The Last Paragon in the Apocalypse

Chapter 1398: Identity Revealed

One moment, everyone was celebrating the Renegade Hunter; the next second, they all started looking at him with suspicious gazes.

Even Supreme Engineer Winnie and Supreme Queen Mirabel, who had just complimented and sung his praises, now looked at him with eyes filled with suspicion.

Seeing this, a wave of anger filled Klaus’s heart, and that could be seen from the gaze he was giving Supreme Elder Juo. It had been a long time since he felt this much anger toward anyone or anything.

He was on track to earn more than he expected, but Supreme Elder Juo had to use his big mouth to destroy everything.

Even if he managed to prove his innocence, which he could, the seed of doubt planted in everyone’s hearts and minds would forever remain.

If he even manages to clear his name, Supreme Elder Juo would still win, for everyone would be suspicious of Klaus from now onwards, even if they didn’t want to show it.

Klaus chuckled. ”A friend of mine once said, enemies are not made, they are raised.” His gaze narrowed at Supreme Elder Juo. ”You have managed to become my enemy, old man. And for that, only one of us can live.

All that I have done since leaving home has been to help people and make a name for myself. I wanted to carve my own path.

I have succeeded in some way, but because of your overinflated ego and inability to accept defeat, you had to spout loads of crap just to feel something. I even pity you because, from what I know, only those with poor performance in bed behave like this.

Ah, I pity your wife instead; she may have suffered for who knows how long.”

The anger in Klaus’s voice could be felt by everyone. However, considering his current rank and the fact that he was saying those words to a Supreme, everyone, including some of the Supremes, turned pale.

Supreme Elder Juo’s expression turned green, a wave of anger bubbling in his heart. There was just no way he would take this lying down. But Klaus wasn’t done with him...

”This all started because you couldn’t accept that I was better than you when you were my age. Shit, when you were my age, you were probably still playing with your pinky.

You rejected me from the Warrior Tower, which I accepted gladly. You then went ahead and used your son to try and humiliate me—and yes, I know Rouni is your son and disciple.

He failed at that, so you had to resort to this means to humiliate and tarnish my name. News flash, maybe instead of painting a target on my back, use the same effort to locate the Paragon or come up with a different theory because trust me, the last thing you would want is forcing me to become someone I am not, so you can have the justification to kill me” Klaus sneer at him, ”as if you have the balls to even do that.”

He took a step toward him, a clear sigh of defiance. He wanted to state he was not afraid of him, not even one bit.

”Listen carefully because I will only say it once.

My name is Klaus Hanson Zorvian. And yes, I am from the Great Ancient Zorvian Family. If you have some more questions, you can go ask the Family Head. I am sure Old Zorvian would be happy to give you a suitable explanation that won’t end with your head flying off your body.”

After saying that, Klaus retrieved the dark keys he was given by Supreme Engineer Winnie and Supreme Queen Mirabel and threw them back at them with a gentle wave.

”Up until today, I have been doing my stuff based on advice from a wise senior. He said the last thing I wanted was to reject an offer from powerhouses. I have followed his words, tried my best to please everyone, but see where that landed me.

So from today onwards, I am only a Hunter. If anyone wants to do business with me, they can contact me in person or via my personal profile on the Dark Space.

I am done trying to make others happy.” He turned toward Supreme Elder Juo.

”If I were you, I would start washing my neck. You have no idea how many powerful people you have offended.”

The last person he turned to was Blue Ivy. ”Nice meeting you again. I hope we see each other again in the future, maybe even in person.” After saying that, his silhouette vanished, leaving everyone in the arena and those watching from home in a state of shock.

No matter how one looks at it, there was just no way Klaus should have gone that far. Against an Immortal, perhaps it would have been taken lightly. However, the person he had just disrespected was a Supreme, someone close to the rank of a Celestial.

That was just courting death.

However, despite all this, what left many in shock was Klaus’s background. The Zorvian Family is what many call the Ultimate Warrior Family.

They have existed since the Primordial Era. In every era, a warrior comes from the family and dominates the universe.

During the Primordial Era, the Formation Queen came from the Zorvian Family. Then, during the Divine Era, the Scarlet Sword appeared and swept the universe. During the war between Gods and Immortals, she fought alongside the legendary Divine Archer.

During the Era of the Elemental Paragon, they sent out the Red Fury, who can be counted among the few who came close to killing a Paragon.

This shows their reputation is vast and powerful. So, for Klaus to come from such a powerhouse, everyone suddenly started to understand why he is so monstrous.

”From what is known about the Zorvian Family, they mostly send out their chosen warrior every era and only reveal their identity when they reach the God Rank.

However, because of Supreme Elder Juo, he was forced to reveal his identity to clear his name. I wonder how the Zorvians will react to this.”

The news media started adding more oil to the fire. In no time, all who hadn’t had the privilege to watch the battle heard what happened, and their main takeaway was the Zorvian heir.

Klaus was back in the news again, but this time his achievement had far transcended his former ones. Aside from him, Supreme Elder Juo’s name had also started spreading, with many calling him the Caller of Calamity.

[Private Pocket Universe - Zorvian Mansion]

Meanwhile, inside a pocket universe hidden from those not authorized to enter, a man with white hair and a white beard opened his eyes as if he had been meditating the entire time.

He is the head of the oldest and strongest Primordial family in the universe. The Great Ancient Zorvian family. Those who know him call him Old Zorvian.

He stood up and walked to a garden where two others—a man and a woman in their late 40s—were having afternoon tea. Surprisingly, they also had white hair.

When they saw the white-haired man walk into the garden, they stood up to greet him. ”Father, you are awake,” the female said, a smile appearing on her face.

”Of course I am awake,” he replied and sat down to pour himself tea. Before taking a sip, he took a deep sigh. ”After all, that troublemaker has returned.”

”Yes. We saw his signal five years ago but couldn’t find him for some reason.”

”That is because he had completed the cycle. This is the final life and the one we have been waiting for.” He took another sip.

”Is that why you are awake?” the man asked, looking at his father.

”No. I am awake because he has just revealed his identity as a member of our family.”

”That is impossible. He would never do that unless...”

”He had no other choice,” the old man completed his daughter’s sentence. ”I think it is time we remind the universe who we are. Time for them to know why the Paragon is the most dangerous person in the entire multiverse.”
