Chapter 48 Fire Attack

Chapter 48 Fire Attack
Around the trebuchet, Lin Feng took out several bonfires and lit the paper wood.

It takes a certain amount of time to burn wood, and Lin Feng stored charcoal before letting the savages take it out.

He deliberately stored this thing, and without coal, this thing would be used as fuel for a long time.

Burn the charcoal red and mix it with various types of wood.

Driven by the breeze, the wood quickly burned.

Lin Feng called the savages to adjust the launch angle of the trebuchet.

”Two circles to the left, that’s it, pull the winch, and pull the sling arm down!”

As the winch on the catapult continues to rotate, the erected catapult arm is slowly lowered.

After looking around, Lin Feng told everyone to stop.

Take out the shovel and transfer the burning fire to the iron spoon.

”Everyone leave the front of the trebuchet and hide five meters away on both sides of the back!”

Since he had never operated a trebuchet, for the sake of safety, Lin Feng removed the people nearby to prevent accidents.

Looking at the tinder constantly burning on the iron spoon, Lin Feng pulled the firing rod.

The arm lever that unlocks the potential energy, under the acceleration of gravity and mechanical energy, instantly throws the ignition in the iron spoon out.

In the air, the unbound charcoal and wood quickly dispersed into clusters of small sparks after being thrown out.

These sparks formed an arc-shaped parabola in the air, but after a split, the kinetic energy of the sparks was not that sufficient.

Therefore, when they flew to the sea area between the two islands, they fell into the water and were extinguished.

The scattered fire balls are visually good, but Lin Feng wants to throw them on the wandering island to form a fire, instead of using them as fireworks in the air.

With the first test shooting experience, Lin Feng immediately told the wild man to lower his throwing arm and adjust the angle to prepare for the second round of test shooting.

The cannibal survivors on the opposite side were taken aback by the fire ball that flew just now.

What are you using on the other side? Why is it possible to throw flames into the sky?

Doubts are doubts, they immediately blow the whistle to gather to discuss the problem.

As all the clansmen arrived, the team that had been guarding just now recounted what happened just now.

They looked in the said direction, and sure enough, a huge ’monster’ suddenly appeared.

At the same time, the monster spit out another strange thing.

”Bang—slap—”

Under the effect of inertia, the flying wooden barrel was smashed instantly.

And the flames hidden in the wooden barrel also scattered, and countless charcoal sparks will be scattered all over the ground.

Although the vegetation on the island was full of moisture, it was quickly ignited and spread under the burning fire.

Lin Feng, who observed all this on the island, was very satisfied. The most important reason why the fire would disperse in the air was that there was no ’shell’ wrapped around it.

Now it was too late to make a temporary container, so he simply modified the wooden barrel holding the water and put it into a fire to throw it.

Not to mention, without the unloading force of disintegration, it flew smoothly to the wandering island with the wooden barrel that ignited the fire.

”Good job, come on, just follow the operation just now, throw the fire bucket to the opposite side, and burn her mother!”

Lin Feng excitedly directed the savages to shell the wandering island.

It takes about 5 minutes for everyone to prepare for a round of shooting, and the most time-consuming part is making ammunition.

Do not add too much fire and fuel to the barrel, otherwise the fire will be too strong and burn the barrel together.

But not too little, otherwise it won’t have much power when thrown over.

Lin Feng played well here, but it was not easy for the Cannibal Survivors.

As more and more starters were thrown onto the island, the new starters brought up another forest before everyone could extinguish the previous fires.

Looking at the cannibal survivors who were busy running around in the fire, Lin Feng was very satisfied.

In this way, the island will become a sea of flames without waiting too long.

When you land on the island at that time, when the attention of the cannibal survivors is on the fire, you can fish in troubled waters and get the treasure chest.

However, it will be a problem to cross the fire scene at that time, and we must think of a way in advance.

The savages had already basically mastered the operation of the trebuchet, and Lin Feng only needed to watch from the sidelines and keep bringing them materials to make ammunition.

Lin Feng, who was sitting in the wooden hut beside him, was thinking about his next plan to land on the island, when he suddenly saw a new private chat message.

Glancing at the sun that was approaching the top of his head, Xiao Su should have woken up, so he clicked in to check.

”Ah? This...”

”What’s the matter?” Seeing Xiaosu’s confusion, Lin Feng asked.

”I just saw this news when I woke up, but all those savages came to the island while I was sleeping.”

Seeing this, Lin Feng suddenly stood up from the ground, and hurriedly asked.

”It’s all over? Did anyone come back alive? Find a place to hide on the island.”

Before Lin Feng finished his instructions, Lin Suna sent a message that made him dumbfounded.

”People have passed away, and they all came back alive, and...”

Lin Su stood on the shore, looking speechless at the cannibal survivors tied up by Wu Hua Da.

”And the savages also captured a batch of the cannibals you mentioned. There are eight of them. Now the savages seem to be asking me how to deal with these cannibals.”

”...”

Lin Feng looked at his sister’s words and was a little speechless. What the hell is this called?
But only caught eight? He has more than 30 savages here.

”Only eight?” Lin Feng asked with some doubts.

”No, only eight survived. It seems that there are... thirty? Forty? Probably, so many of them have been wiped out by the savages.”

Lin Feng looked up at his savage weakly, and then at the savage in Xiaosu’s mouth.

Suddenly, a sense of sadness welled up from the bottom of my heart. Is this still the same race?

Why is it that the savages of this family can lead their own troops to exterminate the cannibal survivors, while the savages of his family go to the island to die?

Sighing, Lin Feng responded to Xiao Su.

”Don’t leave the cannibals behind. They are very dangerous. Let the savages deal with them. Now that the island has been cleaned up, go up and find treasure chests. They are probably in their camp.”

”But you still have to be careful, let your savages search Wandering Island more, to prevent cannibals from hiding on it.”

”OK, all right.”

With Lin Feng’s suggestion, Lin Su also agreed very much.

Immediately arrange for your own savages to deal with all the remaining captives.

Although these are eight living beings, it is still very difficult for them to be normalized as a foreign race.

In addition, Lin Feng also said that they are very dangerous, so it is inevitable to deal with them.

Lin Su does not have the indecision of ordinary girls. From growing up with her brother, the two have very similar personalities.

In addition, the two of them grew up in the orphanage since they were young, so they are very sensitive to the surrounding environment.

If there is a situation that may threaten safety, both of them will make the same choice.

That is to directly eliminate the danger that threatens itself in the cradle.
