Chapter 3 3, Creature Rampage!

Chapter 3 3, Creature Rampage!
”Huhu...” Zhou Jie took a deep breath.

After more than an hour of felling, all the trees within a radius of 30 meters around his wooden house had disappeared, exposing a large open space.

And he was already so tired that his whole body was sweating, even his clothes were soaked.

He hadn’t eaten or drank any water yet, and tree-cutting was too much work for him.

If you don’t rest, if you continue like this, you may collapse yourself.

Although the attack power of this ax is [-] times that of an ordinary axe, it consumes much more energy than an ordinary axe!

”Let’s cut it again at the end! After cutting down dozens of trees, we have obtained enough things. Let’s stop here today.”

After speaking, Zhou Jie raised the ax again.

”Pfft!”

Another piece of tree fell in response.

But this time, Zhou Jie had an unexpected harvest.

[Hint: Get wood x10! ]
[Hint: Get leaves x5! ]
[Hint: Get hemp rope x8! ]
[Hint: Get metal mine x15! ]
[Hint: Get ore x10]

[Hint: Get a bear trap x1! ]
……

”Bear trap?” Zhou Jie suddenly raised his spirits.

At this moment, he has obtained a lot of supplies in his backpack.

Zhou Jie counted: wood x550, hemp rope x254, leaf x885, metal mine x95, stone mine x155, pet feed x25, animal trap x1!

This is the result of his hard work for more than an hour, and it can be said that he is very rich.

With a slight movement of his mind, a bear trap, taken out of the warehouse, landed at his feet.

The clip is not big, a circle bigger than a mousetrap, and it is made of metal.

”It seems that the food problem depends on it. It’s almost dark. I set up this trap in the forest. I hope I can get a good harvest when I wake up tomorrow morning.”

Zhou Jie walked into the woods, looking for a suitable place to arrange it.

Bear traps are very small. If you are facing a relatively large prey, even if you catch it, the trap may be pulled out and taken away by the other party.

So the location is very important.

”It’s not bad here. The distance between the two trees is very small. Larger beasts should not pass here.”

Zhou Jie found a good position, the gap between the two trees can only allow one person to pass sideways.

The beast that will walk from here cannot be too big.

After setting up the trap, Zhou Jie licked his lips.

His lips were already a little cracked.

A person can last about seven days without food, but not three days without water.

So water is more important and precious than food.

He looked around.

There are some low shrubs and broad-leaved plants at the foot of the big tree.

Their leaves are fat and broad, and they are all wet in the humid air, and some even condense into water droplets, ready to drip.

Zhou Jie walked over and stuck out his tongue directly at the wet, plump, flowing leaves.

Then lick.

Even a drop of water is very precious now.

”It’s a good thing I’ve practiced it before. I’m so good at licking that I won’t have a tongue cramp after licking for half an hour.”

So Zhou Jie performed a dog drinking water on the leaves.

The tongue touches the smooth and tender surface of the leaves, greedily sliding and sucking on it.

Take away all the moisture without leaving.

Some leaves were even licked through by him!
He licked dozens of leaves in a short while, although each leaf may only get a few drops of water, but in the case of extreme thirst, the water added to these leaves is enough for him to relieve his body’s lack of water up.

”It’s getting dark, it’s time to strengthen the wooden house.”

After Zhou Jie ravaged the wet leaves, he looked at the darkening sky and finally walked back to the wooden house. At the same time, he opened the synthesis area of his bracelet.

After choosing the dilapidated wooden house, a prompt appeared on the virtual screen:

[Will you begin to strengthen the dilapidated wooden house?Wood 550/5. ]
Zhou Jie chose OK without hesitation.

[Synthesis complete! ]

[Obtain: Ordinary wooden house! ]

[Do you want to continue hardening?Wood 545/10. ]
Does the second reinforcement require twice as much wood as the first?

So is the third time 20 pieces of wood? The fourth time is 40 pieces of wood?
”OK!” Zhou Jie chose to reinforce again.

[Synthesis complete!Obtained: Stoneware Log House! ]
[Do you want to continue hardening?Wood 535/20. ]
Sure enough, it doubles every time!
Zhou Jie reinforced it three more times.

