Global Hearings: I Became Qin Shi Huang's Defender

Chapter 12 Burning books and pitting scholars, the truth behind it!

Chapter 12 Burning books and pitting scholars, the truth behind it!

My wife Shinji was stunned when she heard Lin Feng’s words.

Instinctively, he hurriedly checked the tattered Warring States Policy in his hand.

however,
This book is already dilapidated.

Coupled with his violent rummaging just now, a lot of content has become unrecognizable.

Lin Feng said.

The previous content of ”Warring States Policy Preface”.

The first half of the paper had gone to nowhere, and I couldn’t find what Lin Feng said.

”Here, I...” My wife Zhen Er hesitated for a long time, but did not say why.

at this time.

Lin Feng laughed lightly.

”The ”Warring States Policy” book in the school, and the remaining volumes of the Chinese book, are mixed together in confusion.”

”There are also eight articles from other countries, so there are not enough.”

”If the ministers are different from each other, they will be slightly followed by the time, and those who are not in sequence will be complemented by each other. In addition to repetition, there are 33 chapters.”

”This is the first few sentences of the ”Preface to the Warring States Policy”, defender of the opposing side, you should be able to understand what these sentences mean, right?”

Lin Feng is like a treasure, without the slightest pause, he recited the first few sentences of the Warring States Policy verbatim.

As one of the most experienced historians on Earth, Lin Feng naturally memorizes these almost basic knowledge by heart.

My wife Shinji was obviously taken aback when she heard Lin Feng’s words.

The first few words of Zhan Guoce turned out to be this?

Just when he was about to question.

But he saw lines of bullet screens on the screen in front of him.

”That’s right, what Lin Feng said is verbatim.”

”It’s so strong, you can actually memorize them all.”

”Unfortunately, I thought that Lin Feng really didn’t understand history, but now it seems that he is no worse than those historians!”

”You are wrong to say that. Lin Feng’s attainments in history are definitely much better than those historians.”

”That’s right. Historians can’t find Shiji or Sima Qian’s tomb, but Lin Feng can accurately tell the location, even down to meters.”

”This is enough to prove how amazing Lin Feng’s historical knowledge is.”

……

On the barrage, many Dragon Country audiences spoke one after another.

Although they don’t understand history like Lin Feng.

But the Warring States Policy, after all, is a historical document of Blue Star’s existence.

The second-hand copy of my wife is just a copy written in the late Ming Dynasty.

There are still many copies of this kind in Long Country.

Those historians who have seen the Warring States Policy, and some collectors who have a copy of the Warring States Policy, have confirmed what Lin Feng said.

My wife, Shinji, suddenly thumped in her heart.

It seems that the situation is getting worse!
Lin Feng naturally saw my wife Shinji’s expression.

”Now, do you understand?”

”The author of the Warring States Policy is actually someone else. Liu Xiang is only responsible for the compilation and revision.”

”To be precise, only this preface was written by Liu Xiang.”

”As a member of the royal family of the Han Dynasty, his interests are naturally the interests of the imperial power of the Han Dynasty.”

”In order to maintain the rule, it is also reasonable to criticize Daqin and discredit Qin Shihuang.”

”Burning books and burying Confucianism is obviously a move that benefits the country and the people, and is conducive to the inheritance of civilization.”

”However, in order to maintain the rule, the royal family of the Han Dynasty made it worthless.”

”Burning books and burying Confucianism, although it sounds like a crime that destroys civilization with the anger of both humans and gods.”

”But, in this world.”

”Let’s not talk about you, a small foreign race, even in the Dragon Kingdom, how many people really understand the history of that era?”

Lin Feng asked loudly.

My wife Shinji was speechless for a moment.

at the same time.

Those historians, including Old Lin and Academician Li, also blushed.

Fortunately, I am still a living dictionary of Long Kingdom’s history, an authoritative figure.

But after so many years, even the historical records could not be found.

Look at this young man.

Looks like he’s only in his 20s.

