The Last Paragon in the Apocalypse

Chapter 1438: Mission Variables

The mission had now changed when he learned the Foreign Race might already be ahead of the game and that some people in this universe were behind their sudden invasion.

Klaus was already aware that the Heavens Court might have already come into contact with someone way out of the league of this universe’s powerhouses.

He had his suspicions from the start. However, now, he knew for certain that this was indeed the case. They were in contact with someone very powerful.

But the Foreign Race is also a threat, and if some people he wasn’t aware of yet were involved, then there is a big chance one of the three powerhouses is responsible.

Taking out the Heavenly Court, because he knew they were already rotten to the core, and the Dark Space Company, because they are his organization, this left him with the Universe Bank, the Mission Hall, and the Warrior Tower.

Deep down, he knew the Warrior Tower was clean simply because the Burning Angel was one of its founders. If someone like him is part of such an organization, then there is a chance they aren’t involved with the Foreign Race.

Of course, since there are 12 founding leaders, some of them may have long since deviated from their mission.

However, he doubts they are all bad. Most of them are enemies of the Paragon, but he knew they wouldn’t be stupid enough to do something this dangerous.

But then again, the human mind is a greedy little thing. Who knows what they are capable of when the right price is offered?

The Universe Bank is more into business and making a profit, so it wouldn’t put it past them. There is a good chance they’ll go into bed with the Foreign Race for profit, so he needs to keep them on his radar.

As for the Mission Hall, he knew for sure they would be involved. After all, from what he had learned, their founding leaders were, at one point in his many lives, mortal enemies.

He only recalled one, the Nine Lives Cat King. He was his rival during his 4th incarnation. They fought many battles and came close to killing each other more than once. That bastard is greedy, so he wouldn’t put it past him.

So, if that is the case, then there is no reason to turn down an offer to grow stronger. If he manages to sink his fangs into someone like Queen Leah, reaching the True Immortal stage within a month won’t be impossible.

The stronger his main body grows, the more bodies he can control. Personally, he planned on sending out all nine bodies. Their missions would be to infiltrate all the places he wants to spread his influence.

This way, when he is done with them, there will be no room for them to recover.

”Fine. I will see what I can do,” Klaus sighed and started enjoying the time he had left with his wives. They had earned so much that all 27 of them planned on entering seclusion in the next couple of hours.

Since he would be staying for a few more weeks, they would be out before he left. This decision was also so he could spend some time with Lady Danika and the others.

After two more hours in each other’s arms, he freshened up, and for the first time in seven days, he left the room.

When he came out of the room, the first person he saw was the one he wanted to see the most.

”Lady Danika...” Klaus said, walking toward the beautiful lady who was doing her morning yoga. Since she decided to take the route of a formation expert, she had no reason to learn how to fight.

Of course, even if she tried, she doesn’t have the physique to handle combat. So aside from minor stretches, she doesn’t do much.

Her daughter, who knew how flexible she is, told her to improve on that. This way, when Klaus gives her the new version of his blood, there is a chance she will awaken a secondary class that can aid her in combat.

”K-Klaus... what are you doing here?” Seeing she wasn’t properly dressed like she would love to be when around Klaus, she panicked.

Klaus laughed, knowing she was just being silly. Many would love to show off a body like hers, so the fact that she is hiding it made him wonder if she was being for real.

”No need to be embarrassed, Lady Danika. You look perfect in my eyes.”

She blushed and turned her head away, making sure her eyes weren’t on the brat she is doing her best not to be shy around.

”How are you doing, mother-in-law?” Klaus stopped before her and lifted her head by her chin, forcing her to look at his handsome face.

”I am fine,” she replied before turning her head again.

”How cute. To think a bona fide beauty such as yourself would be this flustered before me, I am awestruck.” Lady Danika smiled and was about to run off when Klaus grabbed her by the waist and jumped, landing in the pool two meters from them.

Lady Danika tried to scream, but Klaus covered her lips with his hand, causing only a muffled sound to come out.

”I saw how sweaty you are and decided to wash your body first before we go out.”

”Go out?” Lady Danika asked, clearly not hearing Klaus well.

The brat smiled and nodded. ”I plan to roam the city, so I want you to come with me.”

”I don’t know.” She turned and looked at the mansion he came out of. ”How about your wives? Aren’t they around to go with you?”

”They are too tired after an entire week of sex.” Klaus grinned. ”And what do you mean by my wives? Aren’t you also my wife?”

He moved closer and pulled her by the waist, causing her huge chest to slam into his. ”Or are you telling me you don’t want to be my wife?”

”I didn’t say that.”

”Oh, then you want to become my wife.”

Klaus pulled her even closer and kissed her neck. ”You can’t do this here... We are outside.”

”What is there to be worried about? It is just you and me here, or are you afraid your daughter will see you?” The red color on her cheeks turned even redder.

”Oh, how cute.” Klaus licked her neck and moved his head closer to her face. ”Makes me wonder if you and your daughter had already planned to devour me.”

He kissed her before she could respond.

A few seconds later, he pulled back and smiled at her. ”Don’t worry, we will not be having sex today. However, I am going to make sure that after today, you will not feel shy around me any longer.”

His hand moved and grabbed one of her breasts while his head moved for another kiss. This time, he slid his tongue into her mouth and started exploring there.

Meanwhile, his hand holding her breast slowly started to massage it, moving his fingers skillfully to slowly remove her tank top.

A few minutes into it, one breast was freed, allowing Klaus to pinch her nipple.

”MmmhhhH,” she moaned, her body heating up.
