Global Lords: Starting with Halving Recruitment Costs

Chapter 136 Silver Rank Gray Wolf

Chapter 136 Silver Rank Gray Wolf

Elf Tribe
Grade: Bronze

Recruitable arms: Elf (there is a certain chance to recruit elite units) (the recruited elves can consume ten times the resources, and let the elves take up one of the professions of forest guardian/elf archer/night messenger)

Number of available recruits: 5
Number of recruits per week: 5
Recruitment requirements: 3 soul crystals (bronze), 300 units of food, 300 units of wood, 300 units of stone, 300 units of iron ore, 3 units of gems,

If the Elf Tribe is different from other Bronze-rank territories, it is in the number of recruits that can be recruited each week, and the ability to spend ten times the resources to change jobs when recruiting.

There is another change, that is, the recruitment requirement is not black body-level soul crystals, but bronze-level soul crystals.

Of course, this is not a big problem for Guo Xiuwen.

Recruiting an elf does not require many resources, with the support of the resource manager, it only needs [-] units.

But if you want to get a job, you need to spend another [-] units.

There are resources on Guo Xiuwen, but apart from food, there are only rare resources.

After thinking about it, he didn’t recruit immediately, but stepped into the market again.

On the system side, one unit of rare resources can only be exchanged for one hundred units of basic resources.

But it’s different in other places.

”Give me a thousand units of gems!”

Guo Xiuwen no longer chose to sell the rare resources to other lords, but sold them directly to 007.

Because trading to other lords not only can’t sell the price, but also has to pay a handling fee.

Selling it to 007 can at least save the handling fee.

”I was really wrong. I never expected that the lord could not only eliminate the caravans of the cemetery camp, but also withstand the attack of wild monsters, and upgrade the territory to the Bronze rank so quickly.”

”This is the sun coming out from the west!”

Guo Xiuwen looked at the other party in surprise.

For so many days before, 007 stopped talking to him about the normal attitude of a businessman, and made trouble for him on purpose several times.

For example, he was not told at the beginning that he could recycle rare resources.

Although he did not think of this at first, these functions should be the instinctive responsibilities of the market administrator.

If it wasn’t for the fact that he still doesn’t know how to replace the market manager, he would be ready to find a way to kill the other party and replace him with a new manager.

As a result, 007’s attitude became obviously different today.

And the reason, the other party has already said it out now, is because his own strength has improved rapidly. Now he not only killed the caravan of the cemetery camp, but also upgraded the territory to the Bronze rank.

But Guo Xiuwen is not what it used to be now, the other party missed the opportunity to burn the stove, and it will not be so easy to make up for it.

”Hey, I hope the lord will not blame my poor eyesight. By the way, you can take a look at the products on the shelves today. They are all good things.”

007 can be regarded as a qualified businessman, but Guo Xiuwen feels ashamed to be shameless.

Hearing that the other party said that there are good things on the shelves, he directly clicked to check them.

【Leaves of the Tree of Life】【Treasures】

Introduction: Placed in the troop lair, one extra soldier can be recruited every week, which can be used to synthesize high-level equipment
[Price: 50 soul crystals (bronze)]

[Farmer Job Transfer Voucher x100]

[Price: 500 soul crystals (bronze)]

[Advanced Card (Bronze) x100]

[Price: 500 soul crystals (bronze)]

Good guy, Guo Xiuwen took a special look at 007 when he saw the three top-ranked items on the shelves.

However, the other party’s body was covered by the robe, so he couldn’t see the other party’s expression clearly.

But it is conceivable that this is obviously a product that the other party deliberately put on the shelf.

Thinking of this, Guo Xiuwen was stunned for a moment, then he thought of something.

It seems that I also had a branch treasure of the goddess of nature before.

The effect is also to increase the recruitment quota of one soldier every week.

The value of these three things is naturally not low, and the price is not expensive, it can even be said to be very cheap.

