Chapter 148 The Treasure Chest Is Dangerous

Chapter 148 The Treasure Chest Is Dangerous

Then, as he stepped back, he was in the mood to look at the voice behind him.

The head of a hellhound suddenly exploded behind him, and he was recovering quickly under the treatment of the druid.

Guo Xiuwen was horrified.

boom--

Then he felt a pain in the violent bear’s thick chest, and the entire huge body flew upside down.

”Depend on--”

”This treasure chest is a trap!”

The reason why Guo Xiuwen chose to leave immediately was because he discovered that this treasure chest was a trap.

Before he could check if there was anything good in it, his body had already been attacked.

Even if it weren’t for the Cerberus’ skills that helped him resist the damage, he would definitely lie on the ground even if he didn’t die.

boom boom-

After being attacked twice in a row, the soldiers behind finally had time to counterattack.

For a moment, countless flames appeared in the dense forest, and the huge flames blocked the third attack on Guo Xiuwen by the monsters emerging from the treasure chest.

The opponent obviously didn’t expect Guo Xiuwen’s counterattack to be so fast, so he was stunned by the sudden appearance of the wall of fire and flame attack.

【Blood Burning Skeleton】

【Undead】【Silver】

LV5 (512/500)

Power: 45
Constitution: 48
Agility: 41
Spirit: 40
Skill: Burning Blood (ignite the target’s health, burn all the blood of the target at once, cooldown time 10 minutes)

Heavy Slash (a full blow, causing 300% damage, the attack comes with knockback and beheading effects)

Bloodsucking (every attack will convert 30% attack power damage into health)
Racial Talent: Immortality

Introduction: The life that was burned alive was bred after countless years of resentment.

After Guo Xiuwen retreated outside the dense forest, he had the opportunity to look at the guy who attacked him.

Seeing the attributes of the Burning Blood Skull, he almost scolded his mother.

The opponent’s skills are really too abnormal.

And the treasure chest is not really all good things. Who would have thought that there would be a silver rank skeleton hidden in a golden treasure chest.

When it just arrived, Guo Xiuwen had such worries.

So when he first opened the treasure chest, he deliberately asked other soldiers to open it.

But because there was no danger every time he opened the treasure chest, he naturally thought that all the treasure chests were safe.

Especially the treasure chest is impossible to carry and move.

It even made him choose to open it himself in the future.

But the geese who hunted geese all day long were finally pecked in the eyes by geese.

”Give it to me, tender it to death!”

This encounter let Guo Xiuwen know that there are too many routines in this world, even if he is so powerful, he should be careful.

If it wasn’t for the Cerberus that he could help him resist the damage, he would have explained it directly.

Burning Blood Skeleton is very powerful.

But no matter how strong it is, it is only a silver rank skeleton.

There was no unexpected sneak attack, and the opponent persisted for less than 3 minutes in the face of a siege of fifteen silver-ranked existences.

After being smashed into pieces for the second time, he fell directly to the ground.

Seeing the falling of the Burning Blood Skull, Guo Xiuwen’s eyes lit up.

The burning blood skill book is not ordinary. After learning it, it will definitely be a killer.

But then he felt a little pity, because the target must have blood on his body to burn blood.

And his biggest enemy at present, the undead tribe is either a skeleton or a spirit body, and there is no blood for him to burn.

After killing the burning blood skeleton, Guo Xiuwen approached the opened golden treasure chest again.

He wanted to see if there was anything else in the treasure chest besides the Burning Blood Skeleton.

Sure enough, apart from danger, there are still good things in the golden treasure chest.

Guo Xiuwen saw four harvests, and after finding out that there was no other danger in the dense forest, he couldn’t help but check them on the spot.

【Spike Obstacle Construction Blueprint】

Introduction: A layer of spiked obstacles can be laid around the territory to hinder the enemy’s progress.

Effect: After the enemy attacks the spike obstacle, it will get 10+5% attack power rebound damage; after the enemy steps on the spike, it will get 50+ (lord 100% strength damage)

Note: Spiked barriers can be destroyed and can be rebuilt by consuming certain resources.

It’s a pretty good defensive building. Not only can it cause damage itself, but it can even reflect the damage when it is attacked.

