I Get A Random New Occupation Every Week

Chapter 168: The Best-Looking Without Wearing It

“Milky Smell?”

“Milky Smell?” Qingyan paused. “Why didn’t I notice it?”

As she spoke, she plucked another one, only to find that the smell was the same as before. There was no milky smell at all, so it was obviously a lie…

Hmm?

It didn’t take long for her to realize that what she was thinking was completely different from what Lin Yi was saying.

!!
“Lin Yi, you’re going to die! How dare you flirt with me?”

“Did I?”

Lin Yi laughed out loud at Ji Qingyan’s hindsight.

This stupid and cute look was really irresistible.

“Tsk, I’m too lazy to bother with you.”

After being flirted with so many times, Ji Qingyan finally formed the ability to resist, so she didn’t bother too much about it.

“Oh right, are you free tomorrow?”

“I’m free all the time.” Lin Yi said. “What’s up?”

“Didn’t I contact two people for you? If you’re free tomorrow, I’d like to arrange for you to meet them. One of them is my schoolmate and junior, He Yuanyuan. She has a PhD in accounting at Yan University and was once the CFO of Meituan. She’s really strong. I had to say a lot of nice things to get her to join you.”

“I’m not familiar with the other one. She introduced him to me. His name is Qi Xianzhao. It’s said that he used to work for COO in a company in Silicon Valley. He should have the ability, but you have to meet and talk to him to see if he is suitable for this job. I can only act as a matchmaker.”

“Did they mention the specific salary?”

“This kind of question is more sensitive. I didn’t ask over the phone. You can talk about it in detail yourselves,” Ji Qingyan said.

“No problem. Let’s meet somewhere.”

“Tomorrow at 12 noon in my office. Is that ok?”

“It’s settled then.”

Looking at the time, he realized that it was getting late.

“I’m done eating and drinking, so I’m leaving now. You should rest early too.”

“I took your car back today. Come pick me up tomorrow. Otherwise, I’ll have to take a taxi.”

“Then I won’t leave. It’ll save me the trouble.” Lin Yi sat back down.

“Aren’t you ashamed? I didn’t even invite you, yet you want to stay at my place.” Ji Qingyan teased.

“Stop me if you can.”

“Hmph, I’ll just let you stay.”

As she said that, Ji Qingyan stomped up to the second floor in her plush slippers.

Not long after, she took out a set of gray and blue pajamas and stood in front of the railing on the second floor.

“Which one do you want to wear?”

“No way, you didn’t even know I was staying here, but you even bought pajamas?” Lin Yi said. “Did you invite me to your house with a premeditated plan?”

“Do you think I’m as shameless as you?”Ji Qingyan said proudly. “I left a set of pajamas at your house, and now I’ll leave one of yours at mine. We’ll call it even.”

“But I usually sleep naked, and I don’t have the habit of wearing pajamas.”

“Bah, bah, bah! You’re already an adult, so why aren’t you embarrassed? Who doesn’t wear pajamas?”

“It’s comfortable. Try It if you don’t believe me.”

“I don’t want to.” Qingyan said. “I think this blue one looks pretty good. You can wear this. If you want to go naked, go back to your room. Don’t let me see it.”

“Don’t you think this is unfair?” Lin Yi said, “You can do it too, then we’ll be even.”

“Bah bah bah, hooligan.” Ji Qingyan said, “Quickly put on pajamas as wearing jeans is uncomfortable. I’ll put your laundry in the bathroom, too. Don’t forget to sleep and wash them.”

“I know, I know, you talk too much.”

“You talk too much.”

After changing into the pajamas, Lin Yi found it fit quite well. Ji Qingyan’s cognitive abilities was pretty good.

After washing up, Lin Yi went back to his room to rest. Just as he lay down, he received a phone call from Zhang Song.

“Are you asleep, Boss?”

“Not yet. When are you coming?”

Zhang Song chuckled, “My flight tomorrow will reach Zhonghai at about 4:00 in the afternoon. My girlfriend will also be coming.”

