Re-Awakening: I Ascend with a Legendary class

Chapter 407: Battlesong Mountain (2/2)

93,000 kilometers checkpoint.

Almond and Lily arrived at a luxurious town where less than a thousand people were resting.

”Huh? These three even reached here?”

”To be able to resist the deafening frequencies at this height…those two Immortals got a strong will.”

By now, nobody was talking about the House of Regalon. Moreover, they only stayed trendy in the top 10 cosmos for at most ten days.

And due to Almondʼs innate talent, everyone had already forgotten about him, except for the Supreme Emperors with peak Will levels like Almond. They could resist the effect by storing Almond as a subject in their memory.

As Almond and Lily entered a chill pub with slow and peaceful instrumental musics ringing, a group of drunk high-stage Immortal Emperors belonging to some clan hollared upon seeing Almond and Lily entering.

”Bwahaha, am I blind or I am seeing two rabbits walking in here?”

”That girl got the hot figure.”

”That boy too.”

”Bwahaha!”

Raicanor behind them glared at the group, but the dwarf in their group hiccuped and shook his drunk head. ”Did that bastard just glared at us?”

”He must have wanted your dick! Hahahaha.”

”Pffff..bwahahaha.”

Naturally, whatever they were talking about wasnʼt heard by anyone because they had a barrier surrounding their big table.

However, their intention that carried in their conversations couldnʼt help but get carried out of the barrier, which was why Raicanor glared at them.

Almond and Lily had paid no heed to them and just sat at the table before ordering a drink to refresh.

”Letʼs not stop here continue for two thousand kilometers more,” Lily said as she twirled her hairlock. ”Itʼs been so much fun, but this desire to get powerful is also getting stronger each day since we are accumulating a lot of experience each day.”

”Yeah,” Almond chuckled. ”I also canʼt wait, but letʼs watch the scenery at the top and get our little bit of exotic experience. After that, we will start our breakthroughs.”

Suddenly, the trio turned their head as they saw a dwarf stumbling towards them while his friends at the other table had drunken grins.

ʼYou three should leave quickly…this bunch is from Armen clanʼs branch, if you think you canʼt beat them, leave fast. They had already killed a group several days ago when I was in the middle part of the mountain. Not just kill, but they assaulted them sexually before killing them.ʼ

Another customer at the nearby table suddenly relayed to Almond and others.

ʼArmen clan…ʼ Almond blinked. It was one of the Big Ten clans, and also one of the three that Big D suggested they join once entering Arcadia Spectrum.

”Hey, you,” the dwarf arrived and pointed at Raicanor. ”What the fuck were you staring at us for? Did we say anything to you or about you?”

”Short, you better get back to your seat,” Lily carefreely said out loud, making everyone hear her. ”Otherwise, youʼll become even shorter.”

Almond chuckled and snapped his finger. ”Lo and behold, he indeed became shorter.”

The dwarf suddenly felt everything twice as long to reach with his hand and he instantly sobered up by channling Prana.

His laughing friends were dumbfounded and burst into drunken laughter seeing their already short friend basically shrinking to height of less than a meter.

”Y-You…” The dwarfʼs golden-red beard shook in rage as he pointed at Almond. But he suddenly turned his head back to the table and shouted, ”You motherfuckers, stop laughing! This fucker did this to me, and you all are laughing?!”

Raicanor suddenly grabbed him by the hand before throwing him at their table.

The table broke and everyone fell before they once again burst out laughing except for the dwarf who turned completely red from anger, his mind blank.

The elf customer who told Almond, Lily, and Raicanor to leave was speechless. She looked at the mess at the other table and saw the dwarf about to blow up.

And he did blow up.

But exceeding a certain level of energy reading within the town would blast loud music and send the person out of the town so the dwarf vanished.

However, his shout arrived in the bar, blasting at his friends.

”GET THE FUCK UP AND DRAG THOSE THREE FUCKERS OUTSIDE!”

The five people—two humans, two dwarfs, and one a lion beastfolk stopped laughing and sobered up as well, completely changing their vibe.

”It looks like you three pushed your luck too much,” the lion-beast folk sad as he clenched his fists. ”Do you want to come outside yourseleves or want to get dragged?”

Almond faintly smiled and finished his drink.

Lily and Raicanor also did that.

”We were about to resume our journey anyway. Might as well turn you all into true spirits and make your lives worthwhile.”

The trio exceeded the energy threshold and automatically arrived outside.

The dwarf saw him and blew his top, immdeiatly launching a full powered attack as a giant infernal hammer with animated mouth and fangs roared towards the group at Hyper Speed 3.

Lilyʼs eyes flickered as two chakrams swiftly edged past it while slicing it and freezing it forcefully, stopping it just one meter before it could hit them.

”You…” the dwarfʼs eyes widened.

At this time, the other five also arrived and launched imprisoning and restriction-type abilities to seal off Almond, Lily, and Raicanor.

The rest was history. The battle lasted for less than two minutes since Lily and Almond decided to give themselves some fun challenge as usual by restricting themselves.

Raicanor just watched as usual with a proud expression.

And then, the trio continued flying upwards, crossing two thousand kilometers after two hours.

The number of monsters was a lot here, and all of them were Immortal Emperors, so it took them two hours and they also wanted to travel leisurely while experiencing the different types of battlesong phenomena and gain insight.

…

On the last day, Almond and Lily arrived at the 99,000 mark checkpoint.

Raicanor couldnʼt exist here anymore as the frequencies were destroying him.

Almond and Lily flew up to here and stood on a hill behind a lake, resisting the frequencies with their full power as well as will.

Although the peak was still 1000 kilometers away, they were glued to the scenery they could see from here and the sound coming from above.

It was trying to influence every part of their body and mind, while Almond and Lily were drowned in it without letting it affect them by resisting the frequencies.

”I want to go further…” Almond muttered. ”And itʼs time. I think I know what kind of second Intent I want.”

”Me too. Letʼs reach the peak and manifest it there,” Lily smiled. ”Thatʼd be the fitting end of our vacation.”

”Sounds good.”

Almond and Lily continued flying as their will clashed against the influences of this mystical mountain.

It was clear that since this place was closest to the third layer and bordering on it, it had these kinds of powerful and profound phenomena.

They flew slowly with serenatory. The monsters were utterly powerful as well, and they faded in with the frequencies, making it hard to notice them so it was also deadly.

However, Almond and Lily no longer held back as they wanted to reach the peak.

They killed any Monster that dared to target them while they gradually flew upward in complete trance.

And then, they finally arrived at the very peak. Their figures were hazy and blurry, as if on the verge of dispersing.

If they stopped resisting with their will, they would instantly scatter away and die.

But they persisted despite the anomaly experienced by them and stayed positive for their goal, completely absorbed in manifesting their 2nd Intents.
