The Last Paragon in the Apocalypse

Chapter 584 Escalating...

It has already been five days since the attack on Klausʼs family, and the world is still talking about it. Itʼs everyoneʼs daily and hourly discussion.

The attack was unexpected, and the fact that the attackers made their motives known is equally shocking.

Miriam nearly died, and had it not been for the twinsʼ timely intervention, his mom would have lost her life.

These two outcomes are the basis of everyoneʼs discussions. But, of course, things only got more interesting after the attack.

According to the news, people have already started evacuating Union City after the Duncan Legacy Family and the Three Clans began moving their troops there.

They declared war and immediately began to prepare.

A day after the attack, they announced that if Klaus didnʼt respond within two weeks, they would launch another attack.

This statement was made by the four family heads leading the alliance...

Naturally, their declaration, tied to the events in Union City when Klaus killed the mercenaries, has worked in their favour—at least among a portion of the population that supports them.

They are not calling for the Overlords to intervene, as they see this as a battle solely between them and Klaus Hanson.

Two days after the attack, the Dark Order issued a statement declaring their alliance with the Three Clans and the Duncan Legacy Family.

A few hours later, the Vargas Legacy Family of the Southern Union also joined the alliance, turning it into a force that cannot be ignored.

Naturally, Klausʼs fans began calling out their shamelessness. But that is war, and they are preparing. Klaus was still asleep, talking to three of his incarnations.

Three days after the attack, Queenie, as the leader of the Overlords, issued a statement saying they wouldnʼt interfere in the matters between the Legacy Clan alliance (as they are calling themselves) and Klaus.

This statement further raised many eyebrows, but nobody questioned them. The overlords are the overlords for a reason...

Naturally, Queenie made this statement only after Klausʼs mother instructed her to do so. For some reason, after witnessing everything that had happened, something snapped inside her.

She now wanted revenge, but since she could not act on it herself, she had to trust her son, who told Queenie to issue the statement.

Queenie, of course, was skeptical at first, but after they sat down and discussed things, she issued the statement.

Now that the statement was out, everyone knew Klaus and the Legacy Clan Alliance were bound to clash.

Naturally, after the statement was made, Moonville Group LLC informed the denizens of Union City to start moving to their affordable housing project.

This project was part of Queenieʼs housing initiative, which she had prepared for her people from the moon. This move was, of course, intended to make it easier for humans and the Moonborn to connect when they descended in a monthʼs time.

It was also her way of ensuring that the innocent were not affected in the coming battles between the alliance and Klaus. They couldnʼt allow innocent people to die.

Four days later, Nia, Luna, and Nuna arrived with KKKickinIt, who was ecstatic when they told her Klaus wanted to make a statement through her channel.

They brought her through the Shadow Realm.

With the three working together, KKKickinIt was moved in secret and brought to Klausʼs home, where she was housed in a room with a guard stationed outside. They wouldnʼt want someone who reports on gossip snooping around.

Nadia also woke up on the fourth day looking depressed. Luckily, Klausʼs mother foresaw this and, being a good mother, spent hours talking to her.

Of course, Klausʼs mom knew she would need a few days to recover, so after talking to her, a dark gate crackling with lightning opened, and she stepped through.

Asha, who saw this, smiled. She might also have something similar to that.

Kofi has also woken up but is recuperating and wonʼt be fighting anytime soon. He was injured in the heart, and had it not been for Lucyʼs wood element, he would have died.

Old Lu also went back to the academy to guard Nari, who was still asleep even after weeks. Something was definitely going on with her, but they just didnʼt understand what it was.

In fact, Queenie thanked her lucky stars for letting Nari sleep; by now, fire and devastation would have rocked Union City.

Perhaps it was for the best. In the short time Nari spent with Klaus, she had grown closer to him that if she were to hear of the attack on her family, who knows what she would have done.

Now, everyone was just waiting for Klaus to make his appearance. Those who wouldnʼt be taking part in the war had evacuated, thanks to Moonville Group LLC.

Klausʼs women and male friends were guarded and ready to join him in his war with the Legacy Clan Alliance.

”So, Hanna still hasnʼt left his side, huh?” Klausʼs mom asked, looking at some of the most beautiful ladies in the entire world all gathered in the same room. They were all her sonʼs women.

”Sheʼs hugging him like a koala bear. I doubt sheʼll be coming out anytime soon,” Anna replied, shaking her head. Hanna was the one who carried Klaus to her bedroom when he passed out.

Strangely, she hadnʼt let him go and just hugged him while she drifted off to sleep. The ladies could only watch.

”No need to be jealous, Anna. She is special to Klaus,” Lucy said to Anna, noticing her behaviour, which made Anna blush slightly.

”Honestly, I think the two are made for each other. Itʼs even weird that Hanna is still resisting him when Klaus clearly wouldnʼt bat an eye at making her his.

I mean, look at them. Klaus is handsome, and Hanna is gorgeous. They are practically made for each other,” Lily said, shaking her head. The ladies around her nodded.

”I guess sheʼs treating him more like a brother. I mean, back when you ladies arrived at the academy, she threatened us with Overlord Nari to stop us from spending all our time with Klaus.

Only someone who is clearly overprotective of him would do that. From my point of view, the two are more like brother and sister.”

The ladies nodded again. Of course, they didnʼt share the same father or mother, but their bond, from what they could tell, was something even true siblings couldnʼt mimic.

The ladies and guys continued talking about various things, with even Queenie chiming in from time to time. She had grown close to Klausʼs female companions and even his male friends, so it wasnʼt as strange as one might think.

”So, you ladies and guys do realize Klaus wonʼt allow you to join this battle, right?” A few hours into their conversation, Klausʼs mother chose to raise the most important question.

Of course, they had anticipated it, but hearing her say it dampened their mood. Klausʼs mother might be weak, but she knew her son far better than they did.

She was right—Klaus wouldnʼt allow his friends and lovers to get involved in this mess.

He will want to make a statement—a loud one. So, he will participate in this battle alone.

However, peopleʼs view of him will change drastically after the upcoming battle with the Legacy Clan alliance. Right now, Klaus is feeling only one thing... and that is anger.

He is furious, and this anger isnʼt about to be subdued—not even by Hanna, who seems to have some form of influence over him. Continue your saga on

No, this anger is something known by only a few as ʼThe Paragon Furyʼ.

In the coming days, Klaus would be turning the world upside down. As to how... only the stars can tell.
