Chapter 245: A Story About Eating

“What can I do?”

“Let me tell you a story. Listen to me.”

Ji Qingyan nodded with a serious expression.

“One day, an elephant was pooping on the grass. After pooping, it realized that there was no paper. A little white rabbit happened to come by. The elephant said, ‘Little White Rabbit, do you shed your fur?’ The Little White Rabbit couldn’t answer, so the elephant used the little white rabbit to wipe his butt.”

“That’s disgusting. Can’t you talk about something else?”

!!
“Don’t worry, I’m not done yet.” Lin Yi said:

“The next day, the elephant was eating. After eating, he realized that there was no paper to wipe his mouth. A little black rabbit happened to appear next to him. The elephant asked, ‘Little Black Rabbit, do you shed your fur?’ The little black rabbit couldn’t answer, so the elephant used the little black rabbit to wipe his mouth.”

“Then the little black rabbit said, ‘Mr Elephant, I’m the Little White Rabbit from yesterday.ʼ”

“AH!

“Lin Yi, you’re so disgusting. Are you going to let me eat or not? !”

Ji Qingyan felt like she was about to go crazy. She hated that her legs weren’t long enough, or else she would have kicked him away.

“I’m here to help you lose weight,” Lin Yi said with a smile. “Do you have any appetite now?”

“I’m going to be sick,” Ji Qingyan said. “I’m not eating, I’m not eating.”

“Look, the desired effect has been achieved.”

“If I’m not eating, then you can’t eat either. I’ll be able to eat again after a while though.”

“I’ve even brought out my trump card, and you can still eat it? Are you an elephant?”

“Lin Yi, I’ll kill you!”

Ji Qingyan rushed over in anger and pushed Lin Yi onto the sofa.

“You still dare to play this game with me? I’ll tickle your feet.”

“I’m wearing shoes today, and you can’t take them off.”

“Then I’ll go somewhere else.”

“I’m not afraid of being tickled anywhere else, so your move won’t work.”

Creak….

“Senior…”

The office door was pushed open and time seemed to have stopped at this moment.

“I… did I come at a bad time?” He Yuanyuan asked tentatively.

“Don’t misunderstand. It’s not what you think,” Ji Qingyan explained in a panic, her face like a ripe peach.

It was not even 1:00 yet. Why was she here?

It was too embarrassing.

“Don’t worry, Senior, you can explain slowly. I’m listening,” He Yuanyuan said. “I really want to know, other than making love, what else can one do in this position?”

“What’s wrong with you?!”

Lin Yi yelled, “You’re already an adult, so why are you still watching? Get out of here and come back in two hours!”

“Two hours?”

He Yuanyuan glared at him. “Boss, you’re so full of yourself, I’m leaving now.”

“Why are you leaving? Stay here!” Ji Qingyan said.

“I don’t think that’s a good idea,” Lin Yi said, pretending to be troubled.

“Why’s that?!”

“If we were to do two at a time, I’m afraid my body won’t be able to take it.”

“Huh?”

Ji Qingyan was stunned for a moment before she understood what Lin Yi meant.

“Lin Yi, if you’re going to keep talking nonsense, I’ll strangle you to death.” Ji Qingyan said angrily. “Get up, why are you still lying there?”

“Uh, okay.”

“Ah, it’s so sour. We’ve known each other for so many years, but this is the first time I’ve seen my senior wearing a jersey. Boss, you’re really good with women.”

“I’m just showing off my legs. What kind of luck is that? It’s just a light drizzle.”

“It’s just a light drizzle?”

He Yuanyuan gave an understanding expression, as if she was saying that she knew everything.

“That’s right. It’s nothing.”

He Yuanyuan gave an ambiguous smile. “Since Senior Sister won’t let me leave, then I won’t leave. It just so happens that I haven’t gotten any lunch yet.”

Once bitten, twice shy. He Yuanyuan did not stand on ceremony this time.