So he was not polite to 007, and directly spent [-] Bronze Rank Soul Crystals to buy these three items.

”This is 80 units of basic resources, but there is no food in it.”

After 007 saw that Guo Xiuwen had directly photographed three items, he exchanged them for basic resources of [-] units of rare resources, and then did not forget to remind him.

”You consume a thousand soul crystals, and the number of transactions per day becomes four.”

Guo Xiuwen scratched his head. To be honest, he paid more attention to the number of transactions in the market at first.

But it was unknown before that there were aboriginal caravans and 007 could buy rare resources, and the ratio of rare resources to basic resources was high.

But now, he doesn’t really care much about the transactions with other lords.

”Okay, I’ll see if there is anything good later.”

But he didn’t refuse either.

After all, if you don’t sell things yourself, you can also pick up the leaks.

Last time, the blueprint of Lingtian cost [-] units of crystals, but looking at it now, it is actually not too expensive.

Walking out of the market, Guo Xiuwen recruited five forest guards.

It’s not that he wasn’t curious about the other two professions.

But in the previous lizardmen camp, he already knew that no matter how a soldier chooses his profession, his attributes and skills are similar.

After recruiting five elves, Guo Xiuwen made sure, and found that their talents were indeed advanced silver after adulthood.

The reason why he was so anxious was because he had another matter.

He walked quickly to the gray wolf’s lair, and then took out the treasure [Branch of the Goddess of Nature] placed in the lair

[Ding, it is detected that you have both ”Branches of the Goddess of Nature” and ”Leaves of the Tree of Life”, whether to synthesize the treasure ”Saplings of the Tree of Life”. 】

Sure enough, Guo Xiuwen’s guess was right, the effects of these two treasures are the same.

After thinking for a moment, he tremblingly clicked on the synthesis option.

The reason why he thought about it was that the effect of the treasure was too good. He was worried that if the synthesis failed to meet expectations, it would be a big loss.

But thinking about it later, he had synthesized two pieces of equipment, and the effect of the combined equipment was stronger than the two pieces of equipment alone.

So he still made the choice of synthetic equipment.

After a while, a small seedling appeared in front of him.

【Saplings of the Tree of Life】【Treasures】

Introduction: Binding after planting.

Attribute: The number of soldiers that can be recruited per week for all barracks buildings in the territory +1.

The tree of life seedlings can grow: every time the territory is upgraded to a level, the tree of life seedlings grow +1;

Invest 1 primary life crystals, and the tree of life seedlings will grow +1.

Just after reading the introduction of the tree of life seedlings, Guo Xiuwen’s eyes lit up.

Although, compared to two treasures that can add one soldier each, if placed separately, it will add two additional soldiers that can be recruited.

After turning into a treasure now, the number of additional soldiers becomes only one more per week.

However, the effect of the treasure has also changed from being effective for one barracks to being effective for all soldiers in the territory.

This effect, for the general lord, may be good or bad is not sure.

But for Guo Xiuwen, it can be regarded as a profit.

Because the general lord may not have mentioned one or two barracks so far.

Even if some lords are more fortunate and have more and higher-level barracks, they may not be able to get together because of the resources in their hands.

So even if there are enough recruitment quotas, there is no resource to recruit higher-level soldiers.

But Guo Xiuwen is different from them.

Not only does he have enough barracks, but he also has the resources to recruit additional soldiers.

So when the two additional recruitment quotas from the two treasures became an additional soldier quota for all barracks, it was naturally more cost-effective for him.

In particular, there is another point. Although the previous two treasures can be synthesized into higher-level treasures, their attributes are fixed.

But now this [seedling of the tree of life] is different. After it is planted and bound to a territory, it can continue to improve its level.

And there are two ways to increase the level, one is to increase with the level of the bound territory.

It’s a pity that Guo Xiuwen got this treasure at an embarrassing time, because it is still a difficult thing to do at least for the time being if he wants to upgrade the Silver Territory.

