Global Tower Defense: I Build a Billion-Strong Dark Army

Chapter 199 Xu Shu's View

Chapter 199 Xu Shu’s View
Chapter 202 Xu Shu’s View
It was impossible for Luo Xiu to consider this aspect before obtaining the resources in the mysterious folding space.

But now, with an income of 1840 energy amethysts every day, he naturally wouldn’t let go of the opportunity to strengthen his city’s defenses and the team’s overall strength.

Judging from the current scale of Water Blue City, opening the energy barrier would consume one energy amethyst every minute.

It seems like a lot.

However, the energy barrier can be opened and closed at any time. It only needs to be opened when the enemy launches a sneak attack. Most of the time, there is no consumption.

To build an energy barrier base, you only need to consume a hundred energy amethysts and other basic resources such as wood and stones.

This is not difficult for Luo Xiu now.

And he still has the absolute spare power to add an energy crystal shield to many corn siege vehicles or some summoned beast teams.

The energy crystal shield is installed on a corn siege vehicle, which can cover a range of more than three meters around it. If it is placed on a summoned beast, it can protect five or six summoned beasts around it.

Wu Wei and the others can also put one on them, an energy amethyst, which can support an energy crystal shield for three hours, and has the function of automatically sensing danger.

Therefore, basically a person would carry an energy amethyst on his body, and after a day of fighting, he would not suffer any damage.

So, for the next three days, Luo Xiu was installing the energy crystal shield every day besides using the points he got to upgrade the level of the summoned beast.

After Wu Wei found out that the energy crystal shield was installed, he was also very happy. At the same time, all the core generals, commanders, and centurions were full of respect and gratitude to Luo Xiu.

It is rare to find a few city lords who cherish the lives of their subordinates like Luo Xiu in the entire East Pole Island.

If you want to directly put your heart into it like him, then basically there will be none.

”Next, what we have to face is not one enemy, but many. Although our strength is indeed very strong, no matter how skilled we are, we are still afraid of kitchen knives. It must be carried at all times to avoid any accidents!”

After everything was basically arranged, Luo Xiu stood on the main hall and solemnly said to all the personnel who were about to join the battle.

”Don’t worry, my lord, we won’t lose a single soldier, so we will take down the Yanlong City, which is so worthless, and press down the owner of the Yanlong City to kowtow to you to apologize!”

Wu Wei excitedly responded loudly.

”Press him over and kowtow to apologize!”

Soon, in the hall, all the personnel shouted in unison, and the voice instantly resounded through the sky.

Luo Xiu smiled, feeling like he was the King of the Mountain in a TV series.

”Okay, I’m already quite happy that you have such intentions. Next, always be ready for the challenge.”

Luo Xiu waved his hand towards everyone and said.

They just stopped shouting.

”My lord, there is something I want to tell you about.”

After most of the staff left, Xu Shu suddenly came in front of Luo Xiu.

Looking at this former senior assistant who belonged to the Snowman clan, he is now an important backbone of the entire Water Blue City.

A kind smile appeared on Luo Xiu’s face.

The name Xu Shu reminded him of a counselor in his original world, the era known as the ”Three Kingdoms” in history.

And this Xu Shu did put forward a lot of insightful and practical opinions after entering the Water Blue City.

”What’s the matter? Xu Shu, what’s your opinion?” Luo Xiu asked with a smile.

”I don’t dare to say it, but after seeing the energy barrier you built, my lord, I thought of one thing. Maybe we can expand the scope of the city again.”

Xu Shu bowed and said.

”Oh? Expansion again? Tell me in detail.” Luo Xiu’s expression changed slightly.

”That’s the case, my lord. Do you remember that in the southeast of our city, there is a lair of the murlocs. In it, there is an abandoned lifefire area. We may be able to take that area down now.”

Xu Shu said slowly.

”Fatefire area?” Luo Xiu was taken aback.

As Xu Shu said, now that the area of the Water Blue City has expanded, there are some dark creature nests around and there are also life fire areas.

But the nearest one is also eight kilometers away from the Water Blue City, and it happens to be next to the Desolate Shield City.

In addition, Luo Xiu had already snatched a life fire area from the hands of Desolate Shield City, and now he is going to occupy another one. Luo Xiu is still a little worried that he will be out of reach at that time, and he will not be able to control the life fire area over there.

Hearing what Xu Shu said now, he thought of something.

Immediately asked: ”You mean, now we can use the energy barrier, cooperate with some plants and powerful summoned beasts, to garrison that area?”

”That’s right, my lord, I even feel that we can pull the battle line there. I have observed it, unless Yanlong City they are willing to bypass the werewolf Grand Canyon and take an extra [-] kilometers to our west gate.” To launch an attack, most of their attack routes must pass through the abandoned life fire area in the southeast!”

Xu Shu continued.

”Is this true? I was negligent, take a look at the map you studied.” Luo Xiu pinched his chin and said.

Hearing this, Xu Shu quickly took out a rolled up white paper from his body, opened it and placed it in front of Luo Xiu, Luo Xiu saw a very detailed map on it, including the surrounding areas of the Water Blue City. The location distribution of more than ten cities, as well as various terrain conditions.

”My lord, you can take a look. Here, there is a high mountain to the south of Yanlong City. If they want to come over, they have to face natural dangers, which are extremely dangerous. To the east is a swamp of death. They can’t come here. There are open roads to the north and south to send troops.”

”Going south from the west, there are only two roads. Either take the Werewolf Grand Canyon, which is an excellent strategic location we are currently occupying, and secondly, come from the east of Desolate Shield City, which means you must pass through this place. A piece of abandoned life fire area.”

While explaining, Xu Shu drew two routes for marching in Yanlong City on the map.

At the same time, he also explained that the marching routes of the surrounding cities basically cannot escape these two dangers.

”The Werewolf Grand Canyon, with such an unfavorable terrain, anyone with a little sense of war will not choose to go this way. After all, it is an excellent defensive position. Not only can you use high to fight low, but there is only one road to walk. .”

As Xu Shu said, there was a flash of light in his eyes.
