Tech Giants: Starting from Bankrupt Companies

27: Chapter 27: Star VoyageChapter Summary and Future Outlook: Su Chen meets with the three national treasure-level scientists provided by the system, instantly completing the technical core.

Meanwhile, the battery business of Spark Power is showing explosive growth, with global orders pouring in, providing sufficient ”ammunition” for the grand plan of Xingchen Heavy Industry.

Two lines, one bright and one dark, are advancing in parallel.

After the meeting ended, Su Chen walked alone toward the VIP room.

Pushing open the door, three middle-aged men with distinct temperaments but all exuding an air of capability immediately stood up.

Leading them was a vigorous old man. Although his hair was gray, his back was straight, his eyes were as sharp as an eagle’s, and he carried the dignity of a scholar.

He nodded slightly: ”General Manager Su, Lu Qiming, along with Chen Zhiyuan and Zhao Qing, have come to report.”

His voice was resonant and full of vigor.

Beside him, the slightly younger Chen Zhiyuan had a calm expression, with thick knuckles on his hands, bearing the marks of long-term work on the front lines.

He gave an honest smile as a greeting.

The youngest, Zhao Qing, appeared even more capable, his eyes flashing with keenness for efficiency and cost.

”Gentlemen, I have long admired your names. Please, sit down!”

Su Chen greeted them warmly and shook hands with the three of them one by one.

Under the system’s arrangement, their resumes in this world were flawless—they were all industry giants who had worked for decades in top domestic research institutes or large state-owned enterprises, had retired for various reasons, and were moved by Su Chen’s ambition and his sincerity in ”visiting the thatched cottage three times.”

After they sat down as host and guests, Lu Qiming went straight to the point without any pleasantries: ”General Manager Su, we already know your grand ambition.”

”Building the nation’s heavy equipment is what we have pursued all our lives.”

”No need for polite small talk; please tell us directly how big our stage is, how much resources we have, and how high our goals are?”

Su Chen appreciated this efficiency, and he also said seriously: ”Old Lu is straightforward.”

”The stage is the brand-new ’Xingchen Heavy Industry’, with a registered capital of 3 billion, and subsequent investment is uncapped.”

”As for resources, I will support you with everything I have.”

”As for the goal...” He paused and said word for word, ”The first step, within three years, is to achieve complete independent research, development, and mass production of high-end five-axis linkage CNC machine tools, with performance benchmarking or even surpassing the international top level!”

A stunning brilliance erupted in Lu Qiming’s eyes, and he slapped the sofa armrest heavily: ”Good! That is the spirit we need!”

”Those factories in the country are either just patching things up or thinking about how to buy technology; they are ultimately controlled by others!”

”Since General Manager Su has such determination, I, Lu Qiming, will use these old bones to bet on this last bit of glory with you!”

Chen Zhiyuan also said excitedly: ”With the five-axis as the breakthrough goal, our subsequent four-axis, turning-milling composite, as well as the three-axis large-scale cost reduction that Engineer Zhao is responsible for, will all have a clear technical direction!”

”This is a complete system!”

Zhao Qing added: ”That’s right. High-end breakthrough, mid-end occupation, low-end cost crushing.”

”As long as the technology is mastered, relying on our cost control and large-scale manufacturing capabilities, we can completely reverse-impact the international market!”

The four technical cores (Su Chen also possessed top-tier technical vision at this moment) immediately fell into a heated discussion, from machine tool body casting and CNC system development to the breakthrough sequence of key functional components such as lead screws, guide rails, and tool magazines.

The more they talked, the more they found themselves in agreement.

Su Chen felt at ease.

The system provided not just scientists, but a complete team with a shared ideal and a clear technical route!

Meanwhile, at the headquarters of Spark Technology, Shen Nanpeng was holding a thick stack of reports, informing the core team remaining behind about the good news from another battlefield.

”Everyone, our ’spark super energy’ battery has completely ignited the global market!”

Shen Nanpeng’s face was filled with irrepressible joy, ”Following Huawei and Geely, over the past week, we have completed the signing of the following partnerships:”

”In the consumer electronics field: Samsung and Apple have signed battery supply agreements for their global flagship models! We have also captured Xiaomi, Vivo, and Oppo domestically!”

”In the new energy vehicle field: Tesla has sent three inspection teams, and it is basically confirmed that the next-generation Model series will use our power batteries!”

”Germany’s BBA (Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Audi) also jointly sent a letter of intent, and negotiations are progressing smoothly!”

”Traditional car companies and energy storage: Chery, Great Wall, Changan, and others domestically have all listed us as the highest-level strategic supplier.”

”In addition, multiple large-scale energy storage power station projects have also sent procurement inquiries!”

Wang Ming was surging with emotion as he listened: ”That’s great! This means our technology has been recognized by the world’s top companies!”

Wu Hao and Yang Yang looked at each other and smiled; as direct contributors to the technology, this honor made them feel proud.

Shen Nanpeng nodded and added: ”Currently, all factories under Spark Power are operating at full capacity in three shifts, and orders are already scheduled until the second quarter of next year.”

”I suggest that we must immediately launch the second round of capacity expansion plans, which requires huge capital investment...”

He paused and looked meaningfully in the direction where Su Chen was, ”However, it seems now that General Manager Su has long prepared sufficient ’ammunition’ for us.”

”The profits from the battery business, plus the upcoming financing, are enough to simultaneously support the expansion of Spark Power and... the grand blueprint of Xingchen Heavy Industry.”

In the evening, Su Chen personally escorted Lu Qiming and the other two to the company entrance and arranged for a dedicated vehicle to take them to the hotel to rest, so they could officially start work tomorrow.

Lin Wan followed by his side, her hands already filled with a stack of basic materials about the machine tool industry and the preparation list for Xingchen Heavy Industry.

Her eyes were no longer filled with confusion, only focused dedication.

”How do you feel?” Su Chen asked gently.

”The pressure is great, but I feel even more excited.”

Lin Wan answered honestly, ”Old Lu and the others are truly national treasures; just a few words let me see a whole new world.”

”General Manager Su, I will learn as quickly as possible and not let you down.”

”I believe in you.”

Su Chen looked at her focused profile, which appeared particularly soft and determined under the lights, ”Let’s go, let’s eat first, and then I will accompany you to look at these materials.”

”The first step of Xingchen Heavy Industry, we will take it together.”

Lin Wan felt a warmth in her heart and nodded vigorously: ”Mm!”

In the night, the Spark Technology building was brightly lit, symbolizing its current brilliance.

Not far away, a seed named ”Xingchen Heavy Industry” had already been planted and was about to break through the soil.

Its goal was to support a more solid world beneath this brilliance.

However, beneath this light, the vigilance and hostility from global competitors, as well as the dark currents gathered by Zhou Tianyu, who had left in dismay but harbored resentment, were quietly surging.
