Global Arrival: Survival on a Desert Island

Chapter 88 Shipyard

Chapter 88 Shipyard

”In addition to the daily land reclamation work, there are also training and patrolling. If the remaining sailors make any changes, they can be executed on the spot if they threaten you.”

”In addition to these, you should follow me in the past two days and learn how I handle the arrangements. You may need to handle the arrangements on the island for a long time in the future.”

While Lin Feng was guiding Hai Xing, he was also planning for future plans.

In the future, it is inevitable that he will go to sea for a long time and not return to the island. At that time, there must be someone who can support the work arrangements on the island.

After much deliberation, Lin Feng thought that the only suitable person was Hai Xing.

Grace and others must go with him, and their sailing experience needs to come into play.

Among the remnants, Eleven, who is capable, will accompany him as his escort, so that when he comes and goes, the management work will have to fall on Haixing’s head.

For Lin Feng’s attention, Hai Xing accepted the task solemnly.

Looking at the serious starfish, Lin Feng smiled, patted his shoulder and said.

”Don’t be so nervous, just manage it in your own way, but be careful of accidents that may occur at any time.”

”It’s almost time, you go out with me.”

Looking at the reminder that the shipyard completed the manufacturing displayed in the reminder area, Lin Feng got up and simply packed his things.

Then go to a bay on the south side of the big island.

After the impact here, a huge C-shaped bend was formed.

According to Grace, it would be an excellent location to build a terminal port here.

However, since there are already options for the placement of the initial docks, there is no place to change them if you want to.

Now that there is a shipyard, Lin Feng simply chooses the location of the shipyard here.

Take out the construction hammer and choose to place it.

An open-air shipyard with a width of more than [-] meters and a length of [-] meters appeared in front of him.

Due to the huge size of the shipyard, Lin Feng had to extend part of it to the shallow sea area.

Fortunately, the structure of the shipyard is similar to that of a dry dock.

When the sea estuary was built, it was closed, and the seawater would not flow back into the dock until it was opened.

On both sides of the shipyard, there are several wooden cranes and a two-story wooden house.

This should be the control center of the shipyard.

Go to the edge of the dock and look down, my good guy, the depth of this dock must be at least eight or nine meters.

It seems that when the time comes, people will have to build a fence around here. If it falls, it will be either dead or disabled.

It seems that after one glance, Lin Feng went to the wooden house.

Entering the wooden house, the familiar reminder appeared in front of Lin Feng’s eyes.

【Shipyard Operation Mode:】

[Upgrade and repair mode: upgrade and repair existing ships, and consume materials according to the situation. 】

[Construction Mode: Build unlocked ships. (The more participants, the faster the construction speed)]

[Two modes cannot be operated at the same time]

Similar to the previous building, there is also a selective mode.

Looking at the repair and upgrade methods, Lin Feng thought of the two ships he had in hand now.

How about... driving a boat to test the waters?
With an idea in mind, Lin Feng then asked Eleven, who was waiting outside, to convey the order to bring the Black Coral.

The sudden order made the sailors busy again.

Fortunately, the pier has a certain water depth, and it is not half-stranded like last time, so it needs to be pulled out manually.

This time only a little external force is needed to make the ship move.

However, it still takes a little time to go around to the shipyard on the other side of the island.

And Lin Feng, don’t be nervous, take advantage of this time to study the ships in the construction mode.

But only two types of ships can be built in the build column.

Cargo ships and battleships.

However, under these two types, there are three models.

Cargo ships are divided into three types: small, medium and large.

Small cargo ships have a cargo capacity of [-] tons, medium cargo ships have a cargo capacity of [-] tons, and large cargo ships can reach [-] tons.

But the cost made Lin Feng somewhat unbearable.

【Large Cargo Ship】

【Construction time: 7 days】

【建造材料：木材（25577/20000）、铁块（2845/5000）、铜块（29440/2000）、植物纤维（3450/10000）】

[Description: A cargo ship capable of carrying [-] tons of cargo. 】

[-] pieces of wood and [-] pieces of iron, these materials are completely worth the cost of a high-level design drawing, and there may even be two more.

In terms of warships, it is also different from the distinction between large, medium and small cargo ships, but by rank.

There are three types of sailing destroyers at the sixth level, sailing cruisers at the fifth level, and sailing battleships at the fourth level.

【Level [-] Sail Destroyer】

【Construction time: 7 days】

【建造材料：木材（25577/25000）、铁块（2845/8000）、铜块（29440/5000）、植物纤维（3450/10000）】

[Description: An agile single-masted schooner destroyer with a single deck that can accommodate 28 guns. 】

The cost of these sixth-tier destroyers is even higher than that of cargo ships.

It seems that the matter of wanting to build a battleship has been considered for too long given his existing resources.

At first, I thought that I had enough supplies in my hands so that I didn’t have to worry about it.

But with the advent of armories and shipyards, this idea disappeared completely.

The current cost is calculated in tens of thousands, so in the future, wouldn’t it cost hundreds of thousands or even millions?
It seems that the pace of accumulating resources cannot be stopped.

While Lin Feng checked the calculations, the Black Coral had also completed the island tour and circled to the shipyard.

Looking at the dock that appeared, everyone on the boat showed shocked expressions.

Such a large dock, they didn’t have it earlier?

Was this done by Lord Lin Feng again?
But before they thought too much, Lin Feng, who was on the shore, signaled them to drive the boat into the dock.

The gate of the dock has been opened, and the inside is already filled with sea water. There is no problem for the ship to dock at a depth of seven or eight meters.

By the time the ship docked and entered, it was already a starry night.

The study tasks at night could not be delayed. Lin Feng asked them to go back to study as soon as they finished their busy work, while he himself stayed here to check the operation of the battleship upgrade.

[Tier [-] Sail Battleship]

[Repair: Repair and replace old and damaged areas of the battleship. 】

[Upgrade: Upgrade the five aspects of the battleship, defense, structure, firepower, function, and mobility. 】

With the heart of checking, Lin Feng chose to repair it.

【0 for serious damage, 0 for moderate damage, 19 for slight damage, 7 for hidden danger structures】

[Materials consumed for repair: wood 500, iron block 200, copper block 200, plant fiber 500]

【Repair time: 1 day (the more participants, the faster the repair speed)】

Looking at this report, the maintenance level of the battleship seems to be pretty good?

However, Lin Feng was not in a hurry to start repairing the battleship now.

Instead, he turned his attention to the next item, the upgrade interface.