She picked up her chopsticks and started eating.

Ji Qingyan wasn’t happy. I begged for a long time for him to make this for me. Why are you eating it?

Thinking of this, Ji Qingyan took her phone and sent a WeChat message to Lin Yi.

Ji Qingyan, “Tell Yuanyuan a story.”

Lin Yi, “Okay. What story?”

Ji Qingyan, “The story of the Little White Rabbit and the elephant.”

“Why do you want me to tell her this story?” Lin Yi asked.

“If she eats all the food you cooked for me, then what am I supposed to eat? I can’t let her take advantage of me.”

“What’s the big deal? She ate it once before, and you didn’t say anything.” Lin Yi said.

“That was a one-off, okay? Just eating it once is enough. I’ve only eaten it a few times myself.”

Lin Yi, “???”

What kind of mentality was that?

Ji Qingyan, “Go, Go, go.”

Lin Yi coughed lightly under Ji Qingyan’s threat.

“Yuanyuan, how about I tell you a little story about eating?”

“Sure, I can eat while listening.” He Yuanyuan said.

“The story goes like this, there was an elephant on the grassland…”

“Haha…”

He Yuanyuan started laughing as soon as the story started, stunning Lin Yi.

‘I haven’t even started yet, why are you laughing?’

“Boss, is the story you want to tell about an elephant wiping its butt with a white rabbit?”

“How do you know?”

“I’ve heard of it before,” He Yuanyuan said as she ate, unaffected.

“There’s more to come,” Lin Yi said. “I’ll tell you more.”

“I know the rest as well. He wiped my mouth with the little black rabbit the next day. Is that it?”

“You even know that?”

“Yeah.” He Yuanyuan said as she picked up a piece of rib,

“There’s a third part to the story. On the third day, a little hedgehog came and the elephant picked its teeth with it. Then, the little hedgehog told him that it was the Little White Rabbit from the day before.”

“Urgh…”

Before He Yuanyuan could explain why the Little White Rabbit had become a hedgehog, Ji Qingyan could no longer stand it.

She rushed to the bathroom and retched.

When she came out, her face was pale. Looking at the four dishes and one soup on the table, she instantly lost her apetite.

“Senior Sister, why are you vomiting?!” He Yuanyuan was stunned. “Don’t tell me you’re pregnant? Didn’t you say that you two are innocent? How can something happen just by rubbing against each other?”

“What’s there to be happy about? Do you know how disgusting your stories are?”

“Disgusting? Isn’t this just a story about eating? Why are you taking it seriously?”

He Yuanyuan ate another piece of ribs with relish. It was so delicious.

Ji Qingyan, “…”

She wanted to die.

Lin Yi was the same as He Yuanyuan. He wasn’t affected at all and enjoyed a good lunch.

Ji Qingyan, on the other hand, did not even want to give it a try. She didn’t even eat one bite.

After the meal, He Yuanyuan took the initiative to clean up the leftovers in the kitchen before returning to the office.

“Didn’t you want to talk about the investment? Let’s start now,” Lin Yi said.

They had something important to talk about, but they just looked at each other.

“The procedures for Lingyun Capital have been completed. We can officially start operating in the near future,” He Yuanyuan said as she flipped through the documents in her hands.

“Apart from that, the interview for the foundation starts tomorrow. As the big boss behind-the-scenes, do you want to come over and take a look?”

“I’m not interested in the process, I’m just looking at the results. You and Old Qi can handle this,” Lin Yi said.

“I’ll send you one billion later to run the foundation. We’ll focus on the orphanage first and then the poor mountainous areas in the country.”

“I have something to say,” Ji Qingyan interjected.

“I think that right now, we should focus on the Lingyun Group’s business, with the foundation as a support. If we throw all our money into the foundation, it will very likely affect the development of the other businesses of the company. We can only do our best and act according to our ability when we do charity work.”