“Even you have a girlfriend? Is God blind?” Lin Yi asked

“You don’t have to tease me like that,” Zhang Song said. “Her name’s Yue Jiao. We’ve known each other for a long time. Her family’s from Zhonghai too, so she’s coming back with me.”

“Alright then. I’ll pick you guys up tomorrow.” Lin Yi said.

“Thanks, Boss. I’ll be staying with you for the next few days in Zhonghai.”

“Come on, you’re pretty good at making me poor.”

Lin Yi hung up after a short conversation.

He’d wanted to sleep, but he wasn’t sleepy at all after picking up Zhang Song’s call.

It had been more than half a year since they last met.

He was a little excited just thinking about it.

However, judging from his tone, this coward was doing pretty well.

The next morning, Lin Yi woke up to find that Ji Qingyan was still asleep.

Knock, Knock, Knock

He knocked on the door a few times. “Don’t sleep anymore, get up and go to work. Don’t waste your time running errands.”

“Don’t rush me, I’ll get up in five minutes.”

There was only a murmur before the room went silent.

Lin Yi ignored Ji Qingyan. After washing up, Lin Yi heated up the leftovers from the previous night and prepared to fill his stomach.

Not long after, the door opened and the sound of washing could be heard.

When Ji Qingyan came down, she looked brand new.

“Lin Yi, look at my dress. Does it look good?”Ji Qingyan said as she lifted the hem of her dress.

“So-so. Hurry up and eat. The food will get cold soon.”

“So-so?”Ji Qingyan pursed her lips. “I’ve been choosing for a long time. I’ll go and change it.”

“Uh, this dress isn’t so-so. Don’t change it, let’s eat,” Lin Yi said vaguely.

“I think you’re just tricking me. Even if I change into another dress, you’ll say it’s not pretty.”

“Don’t say that either.”

“Then what style of dress do you think I’ll look good in?” Qingyan looked at Lin Yi across the table. “I’ll go change into it for you.”

“I think it’d look best if you don’t wear anything at all.”

“No, I won’t…”

Qingyan rolled her eyes at Lin Yi. “You only know how to take advantage of me.”

Lin Yi dropped her off at the office after lunch. He didn’t forget to mention it when he got out of the car,

“Don’t forget to meet at 12:00 pm. I won’t leave until we meet.”

“Don’t worry, I won’t forget.”

Lin Yi said goodbye and drove off, ready to work.

The mission progress was currently at 7/10. If nothing unexpected happened, it wouldn’t be a problem for him to complete his task today.

“You have a new order, please check it carefully.”

Lin Yi took the order casually, thinking that it was a request to buy something, but it only said that he had to rush to Chunxi Road, and there was no other description.

Lin Yi felt a little strange, so he called to ask.

“Hello, I’m the errand boy. Do you only need me to get to Chunxi Road?”

“That’s right, just come straight here. I don’t need anything else.” The person who answered the call was a busy man, and he hung up after saying a few words.

Lin Yi didn’t think too much into it. He checked his phone and found that Chunxi Road was in the outskirts of Zhonghai City, and it was some distance away.

He had to hurry.

Lin Yi drove to Chunxi Road according to the GPS address.

He parked the car and looked around. There was a small county on one side of the road and farmland on the other side.

Other than that, he didn’t see anything special.

After searching for a long time, he still couldn’t find the person he was looking for, so he called his customer.

“Hello, I’m at Chunxi Road. Where are you?” Lin Yi asked.

“Where are you? Are there any landmarks around you?” The person asked.

“There’s a grocery store by the road, and there’s a Xin Xin Barbecue next to it.” Lin Yi said.

“Then keep walking. You’ll see me when you turn the corner.” The person said.

“Okay.”

After hanging up, Lin Yi walked forward. When he turned the corner, he saw five people standing a dozen meters away.

They were all errand boys, just like him.

Apart from that, a white BMW X 5 had fallen into a nearby ditch. Everyone was gathered around the car, thinking about how to get it up.

“What the f*ck is going on? He called so many people over. Could it be that they want us to help him move the car?”

Why were there more and more of these employers nowadays?