Guo Xiuwen has made a decision, and will see the amount of resources needed after going back to use it.

If the request is not too much, the next time he encounters a wild monster attack, he will lay a large number of spiked obstacles outside the territory.

As for the usual words, there is no offense, so naturally there is no need to lay this thing.

【Skill Book】

Introduction: After using it, you can get 1 free skill point.

Good stuff!

When Guo Xiuwen got it, he was still wondering.

This skill book has no name, so what is it?

In the end, I didn’t know that this turned out to be something that could provide free skill points.

Seeing such a good thing, he used both skill books in one go.

He was worried that the skill points for upgrading the race level were not enough.

Unexpectedly, a new channel for obtaining skill points has appeared now.

It’s just that I don’t know if only the golden treasure chest will come out, or other low-level treasure chests also have a chance.

Being attacked twice, but getting two free skill points, Guo Xiuwen felt that it was all worth it.

Then he looked at the treasure.

【Horn of Courage】【Treasure】

Description: +10 Attack, +10 Armor
The properties of the horn of courage are very simple, but the effect is not ordinary.

These two attributes are already comparable to the combat effectiveness of a black iron rank soldier.

After reading the attributes of the Horn of Courage, he directly chose the equipment, and then put away the Summoning Scroll of the Burning Blood Skull.

He already knew the strength of the Burning Blood Skull, so there was no need to continue watching.

Put away your things, Guo Xiuwen was planning to go outside to observe the frequency of skeleton soldiers and grieving ghosts.

But when he stood in front of the treasure chest and looked deep into the dense forest, he saw something different.

In the depths of the dense forest, there is actually a building.

Although it looks dilapidated and the main body is mostly wrapped in vines and moss, its appearance is relatively complete.

”Why don’t you go inside and have a look?”

Guo Xiuwen’s heart became ready to move again.

”Let’s forget it, wait until I gather the troops.”

But in the end, his rationality prevailed, and he decided to take a step back for the time being regarding the buildings in the dense forest.

After walking out of the dense forest, Guo Xiuwen chose to go back again.

After passing through the bone burial ground for more than ten miles, he came to the edge of the bone burial ground where he had previously discovered it.

Then arrange for the Cerberus to start digging the bones.

click - click -

He originally thought that digging out bones would be a very easy task.

But watching the hellhound’s paws go down, all the bones buried in it crumbled into pieces.

Guo Xiuwen felt embarrassed.

woohoo-

So he quickly stopped the Cerberus, and when he was thinking about whether to take the initiative to do it himself, a gust of wind suddenly blew over.

Guo Xiuwen was taken aback for a moment, and then prepared to be on guard.

woohoo-

In the stern wind, Guo Xiuwen saw at a glance that more than ten grieving ghosts appeared out of thin air.

And it is even more difficult to say how many grieving ghosts there are in places that cannot be seen.

He wasn’t worried about just ten grieving ghosts.

First, he waved his hands to enchant the soldiers, then stepped back a few steps, and watched them step forward to fight.

He himself needs to observe the surrounding situation, of course it is not suitable to join the battle immediately.

”Roar--”

The six druids transformed into giant bears at the same time, and then they met the grieving ghost with a hammer.

bang bang bang-

boom boom-

Under the double attack of flames and druids, the resentful ghosts that appeared were quickly hammered and exploded.

clack clack-

Just after the eleven grieving ghosts were hammered twice and were no longer revived, the bones on the ground that were violently dug out by the hellhounds also automatically gathered together at this time.

Guo Xiuwen was confident this time, he waved his hand to let the soldiers make way, and then stood aside to check.

Soon, no more, no less, eleven blood-burning skeletons stood up.

Seeing this scene, Guo Xiuwen was relieved a lot.

Because this means that, at least in the current battle, the ghosts and skeletons appear separately.

This kind of fighting intensity can at least let him and the soldiers breathe a sigh of relief.

Just as he was thinking, the fight resumed.

This time, with eleven blood-burning skeletons appearing, the battle became more complicated.

After all, the opponent’s blood-burning skill can directly burn all the blood of the target at once.

