Re-Awakening: I Ascend with a Legendary class

Chapter 439: Lilyʼs Choice (2/2)

”Alright, I found the next one,” Admiral Rudra said as his eyes glinted with heat and involuntarily thrilled. ”Arcane Note.”

A resource that would send their consciousness through a chaotic ride, allowing them a chance to acquire new arcane assets, hence directly helping them increase their Arcane Constitution as long as one managed to understand the assets during their ride.

”Thatʼs your third one, old man! Give me that one,” Lily snorted.

”Keep dreaming,” Admiral Rudra laughed and vanished as he appeared before a waterfall and entered inside to see a monolith with strange symbols.

Each monoliths were basically resources. They gave off intentions that one could feel and understand, giving them information on what kind of resources it had.

”You better search fast, Lily. Otherwise, Admiral Rudra will surpass you in Arcane Constitution,” Almond said with a chuckle.

Lily pouted. ”Just watch. I-”

Suddenly, Lily blanked out as her eyes entirely turned black and hazy, and her figure froze while floating.

”Lily?” Almond frowned and stretched his hand, putting it on her head to check her.

However, Lily shortly opened her eyes.

Almond blinked. He could see Lilyʼs eyes displaying clear turmoil.

”What happened, babe?” Almond grabbed her waist and pulled her towards him, his face several centimeters away from her.

Lily looked up slightly to look into his eyes and bit her lips. ”Bad news.”

”I was contacted by someone from the third layer.”

”What?” Almond was taken aback before he remembered something. ”Is it related to you being the 78th candidate for the contest of the Ruined Achromatic Throne?”

”Yes,” Lily nodded and couldnʼt help but weakly smile. ”So far, I only got their calls, a sort of dreamy calling that told me to accept and come there, but Iʼve been rejecting it since I wanted to ascend to the third layer with you.”

”Mhmm, so what happened this time?” Almond nodded and asked. He knew something different had happened this time from her expression and the things that had just happened to her.

”This time, a woman actually spoke to me and told me things were very bad for them, and that I urgently need to accept the call.”

Almond raised his eyebrows.

”Whether I accept the call or not, they will be forced to summon me after four hours,” Lily said as she looked at Almond and caressed his cheeks. ”In short, Iʼll be gone after four hours whether I want to or not.”

Almondʼs hands around her waist tightened a bit, and his jaw involuntarily clenched. ”No…”

Lily smiled as she saw clear worry in his eyes. Putting her arms around his neck, she said, ”I know you will worry for my life. I am going to an unknown, stronger place, right into a frying pan.”

”Canʼt you like to reject this whole thing of being a candidate?” Almond asked, his face long. ”Youʼre going there alone-”

”Itʼs a good thing for us,” Lily said before she pecked her lips on his and smiled. ”I am not going to reject this opportunity. I got complete information about this whole thing from the woman in a package, and after learning more, I wonʼt reject this all the more.”

”Darling, this is a legacy of someone who once managed to attain one of the seven thrones. But I am not going to accept it outright,” Lilyʼs eyes ignited with ambition and resolve. ”I am going to devour it as a Regalon.”

”I will incorporate that Geneline and Legacy into the Geneline of Regalon and once we meet again…” Lily hugged Almond tightly. ”We will unite and make our House of Regalon stronger than ever.” 2

Almond hugged her tightly, feeling his own unwillingness to let her go, but also Lilyʼs determination, and he wasnʼt going to snuff it out.

”I left you to go up once, and now itʼs your turn,” Almond smiled and kissed her. ”Iʼve sent a message to everyone and told them to gather. Tell them about your departure.”

”Mhmm,” Lily smiled, her eyes gleaming as she licked her lips. ”But I have four hours, so letʼs have some fun alone in your Spirit Realm. We also have to make something so that I can contact you from above. If the Big Ten has a method to contact you, then we should also have one. That way, I can finally give you information about the third layer.”

”Thatʼs important indeed,” Almond nodded as his eyes glinted.

”Yep. From what I got to know, there are Deity Familias and other stuff which is very important, and the progression is also quite different up there. If I can send various information here, you can prepare for when Big D executes the plan.”

Almond chuckled and replied, ”Yeah, Big D will be quite happy about this. Anyway, enough of others.”

He grabbed her buttcheeks and grinned. ”I want to have you for myself as long as possible before you leave.”

”Of course, my daarling~”

…

Third layer, Ruined Achromatic Familiaʼs territory.

At the moment, every single person of this familia was gathered in the large town square, facing the Chief who was standing with a scepter beside an empty pitch black throne.

”Itʼs been four hours, and she has accepted the call.”

”Let us welcome our 78th Chief Goddess—Lily Regalon Darkwood.”

The old womanʼs black, feathered wings that looked hazy and transparent unfolded, which was the only feature of this Ruined Achromatic Familia, as they all mostly looked human aside from the wings.

The woman held the scepter high as her wings unfolded and rested before she activated the runes of the small Black Will Temple that was in the townʼs square.

All other people knelt on one knee while facing the temple, their black wings unfolded.

The temple shone before a hazy and dreamy storm of pure, transparent darkness.

It lasted for ten seconds before subsiding.

Crack

The templeʼs door which had been sealed shut for hundreds of years opened, causing uneven breathing among some while tearing up due to relief in some.

A figure stepped out in a black dress and cascading dark blue hair as her pair of gem-like dark blue eyes swept across the front with surprise.

”Welcome, Chief Goddess Lily!”
