Immortality Through Array Formations

Chapter 2264: Chapter 1047: Heaven-Class Escape from ”Slaughter” (Part 2)

Seeing it wise, Mo Hua couldn’t be bothered with it, continuing along the cause-and-effect lines, amid the eerie Large Formation, in the blood-tainted barren forest, amidst the bloody slaughter, he rescued nearly twenty of his Junior Brothers, one by one.

Some of them were unharmed, just trapped in a small valley, afraid to venture out.

Some were slightly infected by Evil Spirit.

Some met with other Sect Disciples, engaged in combat, stirred up a desire to kill, affecting their Taoist Heart, giving rise to a hint of murderous Evil Thoughts.

Others, like Ouyang Xuan, were heavily infected, on the verge of losing their minds.

Subduing these people took quite some effort.

Among them, the most difficult was the Taia Mountain Five Brothers, Ouyang Fu, Lu, Shou, Xi, and Cai.

When Mo Hua found them, the five brothers were ”killing each other”.

Ouyang Fu and Ouyang Lu were infected by Evil Spirit, with bloodshot eyes, unable to restrain their murderous intent, even wielding blades against their own brothers.

The other three brothers had no choice but to fight back to control these two older brothers.

However, as they fought, all five brothers were infected by the blood mist of the Large Formation, their bloodthirst becoming intense, no longer holding back, ultimately turning into real fratricide, with five Giant Swords clashing, bloodthirsty and ruthless.

When Mo Hua found them, he witnessed this scene.

”Stop!”

Mo Hua’s gaze slightly tightened, a crisp yet ”deafening” shout pierced through the eardrums, sobering the five for a moment.

Ouyang Shou, Ouyang Xi, and Ouyang Cai immediately regained clarity and halted.

Ouyang Fu and Ouyang Lu, deeply possessed, continued their unrelenting murderous attacks.

Cheng Mo and several others stepped forward to intervene but were powerless to stop them.

Amid the entanglement, Mo Hua’s eyes glowed gold, a commanding gaze swept over, piercing into the eyes of those two.

The two hulks instantly trembled, their minds muddled, crashing to the ground.

With just a glance, Mo Hua subdued the two strongest among the Taia Five Brothers.

Although the disciples including Cheng Mo were clueless about what Mo Hua did, they were all visibly shocked, and momentarily considered their Junior Brother a divine figure.

”Bring them, follow me,” said Mo Hua.

”Yes, Junior Brother.”

Ouyang Shou and Ouyang Xi carried their two big brothers, joined by other disciples, trailing behind Mo Hua.

Mo Hua probed with his Divine Sense, perceived the area’s terrain, and finally found a cave in the barren forest.

The group entered the cave.

Mo Hua pointed with his fingers, Spiritual Ink wriggling on the ground, forming a Formation, sealing the cave entrance.

”Those uninfected, stand behind me.”

”Those slightly possessed, or with stirring murderous intent, stand to my left.”

”Severely infected and unconscious, place on the right side on the ground.”

Mo Hua segregated everyone according to the degree of possession, then took out an incense burner, lit a stick of Sandalwood Incense, addressing those slightly infected, Yang Qianjun, Ouyang Shou, Ouyang Xi, Ouyang Cai:

”Sit cross-legged on the spot, meditate and guard your heart, discard distractions, imagine a mirror without dust, a mind as calm as still water.”

”If during this period, your Taoist Heart has issues, or Evil Thoughts are hard to quell, tell me immediately...”

”Okay, Junior Brother.”

Yang Qianjun and the three Ouyang brothers nodded, then, along with others, began as Mo Hua instructed, meditating, exercising self-control.

Afterward, Mo Hua turned his attention to the three most severely possessed, Ouyang Xuan, Ouyang Fu, Ouyang Lu.

These three cases were somewhat tricky.

He couldn’t enter others’ Sea of Consciousness.

The Godslaying Sword outside the body had too much power.

To forcefully use Divine Thought into sword to cut the Evil Spirit would erase their Divine Sense as well.

Mo Hua pondered for a moment, deciding he could only use ”poison” against poison, ”Demon” devouring demon.

He took out a broken White Bone Sword, whispering:

”Sword Bone, go into their Sea of Consciousness, devour the Evil Spirits.”

”Only devour Evil Spirits, no more than a bite, or I’ll feed you to the dogs.”

After the admonition, Mo Hua placed the broken White Bone Sword on Ouyang Xuan’s forehead, at the Heavenly Gate Point connected to the Sea of Consciousness.

A slightly eerie red glow emerged.

Subsequently, Sword Bone penetrated Ouyang Xuan’s Sea of Consciousness, following Mo Hua’s ”Little Ancestor” instructions, devoured all the bloody Evil Spirits.

The Evil Spirits weren’t delicious.

Sword Bone wanted more to devour the cultivator’s Divine Sense; this was its inherent duty as an Evil Spirit.

Yet it dared not.

If it dared devour one more bite, that Little Ancestor outside really had a million ways to kill this little Sword Demon.

It understood better than anyone the ferocity and terror of that Little Ancestor.

What he said was a golden rule, Sword Bone truly didn’t dare to defy at all.

”Forget it, also Ouyang’s descendant disciples, though not human, I’ll do some good deeds...”

Thinking of ”Ouyang”, Sword Bone’s eyes dimmed, after consuming all Evil Spirits, it checked again, making sure nothing was missed, then retreated from Ouyang Xuan’s Sea of Consciousness.

Mo Hua repeated the tactic, commanding Sword Bone to devour the Evil Spirits in the Sea of Consciousness of Ouyang Fu and Ouyang Lu as well.

After devouring, Mo Hua personally inspected, confirming Sword Bone indeed followed his instructions, working earnestly, then nodded in approval.

The issues of Ouyang Xuan and the others were resolved.

Mo Hua checked Yang Qianjun and others, finding their Evil Thoughts had substantially subsided.

Others, too, were fine.

”Everyone’s here, and all alive...”

Only then Mo Hua completely exhaled in relief, simultaneously feeling fortunate.

Thankfully he knew some Heavenly Mechanism Causality skills, able to sense familiar energies, otherwise in the Evil Path Great Formation, amid permeating blood mist and Evil Qi, he wouldn’t find Ouyang Xuan and the rest in a short time.
