Re-Awakening: I Ascend with a Legendary class

Chapter 594: Party A vs Party B

Almond and the gang arrived at the garden where they had previously sold the food.

Ainen cooked, and everyone ate before going to the entertainment district in this luxurious city.

The entertainment district was a collection of small islands floating in the sky, connected to each other through magical flowing water rivers.

Each island had exotic structures and setups for whatever entertainment they provided.

The group saw a rather large island with a comparatively large population. It had three big screens and a floating platform for the audience.

Movies.

Curious, the group decided to go watch a movie there.

They bought the royal-tier seats, which were basically big beds in a private spatial sphere with a special 5D experience through the glass.

”Layer 3 is going to be even more interesting, so do we go there at Tier-6 right away or break through more?” Lily asked as her head rested on his chest, and her hand at his crotch, just roaming.

It helped that the movie they chose to watch was a romance-thriller-murder genre with quite graphic and intense scenes.

Almond’s hand, which was around her shoulder and hanging before her chest, was not idle. It was inside Lily’s undergarment.

”Layer 3 is... it’s good that we got information about it already, but we may need to assess our power more before deciding,” Almond said. ”Layer 3 is the first big leap, and progress from there is interconnected with the rest of the layers.”

”Realm of Puppets & Kings, right?” Lily smiled, her eyes glinting. ”I can’t wait to go there.”

That was what Layer 3 was called.

Realm of Puppets & Kings.

”I also can’t wait in that sense.” Almond grinned. ”We’ve got to make our name famous there.”

Lily laughed. ”King Almond Regalon and Queen Lily Regalon. Perfect.”

Almond grabbed her hand and smiled. ”Once we reach the very height of power in Layer 3, we’ll bring prince and princess Regalons into the world.”

Lily’s eyes lit up. ”That’s perfect. Layer 3’s laws will also ensure they’ll live safely as long as we become the strongest there.”

”Yep. But we’ve got to forge their will strongly by creating artificial danger and training them.”

”Of course, they are our kids. They will survive this exotic world; we’ll make sure of that.”

...

The group had reached Tier-5, but the requirement to reach Tier-6 was to evolve the cards of their second deck.

And that would take days.

The gang also took it easy as they lived leisurely with daily training and meditation.

They didn’t force insights from their cards as they did with the first deck, but let them naturally happen.

There was no need to hurry.

After buying a place to live in Vorara City, they began to enjoy their lives there while progressing naturally.

On the other hand, the rest of the Regalons were progressing nicely.

So far, no one had truly died yet.

But one pair had gotten themselves into quite a mess.

[A bet has been established. If Party A wins, Party B will grovel and apologize while begging for death before getting killed by Party A.]

[If Party B wins, Party A will become slaves of Party B.]

Party B was a group of five nearly identical bronze, muscular beings with different crowns and different colored hairstyles.

”Bitches. Once we win, the first thing we’ll do is live stream an orgy.”

”Haha, I can’t wait for that. Brothers, which two among us should go? Let’s decide.”

While these five beings discussed, Party A stood not too far away.

They were on an island with an ongoing party, but this fight shifted the event as everyone was hyped for the battle.

”Nat...” Kayla looked at Natalia, who was fuming at Party B with her arms crossed.

”Look at those single brain-celled dickheads,” Natalia glared at Kayla. ”We are going to kill them, got it?”

Kayla’s root-like light green-golden hair and similarly colored one-piece long dress visibly grew and glowed as she sighed in increasing stress. ”They are all Tier-10, but we are Tier-4 only. This will be difficult.”

”Humph, be confident. We just finished building our second deck after winning an S-rank game. Even if we didn’t fight any Tier-10 before, it doesn’t matter.”

Natalia sported a long purple hairstyle with a black and gold ceremonial military-style coat-dress with epaulettes and a red sash, paired with white gloves and strap-fastened shoes, creating a gothic imperial commander aesthetic.

[Battle Style: One versus One. Two Rounds. In case of a draw, one round of Two versus Two shall determine the winner.]

[Choose your first round participants.]

”Go. You can do it.” Natalia nodded.

Kayla took a deep breath, her eyes calm, almost serene, as she nodded. ’I’ll go first.’

At that thought, she vanished and appeared in the sky, inside a spatial arena that formed with Layer 3’s will.

The arena was a simple colosseum, 1000 meters in radius and sealed in a parallel space fold.

”Rejoice. We are giving you a chance here by sending the weakest of us in the first round.”

”Stop farting from your mouth, volcanic dogshit,” Natalia snorted.

Volcanic Dogshit, as the words suggested, matched his crown’s colors, so Natalia called him that.

”Bitch, just wait. Once we win, only screams and moans will come out of that mouth,” the man with a purple-blue-sparked crown spoke.

Volcanic Dogshit disappeared and appeared across from Kayla with a distance of 100 meters between them.

The spatial arena sealed with a low hum, a thousand-meter-wide colosseum suspended in a parallel fold of space. Translucent barriers shimmered around the perimeter while the island crowd beyond roared in anticipation.

Kayla stood still.

Across from her, the bronze giant rolled his shoulders, molten veins glowing beneath metallic skin. Heat radiated off him in waves.

She inhaled once.

Calm.

Then her suit awakened.

Light bloomed from her chest, spreading in branching green-gold lines across her body like living veins. A sleek inner layer of deep emerald formed first, leaf-vein patterns pulsing faintly with golden luminescence.

Armor unfolded over it.

Petal-like plates layered across her shoulders and hips in gradients of jade and moss, edged with translucent thorn-crystals. Root-metal gauntlets spiraled down her arms, ending in sharp obsidian-green claws. Vine-shaped greaves climbed her legs, solidifying into bark-toned armor streaked with glowing sap lines.

Behind her spine, four articulated branch-like extensions emerged—part biomech, part living growth—each tipped with rotating halos of pale green energy. A spectral mantle of drifting leaves formed at her back, constantly blooming and withering in silent cycles.

Her half-visor settled into place, shimmering between spring green and autumn amber.

The arena floor responded.

Moss crept outward from her feet.

Withered.

Bloomed again.

Life and decay in endless rhythm.