Before the battle started, the druids first waved their hands and blessed many soldiers with recovery skills.

Then the Horned Demon and Cerberus launched their skills, filling the space in front with a lot of flames.

boom boom-

The flames of hell instantly ignited all the blood-burning skeletons.

Then the Druid instantly transformed into an eagle, spread his wings and flew into the sky.

The Burning Blood Skeleton also needs chopping skills, a full 300% damage, if it is not necessary, of course it is impossible to stand still and slash with them.

So the soldiers chose to play with kites.

It has to be said that the Burning Blood Skeleton is definitely the strongest group in the silver class.

After all, their attributes are basically balanced, without too many weaknesses.

But the only weakness is that they are melee units, and it is often difficult to achieve good results when they cannot fight in close quarters.

However, whether it is a druid, a hellhound or a horned demon, everyone’s mobility is very high.

So around the few giant trees, eleven blood-burning skeletons went through kite flying, splitting, beating and other means, and soon fell to the ground and died one after another.

After a long time, Guo Xiuwen couldn’t help but breathe a sigh of relief when he saw that the last blood-burning skeleton did not recover after disintegration.

Although the battle is not small risk, but the benefits are also great.

Not counting experience, just soul crystals, elemental crystals and bones, at least hundreds of thousands of units of bronze soul crystals.

Converted into basic resources, it is a gain of more than six figures.

Guo Xiuwen was originally distressed by the excessive resource consumption required to upgrade the soldier’s level.

Especially the research and development of technology, he still thinks the resources needed are exaggerated, but now compared to the harvest, it is actually quite normal.

After cleaning up this batch of burning blood skeletons, Guo Xiuwen didn’t do anything else.

First, the distance here is relatively long, and it will take a certain amount of time to drive back.

In addition, he found that it is still difficult for these soldiers to attack the grieving ghosts and burning blood skeletons.

So he plans to mobilize troops tomorrow, and then deal with these undead.

He hurried all the way and rushed late, and finally returned to the territory before dark.

Nothing to say, it is natural to eat and take a bath again.

Well, the bath is of course with Aaliyah.

But before that, he deliberately chose to use the spiked obstacle blueprint.

[Ding, whether to use 1000 units of wood, 1000 units of stones, and 1000 units of iron ore to lay a 100-meter-long spike obstacle! 】

Good guy, the cost of this project is much more exaggerated than that of the straight road.

After all, only 150 units are needed to lay out one kilometer of straight roads.

And this spiked barrier actually needs 100 units to lay only [-] meters.

Not only the resources are ten times worse, but the distance is also ten times worse.

This advance and retreat is equivalent to a hundred times difference.

Of course, the effects of the two are different. After all, the straight road is acceleration, and it has no attack or defense power.

But the spiked obstacle not only has attack power itself, but also has the ability to fight back.

So such a high price is justified.

After trying the resources needed for the spike obstacle, Guo Xiuwen put it aside.

The next day, the sky was bright.

Guo Xiuwen began to take stock of the current silver-level troops in the territory.

Druids of the six silver ranks.

Twelve silver-rank wolf cavalry.

Six silver elves.

Six silver gray wolves.

Six silver-rank tigers recruited by the refugee camp.

Six silver-ranked ghosts.

A total of 42 silver rank soldiers, and the hero unit Alia.

Guo Xiuwen thought for a while, and brought six elves who were still at the Bronze rank.

Since the Boneyard is full of silver-rank undead, it is very simple to improve their strength.

Then there is the golden tiger and the headless horseman + bone horse.

After finishing these, Guo Xiuwen checked the silver-rank soldier summoning scroll in his hand.

Unknowingly, he also possessed two summoning scrolls of grieving ghosts.

A Headless Horseman + Bone Horse Summoning Scroll.

A Witherbark Guardian summoning scroll.

A summoning scroll for a Burning Skeleton.

This is also equivalent to five silver rank soldiers.

In addition, he has six advanced cards of the silver rank.

Now that he is preparing to go on an expedition, Guo Xiuwen is no longer stingy with the advanced card in his hand.

He directly called Ban Lei and the Frost Giant Wolf to his side, and then directly chose to raise their levels.
