Chapter 153 Late night sneak attack

Chapter 153 Late night sneak attack
Facing the shore defense line on the side of the living island, leaders such as Fifteen, Greyse, and Luo Kun used binoculars to observe the opposite side.

The first one who couldn’t bear it was Luo Kun, who couldn’t help but asked in a low voice.

”The lord has been away with the team for so long, and it’s almost dawn now, why hasn’t he come back... Is there something unexpected?”

Before Fifteen could speak, Gracee spoke first, ”Don’t be so cunning,” he put down the telescope in his hand, and then continued.

”If something happened to the lord, the other side would already be bustling with activity, how could it be so quiet?”

”Isn’t this worrying? Nine people are wandering across the site with thousands of people. If they are discovered, they want to escape to the capital...”

Luo Kun was also worried about Lin Feng’s safety. After all, as a traitor, if the sea wolf seized the opportunity to capture him, the fate would be beyond his imagination.

The most hated thing for the pirates is betrayal, and he took the power of action to bite back.

This will really fall into the hands of the other party, and I can’t bear to walk around.

”Wait... there is movement by the sea, is it the Lord and the others?”

Shi Shi, who was still watching, suddenly saw a figure appearing near the beach and laying a wooden boat.

The two who heard the news also stopped chatting, and immediately picked up the binoculars to observe again.

”No...it’s not the lord, it’s the enemy!”

Seeing more and more people appearing on the coast, Shiwu finally realized that they were enemies!

The information sent back by the lord earlier showed that the other party planned to attack at night.

And they have been busy for almost the whole night, and now it is about to dawn, they all thought that the other party had given up, but they didn’t expect to appear suddenly at this time.

”Notify all the troops, prepare for battle, and intercept the opponent’s large troops on the sea according to the plan, and start to act!”

Fifteen, as the temporary commander, immediately began to issue defense orders.

Soon, the moat, which was still a little quiet before, immediately became lively.

Soldiers who were ready to rest began to prepare their weapons one after another. Iron crossbows, muskets, artillery, etc. had all been deployed.

Lin Feng, who was cleaning up gunpowder on the residential island, also noticed the actions of the personnel.

The opponent is about to attack.

Looking at the remaining gunpowder, Lin Feng continued to speed up the cleaning work.

After clearing the payment overnight, he had emptied all the gunpowder depots elsewhere on the island.

At this moment, the gunpowder in his backpack has exceeded 100 tons.

At the same time, based on the remaining stock in the gunpowder depot, this number has to rise to at least [-].

Such a huge amount of gunpowder surprised Lin Feng very much.

After emptying the gunpowder magazine, he also specially lit the lamp to check the internal situation.

It was found that there were at least three hidden wire fuzes in a gunpowder magazine, and these fuzes were all connected from a very hidden underground passage.

This also means that the opponent can directly ignite and explode the gunpowder depots of the whole island at a certain designated location.

If he didn’t clean up this place, the opponent’s counterattack before he died, the thousands of tons of gunpowder, would be a super gift for him.

This discovery also made Lin Feng frightened for a while, and he simply cleaned up the gunpowder on an island now.

It doesn’t matter whether the other area is cleared or not, as long as the exchange store can be saved, that’s enough.

……

At the same time that Lin Feng was rushing to search, fierce wars had already broken out at the two seaports of the industrial island.

When the pirate’s sneak attack team reached the middle of the strait, dozens of specially-made flares exploded in the sky, lighting up the sea around the island as it was during the day.

While the pirates were still in astonishment, countless arrows, crossbow bullets and artillery shells began to roar.

The pirates who didn’t have a bunker to hide from couldn’t dodge at all, and were instantly sieved on top of the ship.

When the howitzer faced this kind of unarmored unit, a single shell could directly turn the entire troop carrier into blood mist.

After being attacked, the islands also reacted quickly, jumping into the water and preparing to swim over.

Relying on the blocking of sea water, most of the defenders’ weapons seemed a little weak.

But as everyone who had been prepared for a long time, in the face of this situation, they directly turned the attack target into the enemy who was still on board.

After driving everyone into the sea, they will attack in a point-to-point manner. As long as the opponent emerges from the sea to take a breath, a lot of arrows and bullets will fly towards them.

The short sea distance of more than [-] meters has become an insurmountable death path for pirates.

The failure of the sneak attack tactics did not surprise the sea wolf.

But seeing his men being killed so casually reminded him of the naval battle during the day.

He has nothing to say about the strength of the opponent’s naval battle, but why are the troops on land so fierce?

The firepower of hundreds of people directly crushed and beat thousands of them.

This is still the situation after the artillery support of the shore fire artillery.

Attacking the coast without support, sea wolves can’t do it. Before other people have landed, the artillery prepared in advance is already firing and suppressing.

But after a few rounds of attacks, the opponent’s firepower did not attenuate at all. Instead, the opponent’s artillery found an opportunity to tear their artillery positions to shreds.

The personnel who were too late to transfer were instantly torn to pieces by the exploded grenade, and the surrounding artillery fire was also blown to pieces.

”Damn it, notify the troops below, all dispatched, let the frigate cover.”

The sea wolf looked at the battle situation in front of him with a gloomy expression. He didn’t deploy large warships before to avoid attracting the opponent’s attention.

But now it seems that the opponent is very wary, even in the second half of the night, the opponent can gather and launch a counterattack as quickly as possible.

In this way, I don’t have to hide anything anymore, and let all the troops dispatch to attack.

The first batch of 3000 people, after being specifically targeted, only more than 1000 people were able to land on the coast.

And these more than 1000 people, even if they landed on the shore, because they did not have long-range weapons, they had to rush to the enemy with machetes.

Originally they also had firearms, but they were all placed on the boat. After being disrupted in this way, the muskets that entered the water were not as powerful as a wooden stick.

On the beach without any bunkers, the pirates who landed stood naked on the shore like stripped beauties, ready to be slaughtered.

There is also a distance of [-] meters from the beach to the garrison position, but this [-] meters has become their last step.

Anyone who comes here doesn’t need to shoot with a rifle. One round of the iron crossbow will knock down a fifth.

At the same time, under the continuous attack of the formation, thousands of people were completely wiped out as soon as they touched the gate of the position.