The historical details he has grasped are actually terrifyingly deep!
Even the historical records, which they have been fascinated for a long time, know where it is buried.

This point can be described as miraculous.

These historians, racking their brains, couldn’t figure out how Lin Feng knew the location of Shi Ji’s burial.

What makes them even more puzzled is that.

Not only Shiji, but even Sima Qian died here!
Although there is only the Clothes Tomb, it is enough to make these historians of Longguo Ding feel excited!
This is a conversation spanning nearly 2000 years.

For those of them, who have dedicated themselves to the history of the Dragon Kingdom, how can they not be excited?
That’s why Lin Feng said so.

In their hearts, apart from a little shame, they didn’t have any negative emotions.

in contrast.

These historians who were originally in high positions and respected by the people of the Dragon Kingdom, who are over half a century old, have some expectations.

I look forward to meeting Lin Feng after the hearing is over.

Ask Lin Feng, if you still know some historical secrets that have not been recorded in the Dragon Kingdom!
Everyone continued to pay attention to Lin Feng’s movements.

Curiosity was also firmly grasped by Lin Feng’s few words, and he wanted to see how much historical news Lin Feng could explode next.

The barrage is one after another.

”Before when Lin Feng said that burning books and burying scholars was a great merit, I was still a little angry in my heart. How could I support such atrocities? But now I believe it a little bit in my heart.”

”Yes, in order to maintain the rule, it is a common thing in history to criticize the previous dynasty. After Lin Feng’s explanation, the matter is much more reasonable.”

”Judging from Lin Feng’s tone, could it be that burning books and burying scholars are some secrets that are not known?”

”There must be, otherwise how could Lin Feng be so calm?”

”Brother Lin Feng, don’t hide it, I really want to know...”

The bullet screens followed one after another, basically all sent by Longguo netizens.

The long-term lack of history has given them an almost unlimited thirst for knowledge.

The corners of Lin Feng’s mouth curled up slightly, and he smiled softly.

It is not scary for people to have no knowledge.

The terrible thing is that there is no self-motivation to learn, no thirst for knowledge.

Lin Feng was still very satisfied with the performance of the Dragon Kingdom audience.

He originally planned to spread the history of the Dragon Kingdom to the entire Dragon Kingdom, and to carry forward the excellent 5000-year civilization.

Seeing the barrage of these dragon country people full of thirst for knowledge.

Naturally, Lin Feng would not hide it.

He didn’t hide anything, and nodded heavily.

The thirst for knowledge of the Dragon Kingdom audience, which had already reached its peak, exploded in an instant.

Some Longguo people called one after another to inform their friends.

After all, there are still many people in the Dragon Kingdom who no longer watch the live broadcast and just show it off.

They were unaware of the reversal that happened.

this moment.

All the people of Longguo who were still watching the live broadcast called their friends and friends at almost the same time to share the joy in their hearts.

Many people who have been in trouble from the beginning and have no idea of the development of the incident have also received calls from friends.

After hearing that the game that was bound to be lost, the first round was a draw, and the second round may even usher in victory.

The people of the Dragon Kingdom who were originally in a bad state instantly regained their spirits, turned on the computer directly, and returned to the live broadcast room.

It’s bad, just because there is no hope in sight.

Now, the dawn is just around the corner, they naturally want to see the victory of the Dragon Kingdom, and they also want to know the truth behind the burning of books and burying scholars!
Lin Feng looked at more and more barrages, and smiled.

”Presumably everyone’s understanding of burning books and burying Confucianism is to bury all scholars alive and burn all books that carry civilization.”

”But you don’t know that burning books and burying Confucian scholars are actually two different events. In order to maintain the rule of the great Han, Liu Xiang forcibly combined the two originally different events.”

”Do you still remember the words I said before, the books are the same, the cars are the same track, the degree is the same system, the behavior is the same, and the region is the same?”

Lin Feng’s words were no longer meant to my wife Shinji.

