Global Hearings: I Became Qin Shi Huang's Defender

Chapter 1 Civilized Court, Trial Historical Celebrities!

Chapter 1 Civilized Court, Trial Historical Celebrities!
Dragon country.

In Daxia Library, the sound of flipping books can be heard endlessly.

”Oh... I can’t even find a decent historical biography.”

Lin Feng picked up the books on the bookshelf, looked at them twice, frowned and shook his head, then put the books down helplessly.

Seeing his appearance, the old librarian couldn’t help but shook his head with a chuckle.

He remembered that five days ago, this young man named Lin Feng suddenly came to the Daxia Library and began to browse through various classics in the historical area.

He came early every day and left until very late.

It’s just that every time I come here in good spirits, I come back in disappointment.

He kept muttering and muttering to himself, as if he was looking for something, but he didn’t seem to find anything.

Seeing that Lin Feng was still busy, the librarian didn’t bother, but went away to go about his own business.

In fact.

Lin Feng was really looking for something, looking for the historical biography of the Dragon Kingdom.

Just five days ago.

Lin Feng traveled from the earth to this parallel world.

The country he is in now is called Dragon Kingdom. Although the name is different, compared with the motherland in his previous life, it is almost the same in terms of geographical location, land area, and even customs.

Even the pattern of the entire world is strikingly similar to the former earth.

But through the memories fused during time travel, Lin Feng knew.

There are also huge historical fault lines in this world.

In his previous life, Lin Feng was originally a historian.

After merging his memory and knowing that there is a historical gap in this world, he went to the Great Xia Library to look through historical books.

These five days come down.

Lin Feng, who was soaking in the library, finally had some clues.

”It seems that the history of this world is not just as simple as a fault. Some places are seriously missing, as if they were forcibly erased.” Lin Feng murmured secretly in his heart.

The so-called historical fault is simply not knowing what happened during that time period.

But without history, it’s different.

According to the records of this world’s classics, Qin Huang Han Wu and the major dynasties also existed in the long river of history.

It’s just that the amount of information in it is pitiful.

For example, Qin Shihuang only found records of him burning books, burying scholars, and killing indiscriminately, but nothing else.

Regarding the description of the Qin Dynasty, there are only four pale and weak words ”the second generation will die”.

For the introduction of Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty, there are only a few words. There is no record of his achievements when he was young, and there are only records of being stupid when he was old.

As for Zhu Yuanzhang, in addition to knowing that he was born as a beggar, the subsequent records directly jump to him killing heroes and crossing rivers and demolishing bridges.

This is still the case with these relatively popular emperors, let alone other emperors.

But who is Lin Feng?

He was on Earth, but he was a nationally renowned historian.

Although there is a lot of missing in the history of this world, after five days of hard work, Lin Feng can conclude with the limited known conditions.

The history of the Dragon Kingdom, and the motherland of the Earth, can be said to be the same!
but,

The lack of history has brought a series of chain reactions to this world.

Human beings in this world, because they don’t pay attention to history, pour more human cost and resource cost on the road of technological development.

I only know the rapid development of science and technology, and ask for it from nature regardless of the consequences.

This also led to the rapid consumption of Blue Star’s resources!
Although the level of science and technology is advanced now, Blue Star’s resources have also reached the point of being extremely scarce!

Not only Dragon Country, but even those developed countries are also facing the dilemma of insufficient resources.

Because of scarcity of resources.

The relationship between countries has also become more subtle.

There is constant friction between countries.

”Snapped!”

Lin Feng closed the last book in the historical area.

His face was solemn, and the worry in his eyes was undisguised.

Viewing the present should learn from the past, and the past cannot make the present.

Combining the history and the current situation, the situation between countries cannot be more obvious.

Scarcity of resources, overpopulation!
Throughout the ages, there is only one solution.

war!

Every fresh human life will eventually become a cold number.

Take Dragon Kingdom as an example.

Although Dragon Country is rich in species resources, vast in territory, and has a large population, it is different from Earth, and Blue Star’s Dragon Country’s population has swelled to 30 billion!
Population consumption, coupled with the development of science and technology, and unrestrained mining, the resources consumed are completely astronomical!
Lin Feng predicted.

If the resources are further consumed, a large-scale war is very likely to break out in the entire Blue Star in the near future.

With the technological level of Blue Star more advanced than that of Earth, once the war starts, the consequences will be unimaginable!

But the fact is just as Lin Feng guessed.

Conflicts have erupted in some small countries with insufficient resources.

Many experts also stood up on TV, calling on all countries to remain calm, try to avoid armed conflicts, allocate resources rationally, and work together to tide over the difficulties.

but,

The people of these small countries are already starving, who has the time to listen to experts’ nonsense?
”Ugh……”

Lin Feng sighed deeply, feeling powerless.

As a historian, the last thing Lin Feng wants to see is the lack of history.

But now that war is coming, who cares about history?

The history of the Dragon Kingdom is connected with the motherland of the earth.

The people of Long Kingdom also have Yanhuang blood flowing from their bodies.

Lin Feng’s three views have always been upright, otherwise he wouldn’t be puzzled by the lack of history in this Dragon Kingdom.

As descendants of Yan and Huang, Lin Feng naturally wanted to fill in the gaps in the history of the Dragon Kingdom in this world with his meager strength.

He wanted to tell Longguo that there were three emperors and five emperors, Suiren made fire, Shennong sowed grain, Yao established ordinances, and Dayu controlled the water...

He wants to tell the world that there used to be four ancient civilizations, but now the three kingdoms are all destroyed, and only the Dragon Kingdom has survived through the ages.