Another 140 pieces of wood were consumed, leaving 395 pieces left.

And his wooden house at this time has been upgraded to a bronze-level wooden house.

Its properties appear on the virtual screen:
[Bronze-level wooden house. ]
[Physical Defense: 450. ]
[Magic Defense: 85. ]
[Durability: 100 points. ]
[Recovery power: 1 point of durability per minute. ]
[Evaluation: It is already a reliable shelter. ]
At this time, the appearance of the wooden house has also changed, and it looks very thick and strong.

It’s no longer the dilapidated and leaky house at the beginning.

”In the current state of this house, even a rhinoceros cannot penetrate it!”

”Very good. It is very difficult for ordinary players to cut down a tree on the first day. At most, they can only upgrade the wooden house to the normal level. And I directly upgraded to the bronze level, which is already a blow to dimensionality reduction. It seems You can sleep well tonight.”

Zhou Jie looked at the virtual screen on the bracelet with great satisfaction, and then closed the door of the wooden house.

”Next, let’s see what will happen after night falls!”

……

it’s dark.

There were restless sounds from the forest outside the wooden house, the low growls of wild animals, and the rustling of leaves, which were especially obvious in the quiet night.

Zhou Jie opened the chat area:

”What to do! There seems to be a wild animal wandering outside my house. I only cut down 1/3 of the tree today. There is no wood to strengthen the house!”

”I’m so hungry! But the beast outside my house seems to be even hungrier!”

”It’s banging on my door!”

”Tigers are bigger than rhinos on Earth!”

”Help!”

”Why is the moon in the sky blood red?”

”Don’t leave the house!”

”Ah! The trees are alive, and the weeds have become spirits! I am entangled in a bush, away from the bush...”

[Current number of survivors: 7466494383]

The numbers are precise and cold.

At the same time, the beating is constantly decreasing, and the beating speed is several times that of the day!
”boom!”

At this moment, Zhou Jie was startled by a loud noise outside the wooden house.

Here comes the beasts attacking his cabin!
The attack just now was so powerful that it even shook the ground!
[Bronze-level wooden house, durability: 95! ]
On the virtual screen, the durability of the wooden house appeared, and it was directly reduced by five points!
When the durability is zero, the wooden house will be completely damaged!
”Boom boom boom!”

Triple hit!
[Durability: 80! ]
Zhou Jie’s pupils shrank suddenly!

This is a bronze-level wooden house that has been strengthened four times! Can it only withstand a dozen more attacks like that just now?

He suddenly became nervous, and then took out the air blade battle ax directly from the system space.

If the wooden house is really breached, he won’t just catch it!

Fortunately, the attack outside the cabin stopped.

Obviously, those four attacks were only tentative, and the opponent didn’t know if there was anyone inside, so wasting energy here was not a good choice.

”Shushasha...” The footsteps got farther and farther away.

”Huh...” Zhou Jie heaved a sigh of relief, and sat on the ground as if he had collapsed.

It took him a while before he recovered.Slowly came to the wall of the wooden house and looked outside through the gap.

A blood moon hung in the sky, and the blood-red moonlight shone in the forest. Under the bloody light, countless black shadows danced wildly among the demons.

Those tall trees seemed to come alive, they kept twitching their thick branches, and the roots of the trees kept wriggling on the ground, and they even started to prey on animals!
”Damn, isn’t that the bush I just licked? He actually caught a small animal!? I just licked all the leaves!”

Under the moonlight, he saw countless thorny branches of the bush, directly piercing through the body of a small animal.Make it look like a hedgehog. This surprised Zhou Jie, and then he was terrified.

This low shrub is more dangerous than Aunt Wang!Don’t lick it!

The roaring and howling of wild beasts, the incessant panting when the throat is locked, the blood spurting out when the artery is cut off, the constant kicking struggle when being entangled, preyed on and penetrated by trees...

Is this the night of the wild world?
Is this the rage under the blood moon?
How many people will die in this forest tonight?
Zhou Jie’s face was solemn, and he hugged his air blade battle ax tightly. Only by touching the delicate handle of the axe and feeling the heavy weight can he feel a little bit safe.
