Stealing Spree

Chapter 2905: Can I join you? (1)

I gave Yuika a soft, lingering kiss on the forehead, admiring how her orange hair clung to her flushed cheeks in wet, messy curls. ”Alright. Stay here for a moment and catch your breath. I’ll be back soon.”

”N-no. I’ll finish up. You stay with her, Ruki.”

This... Isn’t this inappropriate? And after we had the talk about not forcing her into anything?

When I looked at Yuika-senpai again, she was wearing a subtle smile that told me enough that she’s well aware of what she’s trying to make me do.

”Yuika-senpai, you have to explain this to me later or else... I’ll scold you.”

”Un. Scold me. I don’t mind it, Ruki.” She answered with a cheeky smile.

I could guess what was in her head. This was her also looking out for Minori-senpai. Even though she wasn’t as strong-willed as her, she definitely wasn’t ignorant of things.

In fact, I doubt she truly believed nothing happened between Minori-senpai and me earlier. She just decided not to pry into it.

I smilingly shook my head before kissing the girl again.

”Alright. You said that. I’m going to scold you next time. But don’t you think I might be denied entry by her?”

”I doubt it. Minori has already been won over by you, Ruki.”

”You think so?”

”Un... Minori likes you too.”

She likes me, huh? Thinking about it, it should be true but Minori-senpai’s personality was suppressing that. It’s not about not wanting to admit to it. In her case, it’s simply about how she’s afraid to form a bond with someone from the opposite sex. The trauma she suffered back then was still haunting her.

That’s why she drew the line and masked it by claiming to be sacrificing herself for Yuika-senpai’s sake and satisfying her own womanly urges.

”If you said it like that, I’d be emboldened, you know?”

”Then go for it, Ruki. I’ll rest for a moment and wash up. I’ll wait for you two outside.”

”No good. You know me, senpai. I can’t just leave you behind after finishing. What kind of husband will I become if I do that?”

”Pfft. You’re already a husband who won’t be able to rest easily, Ruki.” Yuika-senpai giggled before poking my nose, her eyes sparkling with a mischievous warmth. ”But since you’re so insistent, shower with me, Ruki. Once I’m done, I’ll wait for you two outside.”

”Mhm. Deal,” I murmured, pulling her back into the warm stream.

The atmosphere shifted from the frantic energy of passion to something more tender. I spent the next few minutes carefully washing her, the soap sliding over her creamy curves as I made sure every trace of the pool’s chlorine was gone. Yuika-senpai did the same for me while keeping one arm draped over my shoulder, claiming her territory even as she relaxed.

By the time we stepped out of the stall, she looked like a pampered kitten, her skin glowing and her eyes soft.

Without saying anything more, the girl tiptoed to give me one more kiss before separating from me and exiting the shower room first.

As the door clicked shut behind her, the silence of the tiled room felt heavy, amplified by the sound of running water at the other end of the row. I turned my gaze toward the first stall, where the curtain remained still.

I walked slowly towards it as the wet slap of my feet against the floor echoed like a heartbeat. At the moment, water still dripped down my body. Although I thought of not putting my swimming trunks back on, I decided to slip them back on in the end.

It’s Minori-senpai, after all. I could act shameless but since I told her I wouldn’t do or force her into anything without her permission, I’d naturally respect that.

As I arrived before the curtain, I listened to the inactivity within. I could see the silhouette of Minori-senpai standing there, her posture rigid, though the slight shift of her shoulders suggested she was breathing heavily.

Whether she heard my conversation with Yuika-senpai earlier or not didn’t matter anymore. I could tell she already sensed my presence.

After waiting for a few seconds, I called out softly, ”Senpai, can I join you?”

She didn’t answer and her silhouette also didn’t make any move.

”If you don’t answer me, I’ll take that as a yes.” I continued while putting on a slightly playful tone.

A long silence followed, the kind of silence that seemed to shimmer with anticipation.

As I reached for the curtain, ready to part it open for me to enter, a soft, shaky exhale escaped from within the stall. Still, no word came from her.

”Then, please excuse me, senpai,” I said in a more respectful tone. I could tease her here, but it’s better to start with this, right?

With this, I slid the curtain open slightly, just enough for me to slip inside the narrow space.

Upon stepping in, I let go of it again, closing us off from the rest of the room. With the shower still running, the space was a humid sanctuary of white noise and steam. Minori-senpai was standing there, her back to me, her head bowed. She was completely naked, her skin taking on a rosy hue from the warm water and something else. Something that looked suspiciously like embarrassment.

She didn’t turn around, but I noticed her shoulder flinching slightly. Obviously, she was more than aware that I was already inside the same stall as her.

”Senpai,” I started, ”I’m here. I’ll ask again just in case. Can I join you?”

”You’re already here. Do you need to ask again?” Minori-senpai whispered with a slightly trembling voice.

A moment later, she finally turned around, her gaze avoiding mine. However, she didn’t move to cover herself. Her skin was a deep, flushed crimson, and the warm water of the shower traced the elegant, lean curves of her body. Unlike Yuika-senpai’s soft plushness, Minori had a lithe, athletic grace that felt equally intoxicating in the humid air.

I didn’t reply right away. I simply stood there, letting the silence settle between us, allowing her to process the fact that I was respecting the boundary I had set earlier.

I could see the conflict playing out in the way she bit her lip as her chest rose and fell in shallow, uneven breaths.

Clearly, she wanted this. No. She probably wanted this all along. But the habit of hesitation to form a bond with me was a hard shell to crack.

”I told you I’d respect your choices, senpai.” I reminded her softly. ”So if you’re only letting me in here because you feel forced to accept it, I can get out right now.”

”This guy... I’m seriously gonna get mad at you.” She let out a heavy sigh before lifting her head and meeting my gaze. ”You’re already here. What are you still on about asking me? Just shut up and... come here.”

Her words were blunt, but the way her eyes flickered with a hint of both anticipation and annoyance was quite an amusing sight.

”Then, should I also get naked?” This time, I intentionally used a teasing tone as I put my fingers on the waistband of my trunks. ”Since we’re in the shower together, it would be a waste to keep these on, wouldn’t it?”

Minori-senpai’s face flared into a deeper shade of red, her gaze darting away. ”D-do whatever you want! Just... stop talking so much.”

I chuckled and quickly stepped out of my swimwear. With her eyes following my movements in a series of rapid, nervous flinches, I stepped forward, joining her under the showerhead.

The warm water seemed to hammer against our shoulders, the steam swirling around us becoming a thick veil of fragrant clouds.

Without breaking eye contact, I entered her personal space where I could reach for her.

And since she told me to do whatever I want, I didn’t stand on ceremony. My hand landed on her waist before sliding to her back as I pulled her close, zeroing our distance.

Unlike Yuika, who had practically melted into me the moment we touched, Minori remained stiff as she seemed to still hesitate whether to hold onto me or cover herself.

I guess she’s feeling embarrassed now. And somehow, I couldn’t help but find that side of her incredibly endearing.
