Mythical Professions are all my employees

Chapter 94 Two Major Dilemmas, We Need Partners, Today Is Different!Chapter 94 Two major dilemmas require partners; today is different!

The reason why his level stopped increasing at level 7 was because Qin Xiaoyou and Gu Yiyun hadn’t given him any experience for four consecutive days.

If it weren’t for the daily settlement of corporate reputation... he would have thought something had happened to the two of them.

They both reached level 10 four days ago, and then there has been no further activity for the past four days.

If nothing unexpected happens... he should be preparing to advance to the next level.

To be fair, the advancement quests in this world are still quite difficult.

Gu Yiyun was previously a level 10 priest, but she remained at level 0 for four years without advancing. This was due to a lack of advancement materials and the inability to complete the advancement quests.

Her task at the time was to participate in killing a dungeon boss.

Qin Fang’s previous mission was to clear the ’Abyss Dungeon’.

...Clearly, the difficulty of promotion tasks is directly related to the job rank.

Both of them are currently in epic-level classes, so the promotion quests are likely to be quite difficult, and it’s normal for it to take a few days.

Thinking of this, Qin Fang couldn’t help but click his tongue again...

He did have a lucky, violent archmage under his command who skipped the 0th rank stage, saving him a promotion quest.

But so much time has passed, and this incredibly lucky, violent mage employee hasn’t contributed a single experience point to him, and he’s disappeared without a trace.

I’m so tired...

”It’s so frustrating not being able to contact the employees... It’s so difficult to get them to do anything.”

Qin Fang frowned.

The situation in Tieya City has eased.

However, the incident in Tieya City also deeply affected Qin Fang.

Iron Teeth City is just a small city; there are hundreds or even thousands of such cities in the Xia Kingdom.

But one can see the big picture from small details.

The living conditions of professionals in Iron Teeth City offer a glimpse into the fact that humanity’s current situation is probably not very good.

The alien races outwardly abide by the ceasefire agreement, but in reality, they readily slaughter humans at the slightest provocation.

Without the slightest fear.

For the sake of the greater good, humanity has retreated again and again.

They will almost never retaliate forcefully unless they are forced into a corner.

For example, it was clearly the centaurs who started the trouble first, first by killing a large number of people in Rabbit Ben, and then by killing people in the Dark Jungle...

Although the authorities intervened to protect him, they took a firm stance against the centaurs.

However, afterwards, neither Shen Changyuan nor the others took the initiative to retaliate against the centaurs, nor did they even seek an explanation.

It’s clear they’ve tacitly accepted this huge loss.

If he hadn’t stood up for them, the matter would probably have just faded away.

This is obviously not normal.

But neither Shen Changyuan nor Yu Qianqiu thought there was anything wrong with it.

This is a common occurrence in the interaction between humans and other races.

Although Qin Fang fought back forcefully, he felt increasingly powerless as the fight went on.

He successfully forced Luffy to lose his power, but he himself was truly exhausted... He had been besieging the centaurs for five days, constantly on the move, and his physical fatigue was one thing, but he was also mentally exhausted.

The authorities are quite supportive of him, but this support is limited... They won’t support him without limits.

This made him realize strongly that no matter how strong an individual is, he is still just one person.

But if he wants to change something... he alone is far from enough.

”Fortunately, my profession is boss.”

Qin Fang gazed into the distance, and gradually, he gained a clearer understanding of his future path.

If the previous search for employees was simply driven by a desire to become stronger...

Now, he is just as eager to get more employees... even more eager than before.

But the goal is not just to become stronger.

He needs partners.

...to change something together with him...

partner.

……

”But there are quite a few problems that need to be solved...”

The way out is clear.

But the distress is real.

For example, the first problem to solve is the communication issue.

The employees were sent out and then they were immediately out of contact... What the hell is going on?
In this situation, no matter how strong or numerous the employees are, they are still a scattered mess and cannot be united into a cohesive force.

In this way, nothing will be changed at all.

Because of the existence of alien races, the entire Xia Kingdom has now been forced to divide into relatively closed information areas, forming ’information cocoons’.

For example, since he’s currently in Iron Fang City, he can only obtain information about Iron Fang City and Lingtai City. It becomes very difficult to obtain effective intelligence from places further away.

This is something that urgently needs to be addressed.

They cannot break free from the information cocoon.

That perspective will forever be confined to a single ’point’.

There are two ways to solve this... First, rely on the official channels.

The authorities definitely have official channels that can connect various ’points’.

However, the officials were of mixed character, and Qin Fang could not trust them.

Then there’s only the second option... wait for the new skill to awaken.

Awakening a similar skill is almost certain. It’s just that the timing of that awakening is uncertain...

Secondly, there’s the issue of finding employees.

The current methods for finding potential employees are too primitive and inefficient.

