Building a Business Empire with my Technological System

Chapter 342: The Grand Opening
January 25th, 2030.

At Quezon City, Philcoa.

There was an anticipated event happening near the Quezon Memorial Circle, and that was the opening of the new mall, the Reyes Mall. The event caused a lot of traffic as people flocked to witness the grand opening.

Michael Reyes and Henry Sy Jr. stood at the main entrance of the mall, shaking hands and smiling. They were both happy that after almost two years, the mall had been finished and was now opening.

”Congratulations, Michael,” Henry said, his smile broad. ”You’ve done an incredible job here.”

”Thank you, Henry. I couldn’t have done it without your support,” Michael replied warmly. ”This is just the beginning.”

The crowd around them cheered as cameras flashed, capturing the moment for the media. Reporters jostled for position, eager to get a statement from the two business magnates.

Henry turned to the crowd and raised his hand. ”Thank you all for being here today. This mall represents the hard work and dedication of many people. We hope it will become a hub for the community, providing not only shopping and entertainment but also jobs and opportunities for many.”

Michael nodded in agreement. ”Reyes Mall is more than just a shopping center. It’s a symbol of progress and innovation. We have incorporated the latest technologies to enhance the shopping experience, making it more convenient and enjoyable for everyone.”

As the crowd cheered, Michael’s eyes scanned the gathering for a familiar face. Spotting his mother, Myra, standing near the front, he felt a wave of emotion. He raised his hand to get her attention and gestured for her to join him on the stage.

”Before we continue, there’s someone very special I want to introduce,” Michael said and continued. ”This mall is not just a business venture for me; it’s a gift to the person who has been my greatest support and inspiration. Mom, could you please come up here?”

Michael squeezed her hand. ”Thank you, Ma. I wouldn’t be here without you.”

As the ceremony continued, various performances and presentations were made to entertain the guests. There were traditional Filipino dances, live music, and a fashion show showcasing the latest trends available at the mall’s stores. The atmosphere was festive, and everyone was enjoying themselves.

After the performances, it was time to cut the ribbon. Michael, Myra, Henry, and several key figures involved in the project gathered around the entrance. With a pair of oversized scissors in hand, Michael turned to his mother.

”Ma, I want you to do the honors,” he said, handing her the scissors.

Myra hesitated for a moment, overwhelmed by the honor, but then took the scissors with a determined smile. Together, they cut the ribbon, officially opening Reyes Mall to the public. The crowd cheered once more as the doors swung open, and people began to flood inside, eager to explore the new mall.

Inside, it was everything they had expected and more—futuristic and innovative. There were interactive maps to help visitors navigate the space, smart lockers for secure and convenient storage, and a variety of eco-friendly features like solar panels and energy-efficient lighting.

Michael and Myra walked through the mall together, greeting shoppers and store owners. They stopped by a café for a quick coffee in Starbucks, soaking in the lively atmosphere. The café was buzzing with excitement, and people recognized Michael, offering their congratulations.

”You’ve built something extraordinary here, Michael,” a customer remarked, shaking his hand.

”Thank you,” Michael replied, smiling. ”I hope you enjoy your time here.”

As they continued their tour, they encountered a children’s play area, a state-of-the-art cinema, and an indoor garden with a beautiful water feature. The mall was designed to be a place where families could spend the entire day, finding something new and exciting around every corner.

Myra looked around, her eyes wide with amazement. ”This is beautiful.”

”I know Ma,” Michael replied as he looked at her. ”Take care of the mall for me okay?”

”I will,” Myra promised.
