barrier will automatically open.

Under normal circumstances, as long as it does not exceed a destructive value set by Luo Xiu, the energy barrier will only open defenses against the hit parts, and does not need to consume much energy each time.

But the problem lies in this value.

The value of this defense cannot be set too low, but it cannot be set too high. Otherwise, if the city wall is blown up and the energy shield has not been opened, then this energy barrier will become a decoration.

And now the first few waves of enemy troops attacking at the south gate are testing, testing the upper limit of the energy barrier’s defense default value.

Once this upper limit is reached, the energy barrier will be fully activated, which is equivalent to protecting the entire city, and the energy consumed will naturally be much larger.

And each time, as long as the energy barrier defense time is calculated, and an attack of corresponding power is launched at this time interval, the effect of consuming the energy amethyst in Luoxiu City can be achieved.

”My lord, what do you think we should do? How about I send part of the team out of the city to ambush them?”

Seeing Luo Xiu’s expression of deep thought, Xu Shu spoke.

”Definitely not. Since the other party can come up with such a method, they must have expected that we might send troops to ambush us. They will definitely send heavy troops to ambush us nearby.”

Luo Xiu shook his head lightly.

Xu Shu also fell into silence when he heard the words.

Even if he is as resourceful as him, he will not be able to come up with any good strategies for a while.

”You go back first, our energy amethyst is still in sufficient quantity now, let me figure out a way, and you can also make a corresponding strategy based on the actual battle situation outside.”

After a while, Luo Xiu said to Xu Shu.

”Yes!” Xu Shu bowed to Luo Xiu and exited the hall.

Luo Xiu entered the system mall and searched in it.

Suddenly, his eyes fell on an item that had not been unlocked.

”Self-explosive engineer: When encountering an enemy, it will automatically explode, causing huge damage. Activation consumes 10 blue electronic cores and 100000 points.”

The self-explosive sapper is a special tower defense tool from Warcraft, and it will not be used by anyone under normal circumstances.

However, if you use it suddenly, it may have a miraculous effect.

”The system needs to be upgraded to level four to be able to exchange.”

Luo Xiu then saw the red lettering behind it again.

The four-level system requires 500 million points to upgrade.

Luo Xiu still felt a little heartache thinking about it.

I rummaged through the mall again, and found that besides the self-explosive engineer, there is no other better tower defense equipment that can be used.

So he had to reluctantly spend 500 million points to upgrade the system again.

”Ding! The system upgrade is complete! Upgrade to Lv4!”

”Congratulations to the host, upgrade the system to Lv4, and get a tower defense gift package*1!”

As the system sound sounded, Luo Xiu froze for a moment.

”Why didn’t I have a big gift bag for the previous upgrade? Suddenly, a big gift bag came to me at the fourth level?”

He couldn’t help asking the system.

”Ding! This is a hidden function of the system. A special gift package will be given every four levels! There are more hidden functions waiting for the host to discover!”

The system quickly gave the answer.

”Eh...there is also a hidden function? But anyway, it is beneficial to me, so it doesn’t matter.”

Luo Xiu didn’t pay too much attention to it. He first took the big gift bag and put it in the system space, then returned to the location just now and found the self-destruct engineer.

After consuming ten blue electronic cores and [-] points to activate it, Luo Xiu spent another [-] points to exchange for one.

“自爆工兵Lv1：血量5000，防御力60，行动力20。（血量归零或碰撞到敌军会爆炸！爆炸伤害=血量*15）”

”Oh? The blood volume is pretty good, and the defense is also good, and the explosion damage is also considerable. It’s just you!”

The corners of Luo Xiu’s mouth rose slightly.

Then, a hundred self-explosive engineers were exchanged directly, and the level was slightly increased.

Soon, a group of self-engineering soldiers were sent to Xu Shu by Luo Xiu.

”Use these self-explosive engineers well, and you can crack the opponent’s conspiracy.”

Luo Xiu used the city’s technology tree to transmit sound channels.

”Okay, my lord!” Xu Shu nodded towards the void.

With his wisdom, he naturally knew what Luo Xiu meant.

One hundred self-explosive engineers, as long as they are sent out first, let them go to the position where the enemy set up the fort, and then they will be eliminated in one go.

”However, this can only temporarily deter them, but it cannot completely stop them.”

Luo Xiu quickly thought of the limitations of self-destructing engineers.

After all, these self-explosive engineers also need to consume [-] points to exchange, and tens of thousands of points to upgrade, which is not cheap.

Luo Xiu can’t spend 2000 million points every day to do this, can he?
Then when will the other corn cannons, holy angels, and dark blue holy guns in his hands be upgraded to the level he planned?

”By the way, I just got a big gift bag, first open it to see what it is.”

Luo Xiu suddenly remembered the big gift bag that had just upgraded the system level, so he entered the system space and opened the big gift bag directly.

”Congratulations to the host, you got Potato Ray*1000!”

”Congratulations to the host, you got pumpkin*500!”

”Congratulations to the host, you got the orc watchtower*300!”

Following a beep from the system, a pile of plant seeds and watchtower designs quickly appeared in the space.

”Damn it? Potato mines and pumpkins? You gave so much at once?”

Luo Xiu was slightly stunned, but he still checked the effects of the two plants first.

”Potato mine: a special plant planted in the ground, it takes 10 minutes to grow, and it explodes quickly when encountering an enemy, causing high damage (explosion range = level * 15m, explosion damage = level * 10000)”

”Pumpkin: A plant with a bad temper, it will jump up and smash down when encountering an enemy, and die with the enemy! (Main limit of damage = level * 99999)”

”Yes, and both are of white quality, so upgrading won’t waste points!” Luo Xiu couldn’t help but smile.
