Milf Hunter: Seducing And Taming Beauties

Chapter 986: Kate’s Masterclass in Manipulation

Without another word, Barry turned and fled the room, the door slamming shut behind him. The sudden silence was almost deafening, the weight of what had just happened settling over the room like a heavy blanket.

Kate’s expression softened almost instantly, the cruel edge melting away as she turned to me. Her arms wrapped around me tightly, her body pressing against mine as if seeking warmth, comfort, or maybe just the reassurance of my presence.

”Jack...” she murmured, her voice suddenly small, vulnerable—almost tender. She nuzzled against my chest, her breath slow and steady as the adrenaline of the moment began to fade.

I could feel her heartbeat against my skin, her body still trembling slightly from the intensity of everything that had just unfolded.

Without thinking, I wrapped my arms around her, pulling her closer, my own exhaustion catching up to me.

Kate’s breathing grew slower, her body relaxing against mine as she drifted off to sleep. I closed my eyes, forcing myself to follow her into the darkness, my mind still replaying the filthy, intoxicating chaos of the night.

When I woke up, the first thing I noticed was the warm, soft weight of Kate’s naked body pressed against mine. My cock was already rock-hard, throbbing insistently against the smooth skin of her stomach. The moment it twitched, she stirred with a soft, sleepy groan that vibrated through her chest.

”Hmm...” she murmured, her thighs instinctively pressing together as if her body was still craving more even in half-sleep.

I quickly shut my eyes, forcing my breathing to stay slow and deep, pretending I was still lost in deep slumber.

Then, her voice came through the telepathic bond, crystal clear and dripping with smug satisfaction:

[Hm... even after he fucked me senseless like a wild animal all night long, this guy is still hard as steel in the morning. Does he ever run out of energy? God, his stamina is actually insane...]

A short pause, then her tone shifted, becoming more calculated, almost regretful:

[Well... time to start the show. I’m sorry, Jack. I really am. But I know the truth now—I can only be yours. I’m sorry for deceiving you like this... but my feelings for you... They’re real. They have to be real.]

I had to fight the urge to smile. Instead, I stirred slightly under the sheets, letting out a low, groggy groan as if I was just beginning to wake up.

The tangled bedsheets barely covered our naked bodies. Kate suddenly gasped theatrically and yanked the blanket up to her chin, curling into a tight ball with her head ducked between her knees. Her shoulders started trembling, and soft, convincing sobs began to escape her lips.

[This should work... There’s no way Jack can ignore me when I look this broken, this pitiful... He’ll feel so guilty he won’t even question it.]

I smiled inwardly. Oh, Kate. You sweet, devious little actress. You have no idea how well I can play this game, too.

I opened my eyes slowly, blinking several times like I was fighting off a massive hangover. I rubbed my temples with a dramatic groan. ”Ugh... fuck... my head is killing me. I really shouldn’t have drunk so much last night...”

I muttered, my voice thick and raspy. I looked around the unfamiliar hotel room in feigned confusion. ”Where the hell am I? This isn’t my room...”

My gaze dropped to my own bare chest and the very obvious morning erection tenting what little sheet remained over my lap. ”Shit—my clothes! Why the fuck am I completely naked?”

I turned my head to the side and froze, eyes widening in perfect shock. ”Kate?! What the—?! Oh my God...”

Kate looked up at me slowly, her eyes already red-rimmed and swollen with perfectly manufactured tears streaming down her flushed cheeks. Her lower lip quivered beautifully. God, she was good at the waterworks.

”J-Jack...” she whispered, her voice cracking on my name. She clutched the blanket tighter to her chest, deliberately letting one bare shoulder slip out for effect.

I sat up abruptly, making sure my expression twisted into pure panic and guilt. ”Ms. Kate... I—I’m so sorry. I don’t know what happened. I swear I don’t remember anything after the drink. This... this is all my fault.”

Kate let out a broken sob, burying her face in her hands as her shoulders shook violently. ”W-What am I going to do now...? How could this happen...?” Her voice was raw, trembling with emotion. ”My husband... my little girl... Oh God, what have I done? I’ve ruined everything!”

I swallowed hard, forcing my voice to crack with remorse. ”Kate, please... don’t say that. It’s not your fault. I was the one who was drunk. I lost control. I should’ve never put you in this position.”

I reached out toward her hesitantly, then pulled my hand back as if afraid to touch her. ”I’ll take full responsibility. Whatever you need—money, help with your family, anything—I’ll do it. Just... please don’t cry.”

Through the bond, her thoughts were a chaotic storm:

[He doesn’t even remember a single thing... but he’s still trying to take all the blame for me. He’s being so kind, so gentle... Should I just tell him the truth?]

[No. If I tell him I drugged his drink, that I practically raped him while he was out of it, he’ll hate me forever. I can’t bear it if he looks at me with disgust. But lying to him like this... why does it hurt so much in my chest?]

Kate lifted her tear-streaked face, her voice barely above a broken whisper. ”You don’t understand, Jack. I’m a married woman. I have a daughter waiting for me at home. Last night... You were so drunk. I only wanted to help you back to your room. I went to get you some water, and when I came back...” She let her voice trail off, choking on another sob.

”You... you pounced on me. You were so strong, so aggressive. I tried to push you away, but... but I couldn’t. It all happened so fast.”

I let out a heavy, pained sigh, running my hands through my hair in apparent distress. ”Kate, no. Please don’t blame yourself. I’m the monster here. I should’ve stopped it. I should’ve been stronger, more in control. God, I can’t believe I did this to you.” My voice dropped lower, thick with fake emotion. ”You must feel so violated... so scared right now. I’m so fucking sorry.”