It’s on the screen and barrage, the people of the Dragon Kingdom who are eager to know the truth of history.

From the very beginning, Lin Feng never regarded my wife Shinji as an opponent at all.

From the very beginning, Lin Feng knew that he was absolutely sure of rectifying Qin Shihuang’s name.

Now, victory is at hand.

Lin Feng simply took this opportunity to popularize historical knowledge to the people of Dragon Kingdom.

These historical knowledge, in the previous life on the earth, are basically known by a liberal arts student.

But in this world, it has become a little-known thing.

In line with the principle of popularizing history and culture, Lin Feng naturally would not have any secrets.

”History has two sides.”

”Things written in history books may not all be correct. When looking at problems, everyone must bring a people-oriented perspective, and analyze problems from the perspective of people’s hearts and interests.”

”To evaluate a dynasty, one must first understand the background of the dynasty.”

”When the Qin Dynasty was established, it was full of wars and turmoil, and a thousand wastes were waiting to be rebuilt.”

”Unifying cultural standards, ensuring accuracy by feet, and standards by horizontal stones, was an imminent matter at that time.”

”If you don’t burn the books, how can the books be the same as the text?”

”The characters of the six countries are different, and there are several different ways of writing a character. The communication of civilizations is extremely inconvenient. There are serious cultural gaps between regions, and they cannot be integrated. How can we achieve a unified nation and a more civilized civilization? A good inheritance?”

”Now I ask everyone, if it is from the perspective of unifying the language, is burning books a thing that is more conducive to cultural inheritance?”

Lin Feng asked loudly.

Hear this.

The audience in Dragon Kingdom fell silent for a moment, and their thoughts were completely driven by Lin Feng.

Unifying the text was indeed an imminent matter for the situation at that time.

Only when writing and language are unified, national unity and cohesion will be stronger.

The possibility of being split is also smaller.

And the grander the civilization, the easier it is to pass on.

It can be said.

If the text cannot be unified, it will be full of uncertain risks for the entire country, and it will always face the loss of being divided.

and so.

Lin Feng’s words are completely correct from the perspective of human nature and rationality.

At this moment.

Lin Feng spoke slowly again.

”Also, even if it is burning books, Qin Shihuang will keep books on divination, medicine, and farming, no matter which country’s language or language they are in.”

”Although divination was superstitious at that time, there were divination behaviors in both China and the West. This was an inevitable product of the divine right of kings after the development of civilization to a certain extent, and it cannot be said to be a fault.”

”As for medicine and farming, these books that are beneficial to people’s production, personal safety, and civilization inheritance, no matter which country they came from, were all preserved by Qin Shihuang.”

”If he is really a faint king, will he keep these books that can benefit Daqin?”

Lin Feng asked back.

When the people of the Dragon Kingdom heard the words, their emotions were mobilized even more intensely.

Medical skills, farming books, these are treasures that benefit the country and the people!
Even if it was a book from another country, Qin Shihuang was able to keep it?
This……

How can this be the behavior of a foolish king or a sinful king?
Until now, for the first time, all the people of the Dragon Kingdom have doubts about the argument that Qin Shihuang is a sinful king.

Their previous attitude change was only aimed at Lin Feng.

For Qin Shihuang, they still think in their hearts that Qin Shihuang is a sinner of the Dragon Kingdom civilization, and they don’t have a good impression.

but now.

Hearing what Lin Feng said.

The attitude of the people of the Dragon Kingdom towards Qin Shihuang has quietly changed unconsciously.

Although the relevant records in historical records have not yet been unearthed.

But after Lin Feng’s analysis.

Since Shutongwen can promote the development of civilization, the operation of burning books is not only not at fault, but also has a huge credit!

But right now, there is another problem.

That is cheating Confucianism!
How to explain the murder of Confucian scholars?

The curiosity of all the people in the Dragon Country increased instead of diminished, and they all looked forward to waiting for Lin Feng to continue speaking.
