Global Cataclysm: Starting with a 1000-acre survival base

Chapter 498 Attacking Ice Bear City Again

With previous lessons learned, He Xin sent two EOD teams to first enter the city to check the situation.

EOD is a very technically difficult task for the tall Hippo people.

In their words, a sneeze can cause an explosion, and with a little effort, the bomb will explode.

After Hippo’s EOD team entered Flying Insect City, they found a large amount of materials and bombs.

And there is less than half an hour before these bombs will explode. It is almost impossible to dismantle all the bombs.

The captain of the EOD team immediately informed He Xin of the situation.

”Damn it, play this trick again, sooner or later I will kill you despicable flying insects!”

He Xin had no choice but to order to retreat, away from the range of the explosion, and sent another escort team to grab supplies.

In less than half an hour, how much can be shipped out, and how much.

The selected hippo guards felt that they had won the lottery, and their faces were downcast.

If the bomb goes off early, none of them will come back.

But there is no way, the order must be executed.

One by one, the hippopotamus drove the transport boats and drove towards the city of flying insects.

At this time, Fei Chong City has become a vast ocean, and there is stagnant water everywhere.

Ships drove out of the warehouse to directly carry those materials that were not submerged.

Not long after carrying it, a hippo guard accidentally touched the bomb hidden in the supplies.

Suddenly, the countdown accelerated, and all the bombs hidden in Flying Insect City exploded together.

Flying Insect City was razed to the ground in an instant, and then swallowed by the flood.

Seeing the disappearing Flying Insect City, He Xin looked annoyed.

After beating the Flying Insects for a long time, nothing came of it.

”My lord, shall we continue to attack?”

”Take a rest first, and then attack after figuring out which city the Flying Insects fled to.”

Hippo people are different from flying insects. In terms of their reproductive ability, every death means one less. If they want to quickly replenish their personnel, they can only use robots.

It’s a pity that at the level of Hippo people, robots cannot be developed yet.

For this reason, He Xin was also more cautious. After cleaning up the flying insects in several surrounding cities, he planned to find some allies to attack the flying insects together.

The Flying Insects wiped out many cities, and many people have already been eliminated, but there are also those who, like the Water Goats, abandoned the cities and fled.

He Xin intends to organize a joint army to exterminate the Flying Insects in order to reduce the losses of the Hippo people.

On Wuya’s side, she was busy integrating the hippopotamus genes.

As long as the flying insects are not afraid of water, they can resist the attack of the hippopotamus.

”My lord, after integrating the genetic advantages of the hippo people, it will reduce the reproductive ability of our flying insects. Is it worth it?”

”Currently the main thing is to resist the hippos. We can let some flying insect guards fuse with the genes of the hippos, and after successfully stopping the hippos, we can find a way to optimize the reproductive ability.” Wu Ya thought for a while and said.

On the other side, the construction of Xintuo City in Taxi has been completed, and a large number of Dimu people have moved in.

Here in the Arctic, there is no heavy rain, but there is a blizzard.

After the blizzard entered the canyon, it was melted into water by the geothermal heat and flowed into underground rivers, which had little effect on Haituo City.

But the impact on Ice Bear City is enormous.

After the efforts of the gray werewolves, Ice Bear City has almost been rebuilt, and the buildings on the ground have gradually recovered to the level before being bombed.

As the blizzard came, there was snow everywhere in Ice Bear City.

The gray werewolf spends a lot of time clearing the snow every day, and the snow outside Ice Bear City has accumulated to the height of the city wall.

Gray werewolf tanks, armored vehicles and other chariots were trapped in Ice Bear City.

And as the blizzard came, the supplies became more and more scarce, and the gray werewolf could only make seeds indoors.

Every day when Hui Xing saw the vast expanse of whiteness outside the house, he felt an urge to curse.

”It’s snowing heavily, and the headquarters ordered us to find a way to solve the problem of supplies.”

Hearing this, Hui Tian and Hui Ming looked at each other in blank dismay.

”My lord, what can we think of?” Hui Ming said depressedly.

”As long as you don’t starve to death, bear it slowly, whoever survives to the end will win.” Hui Tian said.

”Can’t you two use your brains? I called you two here, not to listen to your complaints, and now is not the time to complain.” Hui Xing said angrily.

Hui Ming stared blankly, thinking about it.

Huitian doesn’t care, as long as it doesn’t go back to accept the censorship, it can say anything.

”My lord, in this kind of weather, planes and satellites are not working. We are equivalent to being trapped here. We can only find a way to solve the food problem. Otherwise, all of us will starve to death!”

”Nonsense, it’s up to you to say, if someone comes to beat us at this time, we will be finished immediately, without the ability to fight back.” Hui Tian interjected.

”There isn’t even a city around, who would come and beat us? Even if they came, they would give us food, so why not be afraid of them!”

The three discussed for a long time without any result, and went back to their rooms to rest.

The rest area of Ice Bear City is underground, so it is not very cold and will not be frozen.

Just as they were relaxing, a group of wooden men drove snowmobiles to the outside of Ice Bear City.

From a distance, the city wall of Ice Bear City is half a meter higher than the snow on the ground. Driving a snowmobile, anyone who is not afraid of death can rush directly into Ice Bear City.

And on the city wall, there were no gray werewolf patrolling guards.

Although Hui Xing arranged for patrolling guards, but with such heavy snow, the guards wandered around and went back to sleep, not worried about someone attacking at all.

In the gray werewolf’s consciousness, there were no other cities around. If someone made a special detour to attack him, his mind would be crushed by the door.

But Xintuo City is further north of Ice Bear City, attacking them is not a detour, but a way.

Dimuren reported the situation detected to Taxi.

Taci decided to take down Ice Bear City.

It returned to Haituo City before, and after solving the flood crisis, it returned decisively to Xintuo City, preparing to attack Ice Bear City.

Now the timing is just right. After taking Ice Bear City, if Gray Wolf City sends people to support it, it can take the opportunity to destroy the Gray Werewolf and find a chance to take Gray Wolf City.

Subsequently, Taci mobilized his staff and prepared for action.

This time, it plans to send three Dimuren brigades and a Haituo special forces team.

Because there is snow along the way, Tassie equipped everyone with special snowmobiles, which are fast and flexible, suitable for combat in this kind of weather.

”Before, the Ice Bear City we took down was snatched by the Gray Werewolves. I have never ordered to take it back. I just waited for them to rebuild the Ice Bear City. Now is my chance!”

”My lord, tell me, how to fight?” Mu Fu looked at Taxi.

Tassie nodded.

”Mu Fu, you lead a team to attack the Ice Bear City from the front, Mu Xuan and Mu La will support from the left and right, and I will lead the Haituo people to enter the Ice Bear City from the rear. Don’t let any gray werewolf go.”

Afterwards, snowmobiles drove out of Xintuo City and came to Ice Bear City.

At this time, Hui Xing was still sleeping, not aware of the danger at all.

It wasn’t until the wooden man called and the ear-piercing siren sounded that Hui Xing hurriedly got up from the bed and led a team to stop the wooden man.

It’s a pity that it was too late, the Dimu people led by Mu Fu had already entered the Ice Bear City.