However, the previous two easy-to-raise territory levels did not catch up.

Fortunately, there is another way to increase the level of treasures.

Another way is to invest a lot of primary life element crystals.

Although Guo Xiuwen has not even had a primary life element crystal so far, he has many dark element crystals.

Needless to say, this thing must have dropped from another creature.

He is not worried about this, because as long as there are channels, subsequent resources can naturally be exchanged.

So he chose a location close to the territory and planted the treasure.

After arranging this matter, Guo Xiuwen took the 007 basic resources that he had just exchanged with 80, chose to recruit six elves, and made them all change jobs to forest guardians.

The reason why he chose this profession instead of looking at the other two professions was naturally because he felt that for the territory, the several auxiliary effects of the forest guardian were better than the other two skills.

In addition to recruiting elves, Guo Xiuwen also recruited extra soldiers from the remaining territories.

In the refugee camp, there are more harpies.

After recruiting all the soldiers, there are enough basic resources on him.

Guo Xiuwen was the first to walk up to the gray wolf’s lair.

[Whether to invest in 5 lair hearts (black iron), 12 units of basic resources, and increase the level of the gray wolf lair!whether】

Guo Xiuwen was stunned for a moment, then looked at the resources in his hand, then at the barracks in front of him, and suddenly realized that he had forgotten something.

”Wow, I forgot. With the resource management system, when upgrading the territory, the heart of the lair can also be halved, hahaha!”

Guo Xiuwen was all excited.

After the successful ambush of Saka before, because the harvest was too huge, he was so excited that he forgot that he had such a powerful plug-in as the resource management system.

So from beginning to end, I forgot that the resource management system can halve resources.

Of course, the reason for this is that he was afraid that the system would not recognize the heart of the lair as a resource.

But now after experiencing it himself, he let go of his worries.

And in this way, he suddenly discovered that the number of territories he could upgrade had doubled directly.

Originally, it was because there were only twenty black iron steps and one bronze step lair heart in hand.

He thought it was only enough to raise three barracks to the silver rank.

But now, with the halving effect of the resource management system, he can upgrade the level of six barracks to the silver rank.

In this way, compared with the previous situation, the room for choice is much larger in an instant.

So he chose to upgrade the gray wolf lair without any hesitation.

【Ding!Gray wolf lair is being upgraded]

On the original marble path, some shiny embellishments suddenly appeared.

The appearance of the lair has also changed a lot, from the original simple atmosphere to more luxurious.

The originally delicate and lifelike wolf-shaped statue has become more radiant, and at the same time more majestic and imposing.

After confirming that the lair was successfully upgraded, Guo Xiuwen took a few steps forward to measure the attributes of the gray wolf lair after the upgrade.

gray wolf lair
Grade: Silver

Recruitable arms: gray wolf (silver) (has a certain chance to recruit elite units)

Number of available recruits: 5 (+1)

Number of recruits per week: 5

Remarks: A rather powerful lair of silver rank troops

at last!

After three consecutive upgrades, the system’s evaluation of Gray Wolf’s Lair finally changed.

But now, it is naturally impossible for Guo Xiuwen to focus on this evaluation.

His first concern was that after the silver level, the number of recruits in the gray wolf lair decreased.

From the original ten gray wolves that could be recruited per week, it became only five.

This change is not small, not to mention that it has been reduced by half, and because of this change, he is worried that after all the barracks are upgraded, the number of recruits will be reduced.

In the past, except that the refugee camp was upgraded step by step from the ordinary level to the bronze level, the number of recruits was reduced at the bronze level.

He didn’t reduce the number of recruits because of the consecutive upgrades of the gray wolf lair, thinking it was the uniqueness of the opponent.

But now it seems that he may be too optimistic.

But after thinking about it, Guo Xiuwen chose to recruit a silver-ranked gray wolf to take a look at the specific attributes.