No matter what.

In the current situation, who has the time to care about history?
”If there are no accidents, the war may not be far away. Who cares about history at this time? It’s not bad to survive.”

Lin Feng sighed softly and walked out of Daxia Library.

Next, I have to prepare for possible wars in the future.

However, the moment Lin Feng just left the house.

”Look, the sky...”

”what is that!?”

”It looks like a palace... no, that palace is going to fall!”

Passers-by screamed in surprise, and more and more people looked up at the sky.

Lin Feng also followed their gazes.

I saw a huge and majestic palace falling from the sky.

With the landing of the palace, the scorching sun in the sky was also blocked, and the black reflection enveloped Lin Feng.

There were bursts of piercing screams in the street.

Although people didn’t know where the palace came from, seeing that it was about to hit the top of their heads, the people who came back to their senses immediately ran for their lives, crying and screaming.

however,
Just when Lin Feng was about to find a tall building to hide.

The palace in the sky suddenly stopped falling and was suspended in the air.

There was a long pause.

Including Lin Feng, many people poked their heads tremblingly and looked at the sky.

The architectural style of the whole palace is very strange, neither like an eastern palace nor like a western castle.

It’s weird, but it’s also beautiful.

At the bottom of the palace, there are clearly engraved golden symbols, which look like some kind of unknown characters.

Although the text is weird.

But as if they were born with it, Lin Feng recognized the meaning of these symbols just by looking at them——

Civilized court!

”Civilized court? Eh? How do I know these symbols?”

Next to Lin Feng, a young man said.

Several other people also looked deeply convinced.

It seems that like Lin Feng, although they have never seen these symbols, they can see the meaning of the symbols at a glance.

However, when everyone was whispering.

[Since Blue Star’s comprehensive civilization level has reached level 0.9, the civilized court will open in 5 minutes! At that time, the Civilization Tribunal will start to judge the controversial celebrities in various countries in the long history, judge whether they have helped or damaged the continuation of civilization, and finally give them unique titles based on their merits and demerits. 】

[Among all countries, a defender will be selected to defend the country’s celebrities. 】

[The defenders of various countries defend successfully, and the country will receive resource rewards or scientific and technological rewards. 】

[If the contestant fails to defend, the country will be punished by a civilized court. 】

[The trial process of the civilized court will be broadcast live and synchronized on major media around the world, and everyone can watch the progress of the trial at any time. 】

[The following are the rules of civilized courts, please keep them in mind! 】

[1. When the defender is defending, defenders from other countries can attack the defender with historical facts, and if the attack is successful, they will be rewarded by that country. 】

[2. Each country can provide props to the defenders of their own country, and these props will be sent to the defenders through the micro-wormhole transportation technology. 】

[3. If the defense is successful, in addition to the country where the defender is located has resources and scientific and technological rewards, the defender will also receive special rewards. 】

[4. Defenders, please try to defend as much as possible. The resources and technology rewarded by the civilized court are enough to make your country’s civilization level officially surpass the 0.9 level of civilization and enter a new era of civilization! 】

【倒计时5分钟开始，4:59/58/57……】

A mysterious voice full of mechanical sense sounded in everyone’s minds, and at the same time, clear letters appeared in their minds.

And on the street, riots gradually broke out.

What happened today had a huge impact on everyone!
Even around Lin Feng, there was endless chatter and discussion.

”What the hell!? I don’t have hallucinations, do I? What kind of trial, defense.”

”I heard it too, it doesn’t look like a hallucination!”

”Is it an alien invasion?”

”No, in my opinion, it’s a conspiracy by the beautiful country!”

”You should look at the subtitles in your mind. Although you don’t know what a defender is, there will be resources and scientific and technological rewards once the defense is successful!”

”And there are rewards for defenders, too.”

”I don’t care about other things. If the resource reward is real, it would be great.”

”Sigh, you guys are too optimistic. It’s not like you don’t know about the broken history of our Dragon Kingdom.”

”Yeah, don’t know who will be chosen as defender.”

”It’s better if you’re a historian, but if you’re illiterate...”

”Then we will be miserable.”

……

Everyone was chattering and discussing.

Except for the Dragon Kingdom, although other countries did not see the palace in the sky, they also heard the mysterious voice.

The whole world is talking about civilized courts, advocates.

Time passed by minute by minute.

At the end of the countdown, the mysterious voice rang through Lin Feng’s mind again.

[Long Kingdom citizen Lin Feng, are you willing to be the defender of Dragon Kingdom? 】

”It turned out to be me?”

Lin Feng glanced at the unresponsive crowd around him, feeling a little surprised in his heart.

But soon, this surprise turned into excitement.

The history of the Dragon Kingdom is seriously lacking, and even the most authoritative historians don’t necessarily know much about it.

But I am different.

The history of the Dragon Kingdom is the same as that of the motherland on earth, and I have already mastered it all.

I’m afraid that in the entire Dragon Kingdom, there is no one more suitable to be this defender than myself!

”I originally had the idea to complete the missing history of the Dragon Kingdom.”

”It’s rare to have this opportunity now.”

”As long as we can successfully defend historical figures, not only can we promote history and culture, but whether it’s me or the Dragon Kingdom, we can also get rewards.”

”In that case...”

”I am willing to be the defender of the Dragon Kingdom!”

Lin Feng’s eyes gradually became firmer.

[The defender is bound successfully, and the defender is being sent to the civilized court...]

Just when Lin Feng was teleported.

In the minds of everyone in the world, a mysterious voice also sounded.