These days he’s been wandering around the city every day. He had previously suspected that life professions might have a higher probability of possessing epic potential than combat professions.

I also visited eco-parks and other places with many jobs, hoping to find a fourth potential employee.

It turned out that it was his imagination...

Epic potential has absolutely nothing to do with whether a profession is a life skill or a combat skill.

This is pure talent.

And this is also the problem he urgently needs to solve.

You can’t change the world by going it alone.

Even the very few strong individuals cannot change this world.

He needs more ’partners,’ which means he needs to find potential employees more efficiently and sign them.

This……

It seems we can only wait for the awakening of related skills...

Even cooperation with the authorities couldn’t solve this problem.

After all, the authorities do not have the means to detect a person’s potential.

These are the two biggest challenges Qin Fang is currently facing.

”So... we still need to upgrade.”

”At level 10, there should be a skill awakening, right? I hope it’s one of these two...”

Qin Fang finally let out a long breath.

I’ve determined what I need to do most right now.

That is……

upgrade!

……

……

The day after the negotiations with the centaurs ended.

The official notification to Ironfang City School announced that professionals can now return to various dungeons to level up.

The announcement also stated: ”The three dungeons previously monopolized by the centaurs—Misty Path, Night Raven Graveyard, and Whispering Valley—are now open unconditionally, and you can go there on your own.”

Mist Path and Night Raven Graveyard are Tier 1 dungeons, while Whispering Valley is a Tier 0 dungeon.

This news had already been spread throughout the Iron Teeth City network by insiders.

This was officially confirmed at the moment, immediately causing a huge sensation!

”Hahahaha... Boss is awesome! This amusement park is the best!!!”

”They actually forced the centaurs to give up their exclusive dungeons? Hahaha, I guess I’m in for it... Anyone want to team up for Windwhisper Canyon today?”

”Count me in, count me in!”

”I absolutely have to go! Level 9 warrior looking for a group in Windwhisper Canyon!!”

Most people expressed excitement.

This was a dungeon that the centaurs used to have exclusive access to!
Although the rank remained the same, the benefits also remained the same.

But the feeling is completely different!
What was once an untouchable area is now open to the public; the sense of novelty and excitement is indescribable.

”I think... we should go to those old dungeons like Rabbit Dungeon. After all, those dungeons were previously exclusive to the centaurs. Even if they’re supposed to be shared, what if there’s a conflict if we go there? The centaurs might not be willing to give them up willingly.”

”What the person upstairs said makes sense... The centaurs were forcibly suppressed by the boss, which is why they offered up these instances. If something had really happened in the past, they wouldn’t even have had a chance to cry...”

However, some people also expressed hesitation... The centaurs were clearly unwilling to contribute these exclusive dungeons, fearing that conflicts and dangers might arise after they went there.

”What are you afraid of? I told you long ago that those alien races are all bullies who prey on the weak! They fear power but not virtue. If you dare to kill them, they’ll kneel down! Now that the boss has terrified them, even if they had the guts, they wouldn’t dare to touch us! I’m going to Wind Whisper Canyon today. Anyone want to come with me?”

”Brother Yun, I support you!”

”Brother Yun, where do we meet? I’ll be right there!!”

The hot-blooded youth Yun Yue emerged and immediately followed a group of followers...

This hot-blooded young man, who once declared, ”If the centaurs come, I’ll be the first to die,” now has a group of followers, the same guys who once charged to the front lines with him.

Moreover, its scale continues to expand.

Especially after the centaurs took the initiative to negotiate with humans, many young people saw through the true nature of the alien race, making this group of passionate young people even larger.

Now, he is incredibly influential on the Iron Teeth City website; as soon as he speaks, other voices immediately fall silent and disappear from view.

Soon after, a large group appeared at the gates of Irontooth City, and then they marched in a mighty procession toward Windwhisper Canyon.

Finally, they arrived at Windwhisper Canyon, where they encountered some centaurs.

Outside Wind Whisper Canyon, there is a small town, but its style is completely different from that of Rabbit Village, and is closer to the architectural style of the centaur tribe.

After all... this used to be their exclusive instance.

When the two groups met, Yun Yue’s side was almost entirely composed of passionate young men. Yun Yue stood at the very front, head held high, looking at the centaur youths on the other side.

The centaur youths’ expressions changed several times, but in the end, they lowered their heads, turned and walked towards the dungeon without leaving a word.

...If this had happened in the past, the centaur boys would have already started scolding and driving away the human boys.

Now, they don’t even dare to confront a human teenager.

Yun Yue could no longer hold back and burst into laughter, her laughter filled with unbridled joy.

The eyes of the other human teenagers also brightened.

Then he burst into laughter.

Laughter echoed throughout Windwhisper Canyon, causing the centaur youth’s expression to change repeatedly, but in the end, they all chose to remain silent...
